Established in 2010.

Opening my doors three years ago, my goal was to build my firm into what would be known as a première criminal defense practice in Beverly Hills, CA. Since then I have compiled a record any criminal defense firm would boast about. Only 3 clients have been remanded for post conviction jail or prison time. This includes clients charged with federal identity theft (facing 13 years, negotiated to 10 months home confinement), a client involved in a DUI accident with property damage and bodily injury (facing 3 years, negotiated to a civil compromise), and a third strike felony (facing double the maximum at 80%, negotiated to time served).

Mr. Chavez prides himself on his ability to negotiate a crisis. With his accomplished career as a court-​appointed mediator, his contract discussions for his entertainment clientele, and experience in the adversarial arena of criminal law, Ricardo A. Chavez, Esq. has been involved in the many different facets of intense negotiations.

He has an inherent ability to bring people together on agreements that are beneficial to all, especially when it first appears as though no settlement will be likely.

Mr. Chavez has published articles on mediation and public interest law. His professional and graduate education includes the field of law (J.D.) as well as public policy (Masters) from top-​ranked institutions. He is also a sought after CLE presenter on issues of criminal law with a growing expertise in plea withdrawal based upon ineffective assistance of counsel.
