Polan Benjamin L DMD

Mixed ratings are averaged here because I think Dr. Polan is excellent, definitely 5 star. He is professional, kind, and up to date in all aspects of care — great characteristics for a dentist. He has responded to my emergency needs with same day service and I am thankful for that.
One star only for his office staff, My concern, the one that finally made me quit him, is why does he tolerate such poor work ethics and surly service skills from his desk staff? Every request is an imposition, every response is snarky. Want insurance coverage information? Do it yourself, the office manager told me, after she put me off for a month, telling me it was too difficult to reach the insurance service line (they picked up on the first ring for me, even when I selected the provider option).
All to say, his staff create barriers to this excellent dentist. They make it too much of a struggle to actually use his services. After my husband waited for months for his estimates he finally transferred his dental needs to a nearby practice, and now my son and I have followed him there.

I have never had so much fun at the dentist. It was quick enjoyable and painless. Possitive attitudes from avery single employee. I had a conversation with each one. I will never see anyone else ever.
