Specialties
We offer turnkey hydroponics home garden vegetable systems. Our sustainable food solutions are off the grid green, efficient and optimized for small spaces.
We use organic growing techniques proven in both agricultural and urban settings. Thanks to automated irrigation and fertilization, maintenance is minimal (less than 2 hours per week in a 8×8 system) and no vegetable growing experience is required. Anyone can be an urban farmer and grow in practically any space that gets full sun.
The hydroponics vegetable growing systems can be installed on any flat surface, asphalt, concrete, dirt, grass, wood, sand, gravel, rooftop…
The clear polycarbonate greenhouse kits allow year round growing in most climate zones 5 and up.
Our goal is to put on organic vegetable gardens within reach of everyone. Now there is no more excuses not to grow your own vegetables.
History
Established in 2010.
The principals of this business have been in online sales since 2003. While looking for new green products to sell online, coco coir peaked our interest. We started working with PeleMix for their organic coco peat line Mr. Coco. Coco coir is a very interesting hydroponics growing medium. It’s made out of coconut husks that are actually the byproduct of the food industry. We liked it right a way, an efficient hydroponic growing medium that is organic, renewable, inexpensive and reduces trash and pollution.
Then we started talking about selling greenhouse kits and finally we decided that we would offer organic vegetable growing solutions to consumers and businesses within cities. We installed our first prototype in Santa Barbara, a 8×12 clear polycarbonate greenhouse with hydroponic gutters from Israel. The results were better than we expected, the greenhouse produced tomatoes in January, in Santa Barbara without using electricity.
