History

Established in 2014.

Perception Prime Flight School is a new entity at Beverly Municipal Airport, jus north of Boston. The owner, Paul Beaulieu, is an experienced pilot and educator who has observed that too many schools focus too much on the raw, rote level skills and not enough on the development of the decision-​maker, the pilot.

As a result, Paul has developed a system that focuses on living «the life of a pilot» as the main thrust. In the FAA it’s called «SBT: scenario based training,» and it works!

I fulfill many roles in my life: Certificated Flight Instructor, Pilot, Business Owner, and Friend. My value in each is related to the sum of my experiences and skill sets. When I am successful at gaining the trust of a colleague, friend, or student I am in a position to guide or travel with them wherever they may want to go or to whatever they may want to accomplish.



In my role as a CFI, I have the serious responsibility of covering a package of knowledge and guiding a pilot through the development of skill sets that will save his and his passengers’ lives many times over.



In my role as a pilot I am accountable to the safety and well being of my passengers, other pilots, and those who travel below.



In my role as a Business Owner I do everything in my power to enhance client satisfaction and empower my employees to do the same.

As a friend, I endeavor to understand the needs of those whom I care about and to give myself to those pursuits.
