Chill neighborhood pub with simple food and a nice selection of beers on tab for a good dinner or round of drinks. I got the goat cheese & arugula pizza and it was better than expected. I don’t go often enough!

Came in for lunch because I was waiting for an appointment nearby and had an hour to kill. It was 11:30am and the place was empty. I got the veggie burger and my husband got a regular burger with fries. Store bought buns, frozen patty and definitely frozen French fries. It made me think of those restaurant takeover shows. The server(an Asian guy) was friendly and prompt, but I wouldn’t go back because of the food.

This is a neighborhood bar with a solid menu and a friendly, down-to-earth staff. There’s nothing pretentious about this place and it’s regulars are a motley bunch of laid-back people who just want to chill and watch a game or have a chat with each other. Every dish I’ve ordered has been really tasty comfort food, from the caesar salad to the chicken marsala. Don’t come here if you like a rowdy crowd or snooty scene.

Not bad. Small place but the bartender was friendly and the drinks aren’t too bad price wise. Nothing in the way of atmosphere but I was there for a networking event so that doesn’t come into play. Right next to a theatre that specializes in older bands/performers so if you want to get liquored up on a bath tub mint julep before going to see Arthur Godfrey perform I’m a Lonely Little Petunia in an Onion Patch, this is the joint.

Just happened to walk by this place after a doctor’s appointment on Wilshire. Their lunch specials sign caught me. I was starving from having to fast for my lab tests. I’m glad I dropped in! The lunch specials were inexpensive. I ordered the chicken parmesan sandwich and traditional fries and they were SOGOOD and only $ 10. Everyone was super friendly but my waitress was a little dry and short with me. But the food came fast, the bartender was all smiles, the server was very sweet and who I believe to be the owner was hanging out and even greeted me when I came in. The environment was casual and fun. Some gentlemen sat next to my table I had to try not to laugh at their hilarious conversation. I liked that the bartender greeted them by name and already knew what beers and sandwiches they all wanted. A very pleasant experience!

I generally don’t like to post something negative. However — if I am served a 15.00 drink that isn’t what I ordered, and the server brings the bill, without offering to make it right, after I have(politely) pointed that out– then there is a problem. Mind you, this is after waiting 15 minutes to order in a nearly empty bar.

I’m rating this bar a three star only because of the great service we received from the hostess and servers, and the convenience of the location being next to the Saban Theater that we were going to the same night. The food gets a two star rating. I had the chicken sandwich and fries, wife had one of the few items for vegetarians(the veggie burger) and it was a patty, not homemade so that’s a thumbs down. The three Allagash drafts were $ 24 and one in our party ordered a margarita that she was really disappointed in. Had way too much mixer in it and cost $ 15. Our bill for three sandwiches, one salad and those drinks was $ 95 so yeah, it’s overpriced for what you get. But if you’re going to a show next door at the Saban Theater then it may be worth a visit because of the convenience. Parking is free on some of the side streets or you pay for the nearby lots. The nearby lots fees vary so do some research before leaving the house. OR Über if you’re gonna be drinking!

Great atmosphere but the food was only so so… Had the lamb burger and it was cooked just to my asking(medium rare) and even with the apple marmalade(?) it was still not as flavorful as one would like. That being said the price is spot on at only 10 – 12 a burger.

This place is very hit and miss and overpriced for what you get. The hamburgers are ok, nothing special. Tons of other places that offer better quality burgers. I just got a salad today for the first time, it was definitely not the Greek salad I expected. The chicken was not cooked correctly, I ended up throwing it away. I would not recommend anyone spend there money on food here.

Dive Bar, Beverly Hills prices. If you like overpriced drinks in small glasses filled with ice to the top than this is your place. $ 14 for a standard drink, this is not a mixologist concoction, this is the price for a standard rum and coke or vodka soda. $ 7 Coors Light in a bottle. When I complained about the prices they said they increase the prices when there is a show at the Saban Theater next door, otherwise the drinks are $ 12, which is still ridiculous for this type of joint. As if your night was not expensive enough with the show, the $ 10 parking, etc. you can have a sip of budget alcohol for $ 14. Go in the theater instead and enjoy your drinks in a nicer atmosphere or hit a nice Beverly Hills restaurant and get a real drink if you are going to spend $ 14. If you are desperate to eat, the bar food is decent and the burger will run you less than the drinks.

This is a down-to-earth place in the heart of Beverly Hills. We happened to drop in on this place because we had a about an hour to kill before an appointment. The place is very relaxed and it seems to attract like-minded patrons. They screwed up our order but they made good on it and got our food out in no time. I’m not crazy about the food but I’m assuming that most people come here to drink. The overall all feel I got made me like this place. I had the tuna sandwich and fries and it was a good portion for lunch. I didn’t want to eat too much and this was the right choice. The tuna was made with albacore and not the other cheap chunk stuff. The bread was fresh and the server(I forgot her name but she works in a tattoo shop in Hollywood) was super cool. She made the day! Looking forward to seeing you guys again!

