Jeni has done it again!!! This summer’s frozen yogurt selection is divine!!! The Ultramarine blue buttermilk is heavenly!!! The key lime is perfection!!! And the blueberry lemon is insane!!! Keno pushed the envelope with the tartness and I LOVE it!!! The Birch and marshmallows ice cream is also mouthwatering!!! Jeni’s can’t be beat!!!

Shoooo if this Jeni’s had been here during my Capital days. I would have put on a freshman 50. But hoorah, it’s here now, and it’s a relaxing 3 mile bike ride from my place. Maybe the folks of Bexley are more loyal to Graeter’s or Johnson’s ice cream… whatever the reason, please oh please, ice cream gods, let this location continue to be an easy in & out situation with the«sampling of all the new flavors to having a cup of the same two flavors I always get» time frame usually only being around 5 or so minutes. The only thing that almost bumped this location down a star for me is where is the closest bike rack? I went all around that shopping plaza and couldn’t find one. I mean, I took a spoonful of lemon & blueberries that took me 1 minute to order and was instantly reaffirmed as to why this is a 5 star location, but seriously, with Jeni’s being the perfect stop after a ride on the Alum Creek Trail, they really need a bike rack. Or maybe there is one nearby and I missed it. If so, please let me know :)

This is my Jeni’s. It’s down the street from my house. and I’ve been about 1x/week for the past 4 years. Yeah, don’t ever look at my number of check-ins. #noshameinmyicecreamgame It’s the best ice cream, frozen yogurt, and sorbet in the world. I won’t tell you any new flavor favorites because they’ll just be gone before you know it. But some of my go-tos are: +Brown butter almond brittle. Trust me. +Salted peanut butter with chocolate flecks +Riesling poached pear sorbet +Roasted strawberry buttermilk and lemon + blueberries when in season +ANY of the buttermilk frozen yogurts Notable things I like about this particular location: +The staff is always wonderful! They are super helpful and never rush you. +It’s never crazy busy, so go ahead and skip the line at the ShoNo… +There’s parking! Lots of glorious parking. There’s a gravel lot across the street, parallel parking in front, and a private lot in the back. Take. Your. Pick.

Unilocal is all«you’ve checked in 20 times, would you like to write a review of this place?» and I’m unsure why I don’t have a review of this Jeni’s but. We all know Jeni’s ice cream so I’ll say a bit about this location specifically: — very friendly staff, always helpful — I appreciate the ease of getting in and out of this location and the fact that the lines are never SUPER long — great outdoor seating The biggest reason I’ve been to this one 20+ times is that I used to live near it, of course. And my besties still live near it.(I’m allowed to be in my 30s and have besties, right?) But I have been to(almost?) every Columbus location and this one is still a fave.

My first ever visit to a Jeni’s was for a Unilocal elite flavor launch. The email came only 48 hours before the event and I knew I had to be involved. I made from trek from Marion to Jeni’s for the two new flavors and to finally try Jeni’s. The flavors were Lemon and Blueberry frozen yogurt and a roasted strawberry ice cream. I really liked the lemon and blueberry frozen yogurt as it was tart and very refreshing and will be perfect for a summer night. My second flavor was the Bourbon salted pecan, and that was rich, but very delicious with the perfect amount of pecans to ice cream ratio. Staff was very friendly and offered samples of anything I wanted to try. I will definitely be returning to Jeni’s.

Who sent you here? Someone’s mind and mouth ha just been stimulated for a small price. We love Jeni’s ice cream. This was the first location we ever visited, since trying many others. Although our first visit has been some years ago, I was surprised I never shared my thoughts. Bryant hosted a Unilocal Elite invitation event to taste some of Jeni’s new flavors, before they go public tomorrow. A free ice cream tasting is hard to refuse. Ice cream, sorbet, or yogurt. They have it all. This is true Food Network kind of food. Complex favors designed with spice, floral, fruit, vegetable… WAIT! Before you look away because it’s foo foo, I urge you to go, so you know. This is a place that encourages you to sample to your hearts content. The staff is very friendly. Names, colors, flavors, recipes, and the sure reflection of people’s reactions will indices you to try a few. Then a few more. Maybe just one more. Now you narrowed it down to 2, maybe 3 favorites. They serve mini scoops. So a small is 2 scoops. Medium is a Trio, and so on. I know that’s a lot of money for those tiny scoops, but you can mix and match. Now you get your scoops and pay with a little sticker shock. Here’s where it kicks in. You taste the dessert. You talk about the dessert. You remember the dessert. Now when did you ever pay so little, for so much stimulation, that made you talk about it to others? You are probably looking at this because someone else was talking about it. Remember that free ice cream invite? Start Unilocaling, and you can have these experiences too.

Since I’m between finishing business and stopping to visit daughter’s family in Bexley, why not a short enjoyable break! If you have not tried Jeni’s yet I have one question for you! WHY? Although not C’Bus resident, there is a Jeni’s near home(Charging Falls, OH) and our vacation spot(Charleston SC), so its a must! Don’t hold back, try a wide variety of different flavors all of which will bring you back to your childhood, enjoying fresh ice cream! You’re welcome for this recommendation!

Jeni’s certainly doesn’t need any more reviews, but I’ll add to the raves. When I lived in Columbus,(about 10 years ago) I wasn’t a big Jeni’s fan. A few years later some awesome friends sent us 3 pints on dry ice for a gift, and I was converted! On my recent visit to Columbus, Jeni’s was on our short list of places we HAD to go. Obviously, the ice cream is amazing. Although, since I’m a little lactose intolerant, I appreciate how smooth and delicious the sorbet is. Yes, it’s pricey, but totally worth it.

