This was one of the best hair dress experiences I’ve ever had! First off, I tried to fit the appointment into a very busy day I scheduled for myself. Unfortunately I was running late, so I called and they told me no problem. But I was also worried how long it would take since I made other engagements that day, but Vito assured me I will get out in time. When I walked into this place, I was amazed at how gorgeous it looked… such a great space! They have a patio waiting area and offer coffee, tea, water, etc. I kept thinking I would love to have a girls’ day here! They fit me in right away although I was late.
Vito was warm and welcoming and gave some recommendations about which color I should choose. After getting my color done, the assistant washed my color out, where I sat in this comfortable, massaging chair. So not only did I get a massage in the chair, but it felt like the assistant really took her time washing my hair. Now, I don’t know how you feel, but I LOVE it when people play with my hair, not to mention hair washing is my favorite part of getting my hair done! It’s so soothing! So, having the assistant spend extra long on washing my hair was such a treat!
After the oh-​so-​wonderful hair washing, Vito cut my hair. You can really tell he knows what he’s doing… his techniques were impressive!
Now, for my favorite part: the blow-​out! It was amazing! I’ve never had such a good blow-​out before. He has a blow-​out technique I’ve never seen! I won’t give out his secret, but you have to try it!
After all was done (thankfully, Vito kept his promise of getting me out in time for my next appointment), I felt gorgeous coming out of the salon. I felt he really listened to my instructions of how I wanted my hair and was so happy with the result. I will definitely be back!

finally! someone who gets it. i’m in love with new vito haircut. he completely transformed a botched razor that had left my hair looking worse than a cat’s fur ball. vito gave my smooth, shiny hair back to me.
i must say, just the ambiance alone of the salon {espressos on the terrace} was enough to sell me; cody couldn’t be nicer, and the scalp massage during my shampoo was world class.

I’ve been going to Vito since 2007 and let me tell you, there was never a time that I walked out dissatisfied. He knows what I want and does his best to accommodate my needs. Moreover if I walk into the salon without any idea he immediately comes up with the greatest style for me. I also had a haircut and color with Michele and he did an amazing job as well!
Location is great, parking is easy in Beverly Hills and they throw the best parties ever!
I know the prices can be a little above average but that’s what you pay for amazingly talented italian hairstylists and a spotless and extravagant location!

I am utterly impressed with not only the ambience, but the amazing staff (Cody especially) are consistently welcoming and make me feel at home while at Vito’s Salon. I have been enjoying my monthly cuts and styling for almost a year now, and am sure that I will be coming back for years to come. The salon is immaculate, everything clean and well-​spaced. Their outdoor terrace is extremely inviting as well. As for Vito, extremely professional and personable. He has a true passion and feels personally vested in every client.
In short, amazing and very happy I made the switch to Vito. Worth every penny and second of my time. And now I have a great excuse to make it out to Rodeo :)

Two of my girls and me came here with a Spabro deal and we don’t regret it! This deal included a haircut, shimmer and shine, makeup and facial services from DHM Aesthetics for only $ 60!
I didnt even end up getting my facials in time, but its okay because at least i got to enjoy Vito Esposito. Located above the bebe store on Rodeo Drive, its a pretty little place with a cute waiting area on the balcony. We didn’t wait too long, and during our wait the staff would always check on us and bring us water, helped us take pictures (haha) Cody was so helpful and attentive at all times, made scheduling very simple. And Mary… the lady that did my eyebrows was an absolute sweetheart that I would not mind having a drink with any day. They are all a funny and pleasant staff and I hope to come back again soon. The cut from Vito himself was also amazing, I felt pretty honored to get a haircut from him.

Vito is amazing! Not only did he give me an appointment for a haircut on short notice, he also took care of my highlights. The best highlights and cut I have had in a long time. He listened and delivered an amazing result.
While getting my highlights, I got a manicure, which is worth every penny and it stayed on for over a week, while at other places it starts chipping away after few days. The staff is very friendly.
Vito Esposito Salon is a hidden gem to be discovered.

