Bob French can rant until doomsday… doesn’t alter reality. He can also continue lobbying Unilocal to have my many rebuttals removed… I’ll keep writing them. The fact that he is trying to suggest that my lamp wasn’t broken or that I am somehow «lying» is pure insanity. The housekeeper they referred did a terrible job, destroyed my valuable property, and stole from me (mentioned in a previous update that has since been removed). I have proof to back up every single detail of my review — including photos of the damaged Handel lamp, auction records, and receipts for my mysteriously missing clothes — and yet I am now a criminal worthy of prosecution because I asked to have my placement fee refunded? Extortion? Please. How about fraud? I trust you can see from the tone and tenor of his response just how unhinged this man is and how unprofessional the Sandra Taylor Agency is. Really made my point for me, thanks.

Rude rude rude!!! That’s all I called with a question just plain rude. There are other agencies that are so professional. Do research before you work for this company!

Ive been using Sandra Taylor for years now, and when my nanny had to leave, they helped me find a replacement in no time. The people there were very responsive and helpful through the process. Ill keep referring! Thank you!

Talk about unprofessional again, they have called me three times harassing me to remove my review!!! This is a public place to go and read review on others experiences and mine was way below average! Sorry not changing or deleting it!!!
Also for you to say since I don’t pay you to get me a job, I have gone to other agencies and all were very professional if things changed and let me know right away I wasn’t left wondering what was happing and ME being the one to reach out multiple times to figure out what was going on!

I used the Sandra Taylor agency to hire a personal assistant, not really knowing what to expect. I ended up interviewing a couple candidates, all of whom were very professional – it was difficult to choose! So far, everything is working out even better than I could’ve imagined! They offer an insurance policy as well just in case you and your staff member don’t «click» (but it also covers things like family emergencies that may require them to stop working). Not that I intend to have to change staff, but it definitely put my mind at ease.

There aren’t a lot of things more frightening than leaving your kids with a stranger in LA. While I don’t have a child myself, I do have a younger sister. As a potential employee I was extremely disappointed in The Sandra Taylor Agency. I filled out their application online answered the questions, attached my resume, and sent it in. I received an email from them asking me to come in for an interview. At the interview, I was told to wait while they printed out my application. No problem there, but I quickly realized you can hear everything going on in the next room, and there is no effort to respect the privacy of the people being interviewed. Okay not the end of the world the place is small so I stayed, but what happened during my interview is why I felt the need to write this review. When my turn came the young woman interviewing me didn’t even say «hello» or «nice to meet you» before blurting out, «Have you ever had a DUI?» I thought to myself, gee thanks for treating me like a criminal before I even catch my breath. I understand that these questions must be asked, but maybe a bit later in the interview? After you shake my hand — oh, wait that didn’t happen either. Also, on my application I already answered the questions: Have I ever been arrested or committed a crime — no to both — and I acknowledged I would have a criminal check done on me. I told her no, and she then asked for my driver’s license and passport which I handed over, when she said, «How old are you?» I hesitated, trying to wrap my head around this crazy interview when another woman being interviewed leaned over and said, «I’m sixty.» Then, other woman who works there chimed in with, «We gotta know how old you are because employers care about what age bracket you’re in.» I’m not stupid I get it, and I wasn’t hiding my age, the woman had all my identification right in front of her, I just didn’t get why the whole room was involved in my business. I have recently signed up with 3 other placement agencies and interviewed with them all, and no one treated me the way The Sandra Taylor Agency did. The other places said hello, asked me what I was looking for and then we got into personal questions. At this point, I ended the interview saying perhaps the Sandra Taylor Agency was not for me. I was not rude in any way and I tried to explain I usually have a conversation when being considered for employment, but the women acted like I was from Mars and said, «No problem you can go.» Then something was said about my application being shredded and I said, «Oh, I’ll just take it,» and I was given a sharp retort of, «We can’t give you our application.» I wasn’t sure why we were discussing my application being shredded since I applied on line where it will live forever — I was just trying to be nice since it seemed to be an issue for them.
I am no princess, and have worked hard my entire life. I have great references, and a solid employment history. I am currently employed, but happened to be looking, and thought, The Sandra Taylor Agency could help, but I walked away with a bad feeling.

I heard about Sandra Taylor Agency through friends and neighbors who recommended it highly. I must say that they were right! They found me the most wonderful nanny/​housekeeper in TWO HOURS! The counselor thoroughly screened the candidates who had top references. They also conducted a criminal check and DMV report. My kids loved her, and so did I! She starts on Monday! BEST HIRING EXPERIENCE EVER! If you want top quality candidates and superb customer service then this is the agency for you and your family!
