Splurge

This is a small little deli with basic food and snacks. But don’t let the name fool you, you can’t splurge here at all. Nothing is healthy for the most part and it’s expensive. A small bag of chips cost will surprise you, you can get the same bag at Whole Foods for half the price.

This place is a little gem if you work anywhere near the Beverly Hills area specifically near Rodeo Dr. this is a go to place for a morning pick me up or a full on meal for lunch. Just imagine a mini ⁷⁄₁₁ that serves deli sandwiches and Asian cuisines like teriyaki chicken or curry chicken, I tried both! Teriyaki wins in my opinion. The owner’s name is David. He and his wife runs the place every Monday through Friday. they’re closed on the weekends. They are just the sweetest, super friendly and patient with me when I can’t make up my mind on what to drink on some mornings.
They accept credit card but I always try to pay cash because I usually leave a small tip every time I’m there and once there was one time when I didn’t have enough cash to pay for my things but David told me it’s ok !!! The only places I know that does that are the local mom-​and-​pop shops. Keep in mind, they are in an area where they do not need to tolerate someone not having enough to pay. that just shows you how awesome they are and what great customer service they have!
The only reason why it’s not five stars is because I have to admit some items sold there were pricey. (Cigarettes were $ 7)
I’ve been introducing this place to my coworkers and hope more people find out about this super convenient store! =]

I love Splurge. I’ve worked in the area many years and with all of the changes that often take place Splure has remained consistent with Good Eats and Treats… Even after the change of ownership their quality remained the same. You must try the Chicken, Avocado sandwich on a toasted Baguette with Jalapenos. Yum

Great lil convenient store
They have a lil bit of everything. They also have a variety of coffee, sandwiches, and rice dishes. Most of all, the owner is so friendly. Nothing beats great customer service.

Omg i cant believe im the first one to Unilocal this place! I walk over to Splurge once a week for a quick lunch. Its a small convenient store/​café with all sorts of random things you may need. Coffee, salads, smoothies, rice dishes, condoms, magazines, and ice cream! They have it all. They also deliver to local businesses, and the owner is really nice. I had the chicken terriyaki plate for lunch here today!
