Glorious, heavenly, divine. Take your pick. This spa is beyond words. I felt as if I had been transported to a retreat on the Far East. Every aspect was beautiful & harmonious. The transition room was lovely, the massage table felt like a tempur pedic mattress. You could tell that this isn’t just a job for Dawn. This felt more like a calling. I cannot wait to go back.

Words can not begin to describe a facial or any body treatment at BodiScience, it really must be experienced. It goes without saying that I know my treatment will be pampering and luxurious as many spa treatments are, but it is truly the «experience» from how you are greeted when you step in the door, to feeling «special» and «cared for» through the entire 60 minutes or more. Concluding my 60 minute treatment with a hot cup of tea, a warm neck pillow and wonderful conversation with the owner, Dawn made my day today. Thank you Dawn for creating this sanctuary.

Got the Above and Beyond Facial with Allison yesterday. Included is a foot soak and massage, a back, head and arm massage, and a facial. This was the best spa treatment I have EVER head. I have never been so relaxed. Afterwards, Allison brought me tea and a warm shoulder wrap in their relaxation room. I will be back. Allison was wonderful.

I had the most amazing experience today here at Bodiscience! These women who work there are the perfect ladies to make you feel as relaxed and important as possible.
Right when I stepped in the door, they greeted me with such a warm welcome and was in awe at how beautiful the place was. The massage itself was unreal, i got the full body as a giftcard for Christmas. These women truly know what they’re doing! It is not like a regular chain massage place, here they practice holistic massages that get in touch with your inner body using oils and relaxing music.
After my massage, which was incredible, they sent me to the «transition room» where they greeted me with a warm cup of tea and a nice heating neck pad.
I really am feeling amazing right now! The oils they suggest that you keep on your body for atleast 24 hours are extremely relaxing and rewarding. I am definitely giving this 5 stars and recommending it to everyone I know!!! I truly felt like royalty my entire experience!

I just returned from an Ayurvedic Face Rejuvenation at Bodiscience. I wanted to try something different from a typical Swedish massage and thought their menu of services looked interesting.
The atmosphere was welcoming, relaxed, and respectful. From my greeting to the other interactions that I observed, the entire staff seemed extremely genuine and warm.
My treatment itself was amazing, very customized based on the conversation I had with Dawn after she brought me back to my treatment room. She took her time and followed up with recommendations specific to my needs. I left after a nice cup of team and a warm neck wrap, feeling perfect.
The best compliment I can give is that this is the first spa I have ever been to that I pre-​booked another appointment before I left. Spectacular.

A month or two ago I reached out to an esthetician friend due to a sudden flare up of skin issues. She recommended that I come in to see her for a facial at Bodiscience, and I am so very happy that I did.
Upon arrival, I was greeted courteously by the front desk staff, who took my jacket, and directed me to the ladies room. After this, I was brought into a serene and calming waiting area where I was able to choose a place to sit and enjoy my quiet time while filling out some history forms and waiting for my therapist.
My therapist Chanelle came in to greet me a few moments later with a beverage of ionic minerals and blueberry flavor for me to enjoy. This helped to enhance my mood and state of well being throughout my full spa visit.
A short time later, I was brought into the room for my facial. The experience began with changing into the most comfortable robe I have ever put on. I am not exaggerating here — I have been to some incredibly expensive and luxurious spas over the years, but this robe takes the cake. I want one for at home!
Then, I was treated to a soothing foot ritual, and had a short consultation with my therapist, followed by moving over to the table for my facial, which was out of this world.
Honestly, throughout the entire experience, I was consistently told what was happening, and what would be happening next. I was pampered with warmth, massage, and wonderful smelling treatments, and I felt more calm and relaxed than I have in years.
When it was all over I really didn’t want to go home! Anyway, I want to share with you all that while my therapist was also a friend, what I felt was so amazing is that Chanelle was utterly professional during my entire visit to Bodiscience. She treated me like any other client, and I was able to separate myself entirely from our relationship outside the spa and allow her to pamper me, without any of the usual awkwardness I find when receiving spa treatments from friends/​acquaintances. Chanelle truly has a knack for pampering people, and truly cares about her clients, and it shows.
For my part, the only small bits of feedback I have, which kept me from rating this experience a 5 star, are that finding the spa, and the entryway are a bit off-​putting. Obviously I realize that location isn’t something that can be changed at the drop of the hat, but the first impression of the spa from the outside leaves a bit to be desired.
Also, I found it a bit overwhelming to think through the skin care and health care products recommended by my therapist while in such a highly-​soothed state. Maybe this is just me, and I don’t have a suggestion for a better time to suggest products to clientele, but I had trouble thinking through what I may or may not want when I was so blissfully relaxed (and ready for a nap).
All in all, I say that with a few small tweaks Bodiscience could be 5 stars in no time… and I like forward to monitoring the continued success on future visits.

I have gone here several times and every time is just an AMAZING experience. I try to get here once a month with my mom (who has been going here for many many years!) and just find a day to relax.
From the moment you walk in and unplug yourself (literally turning off your cell phone, which is hard for me!) and step into their transition room, it is the most relaxing feeling. All the staff is extremely professional and Dorothy is simply the best! She knows her stuff when it comes to skin care and your well being. I have started using some suggested skin care products and my skin feels so much better!
I have been to many spas in the area, and also internationally, and I can say that this place is one of the best! If your looking to get pampered, go here!