This place was great! Parking really sucks. The food was so great and they had a very large variety of things to choose from. It was a bit on the crowded side but it WAS a Friday night. I went with my former boss and a couple of her work colleagues. We actually only stayed for drinks and appetizers. From what I saw it looked to be a fun place and the food smelled and looked great. The drinks were pretty cheap, and they had specials so I think most people come here just to drink. I thought it was good but I don’t think I would drive out of my way to come out here unless I was already close by and looking for a quick bite/drink. Seems like a good place to watch sports, since they do have a lot of TVs but I can also see it being too loud and crowded but sometimes that’s part of the fun.

Mostly overpriced drinks, mediocre food, small and narrow seating setup. Not an awful place but generally pretty disappointing. It had more flair when it first opened, and the food was better back then. Too bad really– there’s not much as far as local bars around this area, unless you wonder up to restaurant row. It’s crazy-packed if there’s an event at the Saban next door.

Conveniently located next to the Saban theatre. This became our watering hole before a concert, and also served as our spot to watch Cleveland take a 2 – 1 series lead over Golden State in the NBA finals. This is a smaller location, so it gets crowded, especially before a concert. Our server was Marla who we quite enjoyed — good personality, and fast service. I enjoyed my veggie burger, quality taste and plenty filling(see picture). Unfortunately, they have no Happy Hour on concert nights — d’ough! But, they do have a full bar, so drink up. My group enjoyed our experience at The Hill Bar & Grill.

Cheers The Hill! This neighborhood joint has its regulars. I see why. While you’d be able to find the better menu items in town, the menu of burgers, pizza, salads, and traditional dishes like chicken fried chicken offers up great variety for you and your crew. The VIBE at The Hill is a «laid back, chill and stay awhile» sorta place. Giant TV and other medium-sized ones with a nice sized bar can be enough to drink up, eat up, and get your fill of whatever game, match, or special event on the teli. So far, I and my peeps can comment on a good couple handfuls of meals here — classic, special Hill, and lamb burgers — Yum. Get the seasoned fries — regular or sweet potato get a couple thumbs up. Cobb salad — a fave. Greek — Yes, fresh and filling! The Hill pizza. Check, check. Steak sandwich — split 50⁄50. And then, chicken fried chicken — jury still out I think said my «he». The bartender, servers, owner… all super nice. Big enough for bigger parties. But just keep in mind it IS a comfy bar/grill. They have daily specials and from it looks like… a great selection of the dehydrating beverages. I’m sure they can mix up whatever you want! Parking is the metered, street kind. It’s crazy crowded during the day because it’s on Wilshire. But, take a side street and walk a bit. Next to the Saber Theater, can’t miss it!

Since I’ve started working at a restaurant in the area that this bar is located, I’ve been coming to the Hill to «soothe the pain» of a long day/week. Located on the same block as Red Medicine, this local bar and grill(as it’s been said in prior reviews) is a total GEM, hidden among the buildings of Beverly Hills. So, a part of me wants to keep it a secret, but I had to Unilocal this place for a couple reasons: The staff and the chow. LINA.( ) Oh, Lina… I cannot say enough about this OUTSTANDING bartender. She is the epitome of the perfect barkeep — A huge smile upon seeing you, a STRONG pour, and a great demeanor, overall. She is one of the biggest reasons I keep returning. When I’ve had a rough week, Lina makes it all good… Week after life-draining week. A friendly welcome, a heavy pour, and some good conversation. You can rely on Lina to «make it all good.» Come to think of it, everyone I encounter in this bar from the cooks to the cocktail waitresses are all absolutely fantastic: friendly and welcoming. Lina just has a way of making patrons feel like regulars, and making regulars feel like family. If you’re rolling here solo, worry not – there are about 6 or more TVs playing various content, with CCs on, for when it gets loud.( ) Saturdays are all about Karaōke… And damn fine bar karaōke.( ) A perfect mix of amazing voices and absolutely hilarious vocal disasters. Whether you can hold a note or not, The Hill will cheer you on with every beat. The DJ, Ryan Walker(of the«Bread Box Beats») unleashes classics for the masses to sing along to, but he ALSOSINGS. LIKE A GODDAMNPRO. His voice is just as amazing as the service he provides, at the Hill on Saturday nights. THEWINGS.( ) I ordered the Chicken Wings here, reluctantly. Bar food usually gargles nuts, especially after midnight. Not at the Hill. After ordering the wings here, I went on a rampage, ordering them to-go about three nights a week, after work. The wings are significantly crunchier, here… And I don’t care that it comes at the cost of «over-cooked chicken.» I don’t eat a chicken wing for the juicy meat, I eat it for the crunchy, sauce-loaded, fried skin. The Hill has nailed the art of the wing: Keep it simple. Robyn, Hope, Lina, and the entire crew at the Hill gets the«hats off» award. They always treat me and my drinking partners from work like we are family and the mere sight of Lina as I walk in the door makes my shoulders relax and my tummy rumble in anticipation of a great plate of wings and equally great company. So, pull up a stool or grab a seat at a table and get ready to join the family that is: The Hill.
