Eagle Peak Cabin

Such a dream! When you walk into this cabin, you instantly feel at home. Everything feels very new and SO clean. And the views! The views on the upper balcony are beyond breathtaking! You can enjoy Big Bear Lake and all the surrounding mountain views. They have all your kitchen basics and all the bathrooms had thoughtful touches. All the rooms were tidy and beds were comfy. All of my friends enjoyed our overnight stay and we cannot wait to plan our next trip back up to the mountains. We will absolutely be returning! Home away from home!

We have rented our fair share of houses in Big Bear and must say this cabin was by far the best we have experienced. From the get go, booking was easy and Melia was quite responsive to questions. The house is spacious, very clean (loved that the most!), and stocked with all the amenities we needed. Our group of 12 (6 adults, 6 kids) enjoyed every aspect of the cabin. The kids had plenty of space to stretch out and play downstairs. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and hosting our large group, and the rooms were warm and comfy. We all enjoyed the beautiful views from the dining table throughout the day. We also enjoyed the quick drive to town and to skiing. We look forward to staying here again!

This cabin is a gem! Such a beautiful cozy yet spacious cabin! Most amazing views you could possibly get in Big Bear! It doesn’t get any better! The back porch is amazing. The owners went above and beyond to make sure this place is everything anyone would want in a cabin. It’s so comfortable, and very modern and clean. Fully loaded kitchen with all the amenities you would need for cooking a family meal. Amazing beds, enough space for a big group! You will not be disappointed! We went in the winter and made awesome memories! I can’t wait to go back in the summer!

This is the perfect luxurious cabin to unwind and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The view is absolutely breathtaking! This cabin is truly the gem of Big Bear!!!
Each morning, we sat on the deck drinking our morning coffee to watch the sunrise. Each evening, we ended our day grilling on the barbecue and drinking wine while watching the sunset. I love how tucked in we felt being able to read on the couches… while gazing at the tree-​lined mountains. So peaceful and relaxing!
We enjoyed hiking on the various hiking trails that are just steps away from the cabin. Big Bear Village is not far at all; which hosts, restaurants, bars, gift shops and candy~ which is awesome! There are SO many things to do in this area.
This cabin is the perfect combination of luxury and rustic. We absolutely adored the décor!!! Extremely well maintained and very clean. Great, open and comfortable layout; yet feels super cozy all at the same time. Towels and linens are supersoft! The bathrooms are «spa like» (HEAVEN).
The owners are outstanding and are very invested in making their guests’ stay absolutely perfect.
I highly recommend this cabin for a family reunion, a couples retreat, birthday celebrations or just to simply get away from the grind of daily life. My husband and I are already planning a trip back in September!

Our stay at Eagle Peak Cabin was amazing. We took our three kids for spring break! It is in a perfect Big Bear location, within driving distance to the Big Bear Zoo, Ski slopes, and moments to the lake, shopping and fabulous restaurants, yet in an exclusive, quiet, neighborhood. The cabin itself has an open floor plan which is ideal for gathering for a weekend with friends or family, but also, has multiple balconies with stunning mountain and lake views, which allow for private reflection and rest. The finishes have a modern luxe vibe, yet slightly rustic in design which is ideal for the big bear experience. The hardwood flooring throughout, glamorous bathrooms, large fireplace, and two story home were ideal for our family vacation. They even have a place for fido with a dog house and dog run. The home is very turnkey, you can walk in and it is ready to go! The kitchen is well stocked with solid dishes, utensils and bakeware, and is spacious enough to cook with others. My boys loved the bedrooms downstairs with custom side by side beds. Although the beds were large enough for them to share, they lavished in having their own. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend this to anyone with refined taste who wants a weekend getaway. You will not be disappointed!

I loved this cabin! It was spacious and had a great modern décor. There was even a nook to do my yoga in the morning before I went on the large deck to watch the sunrise. The views are amazing. You are up high with mountains surrounding you and the lake down below.
Each room has a lot of character. I stayed in the downstairs master which had a private balcony and a laundry room!

I wanted to plan a much needed getaway for my husband and a few other friends. after going through all the cabins on pretty much every vacation rental website I stumbled upon Eagle Peak! I was so delighted that the décor was not like your typical Big Bear cabin, its rustic and modern but still has a cozy cabin feel. I am horrible with directions even with a GPS, but finding the cabin was a breeze. Just remember to check the local big bear sites if chains are required for driving up the mountain. I was worried about the space since we were a party of 9 but when we arrived I loved how spacious the rooms are since everyone was able to hangout or do there own thing without feeling overcrowded. The location was very close to the slopes and about 5 mins from the village. I highly recommend going to the Copper Q for pastries they are delicious! The cabin was fully stocked for cooking so we were able to get food from the store and make dinner, after a long day of snowboarding it was nice to just curl up by the fire have some wine and hangout. Overall we had an amazing experience and are definitely coming back during the summer for mountain biking!

We had a great time at this cabin — great location — hiking trails located close by, as well as the golf course and the village.
We spent a majority of our time out on the deck, drinking and BBQing, which has gorgeous views of the mountain and the lake. At night, we went inside and had a blast playing games with friends at the big communal table and created a great cozy atmosphere with the fireplace.
The cabin is decorated great — a modern rustic feel. Everything is newly remodeled — lots of bedrooms and bathrooms for a large group to come stay! I can’t wait to come back over the summer and winter with another large group of friends!

I’m having so much fun in big bear.
This cabin is exactly what I was looking for.. I DO NOT like old cabins, and this blew me away.
I would say it is Industrial Rustic kinda hipster looking. .
Everything is basically brand new, and the view is possibly the best view I have ever seen. I can see the lake, the slopes, and other cabins.
And it is very close to the slope and the golf course. .
about a mile away from the village. We went to el jacalito (i recommend the Cadillac margaritas).
We are cooking carne asada on the new grill on the amazing balcony.. Seriously view is to die for!
I definitely give a thumbs up!