I went to the salon after 2 days trying to do groupons and he saved me.
(I needed my hair just right because I am taking professional photos for business photos for my website/​etc. in a few days).
Why he’s the best!:
After leaving the 2+hr disaster at Louis Michael Salon I drove straight to Vito’s. I remembered it was a little pricey at his salon, but I loved it when I went to get a color and cut in November. I didn’t want to mess around with groupons after 2 days of disasters and just wanting my hair looking as good as it was when I first went to him. I didn’t regret a cent I paid in November, I guess I was trying to take a cheap short-​cut., which I will no longer repeat!
I walked in and Vito immediately tried to help. He had a full schedule but completely worked me in. He never made me feel like he was doing me a favor or as if I was second place because he took me in on the spot. I loved it! He consulted with me about how I wanted it. He told me I should fix the color (which I knew but didn’t want to spend too much). However since he knew that I just spent money on groupons, he completely helped me out by dropping his price for some highlights, toning down the blonde on my ends and a gorgeous cut. I was thrilled and felt I could breathe again! I left the salon and went home to right a review so everyone else can go to him. If you take my advise you will not regret it! And will only want to go to his salon.
The experience:
While I was there I ordered food, they offered me beverages and other women were enjoying wine while getting their beauty needs met. It was soooo much better then any other salon I have gone too. You don’t get that loud cramped and gossip-​y feel. His salon has a gorgeous terrace with an outdoor bar. When you get your hair washed you are literally completely reclined as if in bed with a massager built into the chair.
Also Vito always gives a blow-​out after you get your hair done… remember those days a few years back when you automatically knew if you went to the salon you would leave with a blow out without an extra charge. I could be wrong, but both times there, I was never asked to «add-​on» a blow out. I also noticed that everyone else in the salon got their hair dryed after their treatments as well. He does not short cut anyone.
FYI: It’s probably not the place you’ll be in and out in an hour, unless you getting make-​up, a mani/​pedi done or wanting to leave without blow-​drying your hair. Yes, yes… I know we are all busy but I have to say getting your hair done can be great if you schedule enough time in. I am a big «scheduler» and never think there’s enough time in the day. But I just know for now on to expect to spend time at the salon, especially if I’m getting color done. Plus I’d choose his salon atmosphere over any other one in a heart beat.
Towards the end of my hair appointment, a group of women came in, drank wine on the terrace as they took turns getting beautified. It was a girls night little party that Vito completely was open to. (I want to do it too!) I don’t know any other salon that is so inviting and open to fun :)
Other services I saw I’d like to try:
There’s a lady who does make-​up, which I would completely go to after seeing her do 4 different ladies (one red head with very fair complexion, and 3 brunettes; one of which had an olive complexion and one brunette was a medium to light skinned african american woman).
Another lady does manicures and pedicures. On my way out, in the elevator, I was told by the gentlemen who got his nails done that she’s the best and that he’s been going to her for 15 years!
What Vito rescued me from. in case anyone cares…
What I mean about 2 days of doing groupon-​ing:
Yesterday I tried to do a groupon now deal with Michelle from Giuseppe Franco salon yesterday and she literally shunned me away because I came 5 mins late and said that she has someone coming in 15 mins. I couldn’t believe how I was being treated and got teared up for a minute from shock. I then tried a groupon now deal again today with Rob F. from Louis Michael Hair Salon and was there for over 2 hours with the worst hair cut and worst blow dry. he guy used pantene pro v products. I only stayed because he was trying hard to do well. But when it got past 2 hrs I left with slightly damp hair looking worse than what I arrived with.

So… I never ever write reviews for anything on Unilocal.this is my absolute number one first review on this thing after using it for years. why does this salon get to take my review virginity?! well ill tell you… long story short, it took 2 and a half hours for a simple hair cut!
this salon has got to be one of the most unprofessional salons i have ever been to! i cannot believe it has the rating it has right now! it drives me crazy seeing this because this guy has no customer service or hospitality skills! i got a package deal over christmas where you may come in for a haircut and such offers. so the first time i went into the place, my appointment is at 3pm. i get there early at 2:50pm and they send me to wait in their waiting area which was actually nice because it is on the second story. the place looks decent, considering its on rodeo, if youre into the glitz and prestige of getting your hair done on rodeo then this will get you. so i wait and wait and wait, for over thirty minutes im sitting in that nice waiting area that doesnt seem as nice anymore after thirty minutes. what the hell is that guy doing?! there was only one other woman in the salon getting her hair done. No one else getting services except her. there are two stylists there. so i should be attended to by one atleast right?! no. my appointment was with the lead stylist Vito, who owns the salon. well… he was busy chatting away with the other woman trying to sell her on a new color which she clearly did not need. (she said she just freshly colored her blood red hair). there were times in which he wasnt even cutting! the second stylist was talking with the make up woman who was eating her lunch and doing her own makeup at the salon chair! Vito then takes me in after 30+ mins of waiting and rinses my hair. he then places me in one of the salon chairs and i sit and sit and sit and wait for the lead stylist to come cut my hair. but hes just standing there conversing with that woman still insisting she needs a color. (She said she just got the color done not even a week ago and only wanted a cut). HELLO?! are you not aware i have been sitting here long enough for my hair to dry completely?! when he finally comes, i get no apology. the other woman is just sitting there waiting to be blowdried. why didnt he finish her before moving onto me… So after her cut as she’s sitting there waiting to get blowdried and leave i hear him telling her again her bright red hair color is dull and that he can fix it. And from my eyes, the color was stunningly bright. the woman looks at me and then gives into him probably just so she can leave. Even after her saying yes, he then proceeds to trying to prove her wrong and insisted on him redoing it as «the smart thing to do». she gives in unwillingly again with a smirk… he will try to persuade you into other services and thinks hes always right! dont give in! so he finally cuts my hair and tries to chit chat with me but im already irritated and just want this done so i can leave. Vito is just finishing up and getting ready to blowdry my hair when another customer walks in and he walks away to do a consultation with her. Shes not even sitting down yet! do that consultation at the chair! he comes back and starts blowdrying my hair for not even a minute, sets down the blowdryer that is STILL ON!!! and he puts it not in the blowdryer holder, but on the slim counter! as it is blowing away i had to catch it so it wouldnt fall on the ground. he then goes back to the first woman to pick her color and instructs the second stylist who is still just sitting there talking, to blow dry my hair. after him blowdrying my hair for five minutes just shaking it making all these knots in my hair, he stops because that recent customer was his client. ok… im beyond it right now! i start to stare him down and tell him i have to go. by now it is already 2 hours, TWO HOURS! since i arrived. it does not take over TWO HOURS to cut my hair. keep in mind this does not include the 30+ minutes i waited prior my appointment, and all i wanted was a trim and my hair is shoulder length and fine. he then calls the receptionist boy over to blow dry my hair and he actually comes! He obviously has no training and i can tell by the way he holds my hair and the blow dryer. He picks up the blowdryer and blow dries until the phone rings (about two mins) in which he leaves to answer it. then i had to literally get up and talk to my stylist to ask him to finish blow drying my hair! total time from beginning to end, it took TWO AND A HALF HOURS for a simple haircut. no way…
i was so mad i didnt even want them to do the other services that came with the package and left.

