I loooove this joint!!! Tanae Coates is by far the best! Aka «Tay»! She knows what to do no need to get crazy! She makes the natural look unreal! No one can tell you weren’t born with them!!! That’s my experience! Go for it! It’s a GAME CHANGER!!! U Tay!!!

Just wanted to add an update — I usually come to Winxed see the amazing Angelina for brows (see my previous review if you’re in need of a fantastic brow sculptor), but I decided to take the plunge for lash extensions this Halloween (I usually get false lashes applied on special occasions, but by the end of the night, they’re always falling off, and I’m super clumsy with lash glue, so it’s a lose-​lose all around). Lash extensions seemed like the best bet — no gluey masses around my eyelid, and no worrying about my lashes falling off!
I came in yesterday to see Themba for my extensions. She has an awesome personality — super sweet and funny. We reviewed what I wanted (something in between dramatic and natural, and curled, since my lashes are pin straight). The entire process takes a while (about an hour). But it’s so worth it! Themba did the most amazing job — it looks like I was just blessed with super long, curly lashes. They don’t look fake at all. I even got complimented by the nurses today at my doctor’s office about my «gorgeous» lashes — they thought they were real! Of course I had to confess that Winxed is responsible for my pretty new peepers. They couldn’t get over how «natural» they looked.
Highly, highly recommend this lovely studio and Themba for lash extensions! Whether you want a little extra «oomph» for a special occasion or just want your lashes to be a bit more enhanced, this is your spot!

Themba is an eyelash goddess! Precise and perfectly done lashes. She is beyond fantastic at achieving the look you’re going for! Not to mention the most gentle application that flew by time wise.

I have been going to Tay for the last 6 years and she is just awesome! She is careful and takes good care of her customers. I always enjoy my visit with her, she is cool and easy to talk to, never try to sell you anything. I won’t go anywhere else and I get lots of compliments on my lashes. Although he has lots of celebrity clients, she takes of me like a superstar!

I was totally new to eyelash extensions but got taken care of amazingly well by Themba. To say she went out of her way to accommodate my schedule would be an understatement. I’ll be back. Often.

I don’t know if it was luck, fate or the raving reviews across the internet that brought me to Winxed (formerly Blink 360), but I’m pretty sure it’s all of the above… Well, that and the fact that my previous lash lady constantly overbooked herself and couldn’t accommodate my appointment, but I’m so thankful for that inconvenience now because I didn’t realize that the Novalash lashes that she was using were ripping out my natural lashes.
Anyways, when I first called them in a pinch on Christmas Eve last year, I spoke to Tay and tried to initially book with her because of all her amazing reviews… not only was she incredibly friendly and genuine over the phone, but she did everything she could to accommodate my last minute desperate request because of the holidays. Although she was completely booked that day (understandably), she offered to squeeze me in with her sister, Themba, whom she assured me was just as good as her because she had trained her personally… well, she was right and I’m so glad she set me up with her because Themba is AMAZING and was able to get my skimpy lashes fuller than I ever had them before or imagined that they possibly could be. Also, the special lashes they use are so soft, light, and natural looking/​feeling (unlike the wiry, too fake-​looking Novalash) and they don’t rip out my natural lashes AT ALL… In fact, they have actually grown back since I started going to them and I’ve also gotten more compliments than I ever have before.
These ladies are incredibly lovely, genuine, extremely accommodating and so much fun to be around… I absolutely adore them both and I thank whatever force it was that brought me to them. I would rate their service and skills with 10 stars if I could and I will never go anywhere else ever again!

Tay and Temba are absolutely incredible. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my lashes. I’ve been coming here for close to two years now and it is by far the best and most affordable service in town. Highly professional, efficient, and a joy to work with, Tay and Temba are the absolute best in the business. Not to mention the salon is clean and beautiful! If you’ve never been here, you’re missing out! Call them and book now because these girls get really busy, especially around awards season.

I love this place! Themba is awesome! She can always fit me in last minute when I have a red carpet event. She is very personable and I actually enjoy her company as much as I love her amazing work! She does an amazing job. Everyone thinks my lashes are my own and tell my how beautiful they are! Blink 360 uses a unique technique that no other lash bar I have found is aware of so they look natural! I highly recommend!

If you are seeking natural looking lashes that are FLAWLESS than you MUST see Tay! I’ve had the lashes that make you look like the blinking baby doll «MAMA!» OMG why would anyone want that? Tay makes your lashes look oh nat-ur-al…when people don’t ask you «Are those your lashes?» that is success! Not only does she provide the BEST lashes ever (because I am hooked), but her service is above superb. I have been in managment for 20 + years and am a firm believer that service is the key to the success of any business. And Tay has this down to a science without any effort. She is friendly, courteous of your time and will not let you walk away unhappy. This is an AMAZING experience one should try at least once… I guarantee you will not be disappointed. Well unless you like the lashes that are so heavy you can’t hold your eyes open, lol! TRY Tay, you’d be amazed!