So I just read Jenn’s review and I could not have written it better! This place is unprofessional and the staff is catty. You can feel it while you are there. Going «spa hopping» is what I do and I’ve been to the best and the worst… Bodiscience is the WORST! Not only is it through the roof expensive, they just just measure up. After our treatments were over my friend and I exchanged thoughts on out experience. The sheets on my table were not so soft and very stained, hers were very soft and «perfect» she said. We later found out the owner (whom she had her treatment with) uses different sheets that the employees!!! Who does that?! The product they use is nice and smelled good but it was rationed out so it was barely noticeable on my skin. Honestly, if you can’t afford to run the place, just close up shop and stop wasting customer’s time and money.

I came to Bodiscience regularly for a while, but recently I’ve concluded that the prices are better suited to a once-​in-​a-​while splurge rather than regular maintenance.
The atmosphere and décor are thoroughly relaxing and feng shui. Dawn, the owner, has an amazing quality about her that immediately puts you at ease. Make an appointment with her if possible.
One of the other practitioners had a more abrasive attitude, and in my treatments she would up-​sell and try to convince me to have more/​different treatments. Her methods was more condescending than I would have liked. For instance, during a waxing treatment, she looked at my nails and told me I needed a manicure – badly – which, personally, I don’t think I do, nor do I care. Somehow that seed of doubt was planted, though, and I made an appointment for a manicure. I wasn’t quite satisfied with her shaping job, and the paint was chipping off before the week was out.
Anyway, that’s my one negative anecdote. Don’t let it scare you off, but I would recommend one of their other treatments.

I have lived in MA since 2001 and have searched exhaustively for a nice day spa. Yesterday I may have found it here. It is hard to impress me since I lived for a long time in Denver and Phoenix, with access to world class destination spas.
So, when I read the reviews on this site, I was hopeful — but did not want to elevate my hopes too much since I have been greatly disappointed by other area spas/​glorified salons, before.
I called and spoke with Dorothy, who greets customers with a warm voice oozing in empathy. I explained I had a really bad day and just needed a little pampering — and she had an opening for a massage. With the appointment made I ventured over to the office building. It was confusing to me because I had never been to the massive, mostly medical, complex… but Dorothy had explained I should go in by the New Horizon’s Day Care center, which proved to be the best suggestion with an easily identified landmark.
I was a little early so I indulged in a grilled cheese and tomato soup across the parking lot at the Gold Coast Café — it was EXACTLY what I needed… then into the door, just a few steps down the hall and into the inviting office/​spa.
I was a little concerned going in that the fact it was actually an office complex might distract me. Accustomed to «spas» on Newbury/​Back Bay locations, or in settings which are seemingly more soothing — I wondered how a site probably best suited for a doctor’s office would perform as a day spa. My concerns were immediately dispelled when Dorothy opened the first set of doors to reveal the space beyond.
You are first greeted by a small chair massage area (not in use during my visit) and then four or more pedicure stations (three in use during my visit). The atmosphere was almost solemn, and the women in the chairs receiving treatments seemed to be in another world, without so much as a glance up to see me pass to the waiting room.
I was given a form to complete and allowed to do so in a well appointed, cozy waiting room. The space was cozy but not claustrophobic as the suite had replaced the wall that was probably there prior with a glass panel, so someone waiting could see the activity beyond the room, but still relax in the low lighting and music of the lounge. Dorothy also brought me a «lavender collar» to help me reach a little more relaxation — which was a hot and slightly heavy «collar» with a heavy but not distracting scent of soothing lavender.
My treatment began with a sample of aromatherapy scents; me choosing which we would use with my eyes closed… each corresponding to whatever my body needs… I chose the one which evidently signifies I am «in transition». The oil therefore should help to «balance and calm» me when added to the massage oil.
My main complaint with other area spas, and in fact all spas — is noise. Here there is a reverence that I have never found even in five-​star spas in Scottsdale. The staff speaks in a whisper — doors are closed with care not to make a sound, and carpet throughout assures that any footsteps are muffled. There are no passing conversations in the hallway to distract the patron from the service at hand. The massage itself was nurturing and fantastic. Not the deepest massage — which I think some practitioners equate with «good» but rather a nurturing treatment with attention to energy flow, pressure points and relaxation. If only I did not have to re-​enter the world when it was over I could have remained in a state of bliss and overall body mushiness.
Dressed and despising the thought of going into the world again, I was given a choice of herbal teas, allowed as much time as I wanted in the lounge to sip and complete my relaxation and then make my way to the front whenever I was ready — of course, I was never «ready» but I did eventually saunter up to pay and eventually leave.
I have read here and in North Shore magazine that the facials are amazing, which I will try on another, better planned visit. I can say that I will be back.
My only complaints, and they are very small — but it wouldn’t be one of my reviews without them — are: If you have to go to the bathroom, it is a shock to your system — the entire space is in muted colors with low lighting — the bathroom is that of a doctor’s office and kind of jolts you back to reality — I don’t want reality — I want to stay in my cocoon. Also, the music is different in the massage room v. the outer rooms — and you can hear the conflict which is MILDLY distracting — it would be better if either the massage room music was louder to drown out the other music, or they were in sync. To my earlier point — I also wish the entry point/​retail portion of the spa was also a little more muted in color and lighting — which I understand may be difficult to do with the standard lighting of an office park. Finally, I wish the chairs in the lounge reclined even slightly.
Overall — fantastic.

All of the staff here really go «above and beyond» as is the name for their signature treatments. The Above and Beyond treatments are a little more pricey than the runnof the mill facials, pedicures, manicures, but all are well worth it! Time is taken to pamper the body and spirit. Product selections are meticulously researched and chosen for specific purposes (Gehwol foot creams and powders, Caren Wellness hand lotions, and Spa Ritual Nail Polishes) to expose the body to the best nourishment possible and avoid introducing toxins. I am always impressed each time I try something new here.
