Dr Michael Sachs must be one the best Pediatrician Doctors i have come across.
Very personable, very knowledgable, respectful and extremely helpful. Answers all the questions, and a couple times even via email.
Has given us great referrals on Allergists, Dermatologists and Dentists for our Son.
I highly recommend Dr Sachs.
The office is very clean, and the staff always smiling.

Incredibly helpful and flexible seeing my daughter last minute when her regular Ped wasn’t in, and due to his many years of experience, had insight we hadn’t had before (and I doubt our usual do would’ve thought of). He is a wonderful doctor and very caring and thoughtful, and it is obvious he thinks like a parent as well as a physician. I appreciated his help so much. Will definitely feel confident going back to him again.

My children have been with Dr Sachs since birth. Dr Sachs and the office were originally, located on Bedford Ave. in Beverly Hills. I miss the small office but the new office and the staff are still wonderful. Dr Sachs is professional, knowledgeable and courteous. I know his office is now large and the staff is busy serving Dr Sachs and 3 other doctors but staff stills find time to help the patient and parents.

OUTSTANDING PEDIATRICIAN
1. Dr. Sachs is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and responsive.
2. Dr. Sachs will tell you when something HAS to be done. He will also tell you when something is in the gray area so that you can decide for yourself.
3. Dr. Sachs is also very available; he answers emails and calls you when appropriate, and it’s easy to schedule appointments.
When our newborn was jaundiced and losing weight, Dr. Sachs told us that we had to get a billirubin test that day and then come in for a Saturday weight check because Monday would be too long to wait. On the other hand, when he pointed out our infant’s slightly misshapen ears, he told us, «I would tell you if you definitely needed to do a procedure on them or if you definitely did not need to do the procedure. In this case, it’s in the gray area. However, I would have a specialist look at them and see what he says.» (We did ultimately take him to specialists and did not do the procedure, and his ears look fine)
This is exactly what you want in a pediatrician – somebody who lets you make your own decisions when appropriate but also has the authority to tell you when you need to do something for your baby’s health.
The fact that some reviewers downgraded Dr Sachs for insisting on proper vaccination scheduling shows what a good doctor he is. You want a doctor with backbone, not a doctor that will cater to irrational, unscientific, stupid fears. And his entire office has recently adopted a policy of insisting on proper vaccination scheduling.

My son has been Dr. Sachs’ patient for about seven years and we couldn’t ask for a more caring, professional and warm doctor. First, it’s very easy to get an appointment with him. His office is clean and warm. Even though my son is now a teen about to go to college, I can appreciate the wall art and toys. The staff is terrific. Dr. Sachs treats the child patient with respect and is not condescending. He is also communicative and straight forward with the parents. I always trust his judgement. And happily, he answers nonpressing questions via email, which is a big plus when you don’t have an emergency question. Overall, Dr. Sachs is the best, and I’m so happy we found him.

My three boys have been seen by Dr. Sachs since we moved to California 5 years ago. He is very professional and has always given us correct information. He really cares about children. I love how he really takes the time to understand each issue and handles each one. He never seems rushed like other pediatricians that I have been to.
His new office is great and offers plenty of parking unlike his old office where I occasionally had to pay.
Highly recommended.

I love the fact that I trust him. He could definitely Be a little more friendly and a lot more flexible, but even not liking the parents’ choices (he can make a face or blow you off if you mention not wanting a zillion vaccines at once) he does respect them after giving you what he believes is good scientific advice.
He responds himself to emails which I love especially when I was a working mom without time to go or get on the phone. Also the office is nice & clean, parking is expensive as heck and it’s pretty ridiculous that the valet parking takes nothing but cash… I never have cash so I have to leave my ID and go to the nearest ATM with my toddlers in tow… get on the current century whatever valet parking company you are!
As far as personality he is a man of few words but really, he knows his stuff.
Too bad we will have to switch soon, the drive is killing me.
Oh and same day sick visits always available with a nice friendly smile are always a plus.

Dr Michael Sachs has been my 14 year old twins pediatrician since they were 18 months old. The moment we walked into his exam room, I could feel the warmth and caring nature of his manner towards my children. He is very knowledgeable and open with a genuine interest in my concerns and questions. His nurse, Pamela, is wonderful and accommodating when I call with any questions or in need of copies of my children’s records for school or summer camp requirements. He is a real find and would recommend him confidently.

Dr Sachs is warm and knowledgeable–
everything you want in a pediatrician!
If the previous reviewer did not like a doctor with a strong scientific background,
then I am sure they will be happier elsewhere. But If you are looking for a nice new office, helpful staff and a well-​respected pediatrician, then Dr Sachs is your man!

Dr. Sachs has been very good for us since my kids were new borns. Tried a couple other pediatricians before sticking with Dr. Sachs. He is easy to reach, listens, and knows his stuff. My kids are teenagers now and still kicking. I agree, the parking at the new Wilshire Blvd location is a challenge.

If you’re all about the «science» of medicine then Dr. Sachs is your man. We went on an interview with him and while he was very informative and knowledgeable he just didn’t seem very flexible or respectful of our choices especially when it came to us wanting to space out our newborns vaccinations. While he was highly recommended, we left knowing that he wasn’t the one. Great staff and waiting room area! The parking is not great… park on the street because it will be cheaper. We punched in and out in exactly 45 minutes and was charged $ 4.50 (sign said $ 1.25 for every 20 minute)…you do the math.