So i had lash extensions done by someone else and within a week i wasn’t happy. They were to heavy for my eyelids i felt like a cow or a cartoon it just didn’t suit my face and i wanted them off after a week.
So i search google and found Blink 360 i found up and Tay called my back and was really help and promptly fit me in to have them removed by her sister (they both do lashes) i met Themba at the salon and she was so friendly welcoming and totally understood and understood my fears with prompting. Themba was friendly it was like getting your eyelash done with a girlfriend. She was professional, instructed me every step of the way what she was doing and how long it would take. After i had them removed she informed me of products not sold by them on how to improve my lashes and look. I was curious how blink did lashes and she showed me without it feeling like a sales pitch.
I still want to get extension and i know this is the place i’m going to be coming back to get them done when i have the money. Highly recommend these ladies.

OMG! My lashes are so amazing! I get compliments where ever I go! Even the valet noticed how «sexy» they look. I highly recommend Blink 360. They always squeeze me in for an appointment. I had previously been to someone else who did a horrible job and I was afraid to try lashes again. I was totally reassured and made to feel comfortable and I am so glad I did. Have you ever met someone and instantly hopes it works out, because you know you can love that person forever and ever? Well that’s how I felt when I met Tay. Yes, its quite an exaggeration, but she’s THAT GOOD.
*Service: During my first visit Tay was very welcoming. She explained/​showed me different eyelash lengths, mink vs synthetic lashes, c-​curl vs i-​curl, process and after care. Although I wasn’t an extension newbie, it was really helpful and comforting receiving this information; especially since other extension business Ive visited never bothered providing me this information. New customers receive eye make up remover and mascara wands for home care. Ive been a client since May 2012 and her service is constantly good. Lashes last between 2 – 3 weeks.
*Price: Prices vary per lashes used. First set *starts* at $ 125 and fills *starts* at $ 70. Once you’re a regular prices are set for every visit.
*Ambiance: Her new location (see address below) is located in a nail salon. Tay has her own room. The salon is very clean and spacious.
Overall Tay is the best in the business. She has a large celeb clientele (which she’s pretty discrete about). She’s moving up in the business. Although she’s always busy she’s loyal to her regulars and always finds a way to accommodate an appointment. Highly recommend becoming a regular with her before she hits the big time.

I absolutely love Tay. She not only does an excellent job on eyelashes, she is friendly and down to earth. This is refreshing since a lot of people in the beauty industry become so HOLLYWOOD. Tay is very accommodating and her prices are extremely reasonable given her A+++ service. So, if you want fabulous, funky, sexy or any other positive adjective to describe eyelashes then go see TAY. You will not be disappointed.

I have been going to Tay for maybe a year and a half. My lashes are very natural looking. I can not live without them. I receive many compliments from them. They last at least a month. I see Tay every month for touch ups. She is very accommodating with appointments. She makes you feel at home and I don’t feel like I’m just a customer. :)

Tay is absolutely amazing!!! She is the sweetest ever and the BEST with my lashes. I am referring ALL my friends that are addicted to lashes! I waited a long time to get my lashes done and am so glad I did because I was referred to Tay… I won’t go to anyone else! Lashes look natural and beautiful and last!

I don’t let anyone else touch my lashes but Tay! I always call her when it’s time for a lash party because she does an amazing job and knows what each girl wants and doesn’t over do. Tay doesn’t just offer awesome service, she’s very personable and very sweet.

Taynay is seriously great. I have gone to other people before who did not know what they were doing, but Taynay knows exactly what she is doing and does it well. I have been going to her faithfully for over a year and eyelashes are flawless. I have also referred over 4 of my co-​workers to her as well and they have all had positive feedback. I can ASSURE you this is worth it!

Taynay does amazing work with eyelashes! I have tried a few different places around LA and she has been the best!!! Her lashes can look as natural or glamorous as you want. This flexibility is useful for me… depending on what events I have coming up. Its also a bonus that she’s such a sweetheart… her kind and mindful nature is evident through the beautiful precision in her work.

My favorite eyelash lady recently moved to San Diego, and I was so desperate that I made the 4 hour roundtrip to get my lashes done. I’m a lashaholic. But I can’t make that trek every time. Have been looking for someone as good here in LA, and have been to a ton of places. I’ve been the Goldilocks of eyelash extensions! I’ve tried Longmi Lashes (too expensive), someone who uses Novalash lashes (too fake), a place that puts a cluster of lashes on each lash (really full look, but too clumpy and heavy), and a place where too many lashes started falling out the first week.
I’m Asian, and my nonexistent lashes are really weak and short. Not the easiest to work with. But Tey at Blink 360 is the only one that can almost match my favorite technician. I asked for natural but full, and Tey does an amazing job! No one can tell I have on extensions. She is so accommodating in terms of scheduling, and has late hours if you work during the day. Her prices are reasonable and so far, my lashes have stayed on for at least two weeks. As Goldilocks says, this place is just right. :)

One word… AMAZING!!! I have been getting eyelash extensions for 2 years now, and have probably been EVERYWHERE in LA, so please believe, I know what I am talking about! It has been a little over two weeks and not one eyelash has fallen out. She uses a clear glue so no clumping, I can actually comb through my eyelashes! She doesn’t put more than one extension per lash, like many others do and will eventually cause your eyelashes to fall out, and the products are kick ass!!! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DON’T BOTHER GOING ANYWHERE ELSE! I’ll pay the bill if you aren’t addicted! (lol, um j/​k, but seriously, if you are looking to have them done, let my lesson and waste of money to other places be your learning experience) You are the best Taynay!