Our floats and sundae were all delicious — rich, deep flavors in the ice creams and the extra-bitter hot fudge was incredible! The service was absolutely lovely as well!

I don’t even know what to say about this place that hasn’t already been said in the media or in previous reviews. They are amazing. The folks slinging ice cream are amazing. The restaurants are amazing. The ice cream is amazing. The prices aren’t so amazing, but it is worth every dime. My favorites are the goat cheese & cherry, brambleberry, and brioche & jam. I love that they allow you to sample as many as you would like since they are such unique flavors. I love that Jeni’s is expanding across the country wildly, but seems to be holding things down in Columbus and not allowing the business to slip. I recommend them to everyone I know!

We all know how I love my ice cream by now. I’m basically on a mission to eat all the best ice cream and frozen yogurt and deliciousness in the area. I’m no stranger to Jeni’s either, obviously. This location is smaller than some of the others, but the staff is still friendly and the décor pleasant. In the warmer months they have a nice, though small patio you can sit on while enjoying your choices.

This was my first time checking out this Jeni’s spot, and even though I’d just ate way too much food at Moshi next door, I thought ice cream sounded like a great idea, especially with the single digit weather. I’ll start off by saying that I like Jeni’s, but I’m not completely in love with it like the rest of our city. I can appreciate the flavors and do enjoy most of them, but some can be a bit too much for me. I’m a Graeter’s person, so that may explain it. Either way, I did enjoy my Askinosie Dark Milk Chocolate and the Goat Cheese with Red Cherries. They were both very tasty, even if the portions sizes are a bit tiny. The guys working the counter were very helpful in answering a few of my questions, but they were hovering a bit too much when we were looking at the different flavors, shadowing my every movement. My girlfriend and I were the only two people in the place; let’s chill out a bit. All-in-all they were still very friendly, and I appreciate them wanting to offer me samples of everything. Jeni’s may not be my first option, but if I’m craving ice cream and looking to try something funky and different, I know where to find it.

Favorite flavors: — Dark Chocolate — Goat cheese + red cherries — Wildberry lavender — Lemon + blueberries(seasonal) The quality of Jeni’s ice cream surpasses many other restaurant or store-bought brands, made with fresh, hand-picked ingredients and local milk from Snowville Creamery. The flavors have a weird way of working well together, no matter what they put out on display… I remember an «olive oil + pepita + sea salt» flavor and a «zucchini bread» flavor they had. It’s the epitome of a successful central Ohio establishment that takes risks and doesn’t apologize! I love the Bexley shop because I can bike straight here from my parents’ house, and it’s not quite as busy as the downtown locations. The staff is generally friendly and will accommodate to your(many) taste curiosities. But I think the REAL stars are the ice cream sandwiches at Jeni’s — the chocolate hazelnut is to die for! The only setback is they’ve raised their prices almost every year, but hey, you gotta do what you gotta do, right? I’ve always supported Jeni, shop, store, or online, and recommend everyone to try, although it’s hard to find anyone who HASN’T tried it yet!

Made fresh with seasonal ingredients, sourced locally? Come on, how can I not give Jeni’s five stars! I love their creations — you can’t get anything like it so close to home. Jeni’s is Jeni’s. So no matter the store you’re in, it’s the same high quality taste and texture. Now, this was my first venture into the Bexley location, and I must say, I like it a bit better than the original brick and mortar in the Short North. Why, you ask? Size and lighting. This joint has more sitting space. A longer line can form here, thus servicing my customers as they sample the goodies. The bright hanging lights made me more apt to sit and relax, while downing my two scoops. Duh Gwen: What flavors did you get?! Two new ones: 7 Layer and Apricot. Son of a monkey, they were irresistible! The 7 Layer’s sweet, yet salty, undertones, big nuts and chunky chocolate — savored every darn bite! The Apricot had a home goo mixed in(a homemade preserves perhaps?) that was just enough to keep me scooping more in. Besides the outrageous ice cream, the two gentlemen working behind the counter were very polite. Had a great sense of humor and sarcasm. Me and my friend were the only customers in the shop, and we didn’t feel awkward at all :)

I was in Columbus this weekend, so of course, I had to stop at a Jeni’s. I like this location because it’s larger, and has more flavors. This time I went with the almond brittle and brambleberry pie. I also really liked the seven layer bar. I’m not a fan of salted caramel, but if that’s your thing, it’s very popular. The dark chocolate is so rich. I love how fresh the ice cream is, and the unique flavors.

Delicious! If you’re in the mood for more out-of-the-box flavors, Jeni’s is the place. However, it’s on the pricey end in terms of just getting a scoop, but it’s handcrafted and worth it. A great place to take out-of-towners to showcase some Cbus goods!

Everything here is amazing. I come two or three times a week. Try the goat cheese and red cherries(it’s awesome, promise) or the blueberry and lemon for something lighter. They change flavors a lot so it’s always fun to see what they have.

I think this is my favorite Jeni’s location. Maybe because it’s nice and spacious. But probably because I can ride my bike up the bike trail from my house, and make myself feel better about getting a trio. Or a sundae with all the added stuff. Who cares? It’s Jeni’s and you’re gonna get the best ice cream EVER no matter what location you go to! I tried three new flavors on my most recent visit: Savannah Buttermint, Banana French Toast, and the Peach Jam flavor(I forget the whole name). Holy Crap! They were all so freaking fantastic! I usually get at least one of my go-to flavors, but I branched out because I couldn’t say no to any of them after trying these three. Summatime is on the wayyyy!
