First don’t listen to complains, there were always negative people around.
Second if you want to do something with your life, this would be a big step.
Think and choose wisely

Ridiculous wait times, and it seems like the front office staff doesn’t want to be there. The ultrasound was pretty quick and the doctor was nice.

For God’s sake, can you fix your INTERNET already??? Why is this still a problem? It’s so easy to do! And stop saying others use phone wi-​fis, get unlimited internet for your students!

I attended west coast ultrasound for the adult and pediatric programs. The amount of information I receive from these courses is a lot more then I expected and really prepared me for work in the ultrasound field. It helped that you could take courses on the weekends or during the week depending on what works best for you.

I attended both the adult and pediatric Echo programs here, and felt I got a strong education in both. It was tough, but you get out what you put in. There are plenty of opportunities for hands-​on practice and tutoring if needed. My teachers Dr. Nasir, Dr. Luo, Rob, Karen, and Lili were all fantastic and truly knew the material they taught. I was able to start working right away and have now been in my field for over five years and loving it. I’m so grateful! I couldn’t imagine doing anything but Echo.

Wcui is a great school. Kurt Johannessen is a great guy! He is very helpful and always has a smile on he’s face. Keep KURT forever!

I attended this school and finished the program in MRI last december. I have to say that the school seems to be all about making the students happy. They showed me a list of over 100 clinical sites that they have for ultrasound MRI and nursing and said I could work to get into the one I wanted. I was able to get into a UCLA affiliated clinic thanks to them helping me. I got good grades but I was not the best in the class, and I did not kiss anyone’s butt because I HATE doing that. They may be known for their awesome ultrasound program but I found the quality and level of MRI instruction and class material to be top notch, and I passed my ARMRIT on the first try. I am now working part time at a few MRI sites in Los Angeles, and have WCUI and Dr. Behrouz to thank for all of my success so far. WCUI is the best kept secret in town for this type of schooling! Now if they could just get more parking;)

I’m a current student in the Dms program. I would recommend this school. Make sure your ready to give this program 100% of your time. I’ve been lucky to have some amazing teachers. Fariba takes her knowledge and patience to make sure I’m a great scanner. I’m so grateful for her. Whenever I don’t feel confident, Fariba makes me feel like I can grow as a scanner

I am very satisfied with this school and teachers. Every one is very helpful, teachers and lab instructors are great! Fariba is my favorite lab instructor. She goes above and beyond our expectations by making sure we truly understand the material and perform the tests properly.

For a long time I was attending two different community collages and was meet really satisfied by any of the teachers or schools. Nonetheless I didn’t know what I was doing at those schools.
I’ve always been interested in the medical field but never took the time to look into. One of my friends had came to this school and attended the MRI program. She ended up loving this place and brought me around to one of the open labs.
So one day I decided to make an appointment, met with one of the administrators and they showed us around.
Since day one I’ve LOVED this school. I can’t not say enough how much I really do love this place and how EVERYONE is so kind and helpful! Being in a place that is welcoming is IMPORTANT to me because it opens me up to be more comfortable overall but most importantly asking for help when I need it!
I love ALL the teachers especially Cynthia and Derek! As well as Rob!
So I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

This school needs a clean up in staff. For the most part their teaching is okay. I would be nice if there was a little more communication with their students.

I had discounted ultrasounds at this facility & they were able to identify the thrombus in my subclavian vein. Although my vein was not fully obstructed I had pain & weird symptoms in my chest & left shoulder. None of my docs were sure about my symptoms, since they weren’t severe enough to them & I wasn’t swelling massively in the extremities, so I went & got this test done. Their vascular specialist, teachers & students were very nice.
I’m totally open as a patient to allow students to observe & learn. When I initially got diagnosed with TOS (thoracic outlet syndrome at UCLA), I was very open to medical students & residents sitting in on my case, b/​c true vascular & neurogenic TOS is not common in people WITHOUT a cervical rib. I was also not a Pitching/​Throwing athlete, swimmer, construction worker & had not sustained a blunt trauma to the collar area.
I figure educating new docs/​techs of tomorrow is important. I want them to be able to diagnose people properly-​even if they don’t fit textbook or generic scenarios. I got misdiagnosed at UCLA for 2 yrs prior to finally getting a special study MRA at UCLA.
I had atypical TOS & bilateral rib resection scalenectomy surgeries at UCLA Gonda vascular. UCLA identified scar tissue post surgery, in the right brachial plexus that was of course pre-​diagnosed on the MRA
I got this ultrasound at West Coast to follow up, b/​c my TOS symptoms were acting up big time & I wanted to know why. It felt more vascular, than neurogenic to me-​dizziness, pain, vein pressure.
I had a good experience. The staff was caring & they let me take breaks as needed during the testing. This is the place to go if you have limited insurance or no insurance & you need affordable medical care to diagnose a prob.

Great school for education teachers are actual field experts with degrees and potential. But only reason I recommend this place and give it three stars is cause teacher help you understand the material very well so when I comes to the big test you do well.

I spend 32K in this joke of a school and got me nowhere but in debt. Teachers are all ultrasound techs without certifications that did not make it in the real world and were former students. If you have any medical questions, they will not know the answer and tell you to Google it. They would pass students who couldn’t even spell their name in English! They are only accretidited to be a school but not an ultrasound school. Most medical facilities will not hire you if you have graduated from this school. Once you graduate their career center completely ignore you, so do not think they will help you find a job. Since they do not have all their accreditations, you have to work for a year before you can have your license (ARDMS) and no one hires without being ARDMS