*lesson: if you want to come here, expect to be sitting on your ass for most of the day bantering about nonsense.

What an experience! From the coffee when I arrived to the hugs when I left: o) Vito did my hair himself and its perfect! I had medium/​long hair and trusted him to chop it! He knew exactly what to do and it looks AMAZING! I got my hair highlighted and the color is perfect. It feels great and his product are wonderful. Mary did my eyebrows and gave me some amazing tips for filling them in. The whole experience was great, not to mention waiting for my color to process out on the beautiful outdoor patio was just what I needed. Thanks Vito!

To be honest, I haven’t been back since Sergio left! :(I’d found someone I trusted to do my hair (fabulously I might add) and for a price that felt fair to me, then he left to go back to Italy.
Love this Salon, but SERGIO come back!

Purchasing a Spabro gift certificate is what brought me to Vito Esposito Salon. I had no idea what the Salon was going to be like, but I was VERY pleasantly surprised. Everything went amazing. I got a warm welcome when I entered the salon, and they already knew my name. They brought me out to the patio which overlooks Rodeo from the 3^rd floor to offer me a drink, and look at my hair to decide what to do.
Vito himself did my hair, and did an amazing job at giving me the perfect cut without taking off too much length. I’ve had a hard time in the past getting the right cut, and I really liked how he did it. Having not planned on getting highlights, I decided to get them while at the salon, and I am very happy with them. They are the exact shade of blonde I was looking for, and make my hair look very bright and natural.
Overall I think the quality of this salon is amazing, and the staff is very talented!

I am big on aesthetics and I must say, I’m very impressed with this salon! Gorgeous! I’ve had a hard time finding the perfect stylist… its been a nightmare to be quite frank; however, the search is now over.
Many times when I’ve walked into a salon, I get this stuck up vibe from many stylists but not at this salon! Everyone was really nice and really catered to all clients.
I really appreciate people to pay attention to small details and from all that I’ve encountered at Vito Esposito, they are about class and presentation!

I love Vito. I always feel like a superstar when I leave. The cut is so great, I never even have to style it myself. He’s so cool and down to earth. The salon is beautiful.

I’ve gone through a series of bad to horrendous first hair dates… and now that I’ve met Xavier, I’ve finally taken myself off the hair market & have ended my search for the right soulmate stylist.
He’s the perfect equation of French chic, quirk, sass & hair wisdom. And most importantly, he’s attentive to your needs. I’m so meticulous about my cuts, from ends to bangs, and he listens and delivers. Which is all that any relationship — hair or otherwise — really needs ;)
The cherry: the salon is beautiful and feels intimate, and the rooftop terrace over Bebe is a hidden gem.

This is the best salon! The staff is amazing — and the salon is beautiful.
Iryna is a color genius. She gave me highlights, and I get endless compliments on how great and natural they look! She also is great at haircuts– and always giving me great ideas to try out.
Vito the owner is great too! One of my good friends went to him while I had an appointment with Iryna– and he did an amazing job.
Mary is a brow expert. I have never had such a painless waxing experience, not to mention the fact that my brows look amazing!
