Friendly and intimate, this is the go-to place for waxing and nails for me and for my 2 teenage daughters. And they are picky! They only accept cash or checks but they have an in house atm machine. They do take walk ins and the wait is not bad. Limited parking in the back but also metered street parking. Prices are fair and the owner and staff are great! We don’t do gels so I can’t rate that, but their other services are wonderful. Today, my meter was running out and the owner offered to walk a block away and out my money in for me. I didn’t let her, of course, but love the gesture!

This is thee BEST nail salon Ever. I Loveee Annie… they take their time and doing your manicure, they don’t try to rush through, they make sure you are happy. They do everything perfect without me having to say a thing, because they know their job and do not cut corners. Wherever you live, you will not be disappointed if you drove alittle further to get a manicure here. They are a sure bet… andddd, they have a/c so you will not feel like you are in a sweat shop while you are trying to beautify yourself.

Quality is great, super fast, the only issue is that they do not accept credit cards, however they do have ATM in the salon.

Hands down, this is my favorite nail salon. Annie is the BEST manicurist I have ever met. Her work always leaves me feeling papered and beautiful. Robertson Nails has a ton of different high end polishes, everyone is incredibly friendly, and the nail technicians genuinely care about the quality of their work. Every client is attended to promptly, and leaves with nails that are beautifully manicured to perfection. Don’t waste your time looking elsewhere, Robertson Nails is the best salon in town.

I only came here on emergency but never will I go back! My pedicure felt super rushed and the girl cut me twice. I had said I wanted a new set coffin style & matte. Not one thing I had asked for is what I got and when I brought up the matte option they said they didn’t have it. Very unprofessional and place is so cramped! And 2 nails already fell off after only a week!

Seriously. I love this salon. They’ve been doing my gel manicures for years. I’m a loyal client to Annie. I love her!!! She pays close attention to detail and I never leave disappointed. Always the perfect nail shape. Definitely a no frills salon — but your nails will look great. I’ve tried many, many salons in different parts of town trying to the find the«one» salon. And Robertson Nail is it. You can go spend $ 60 – 70 at Bellacures or Nehiule but why not come to Robertson nail for half the price and BETTER looking nails?! Vicki, the owner, always makes sure to get me in even without an appointment. The salon is located in my neighborhood and there are definitely some clientele that are… characters. LOL. Seriously I never leave without watching some sort of drama go down. Never a dull moment. If you want a $ 25 perfect gel manicure and some live entertainment go to Robertson Nail.

The absolute worst gel nails I’ve ever gotten. 1. The girl who did my nails was so rough with my cuticles she made me bleed. 2. My gels started clipping literally the next day. It’s been less than a week and 3 of my fingers have already chipped severely. What’s the point of paying for gels if they can’t even last 24 hours? Seriously the worst nail salon ever. Will never come back.

I heard about this place through Unilocal and went in. They were able to see me immediately and I had the owner, Vicki. She was great! She helped repair a broken nail and I loved my manicure afterwards.(She did an acrylic fill.) Unfortunately, two of my nails broke 24 hours later, which I realized was because she should have given me a new set instead of a fill. There’s not a ton of glitz and glamour here, but it’s quick, easy to book and clean!

I’m so happy with my manicure. I feel like it’s the best one I’ve had in a while! I currently have acrylics that I’m trying to grow out since I’m too chicken to take them off. The manicurist filed them down perfectly so that I didn’t have to get a fill. The gel color she picked for me was really cute, too. The salon is very quiet and calming, and everyone is very sweet. I hate going to salons where the manicurists yell at each other over filing machines throughout the appointment. The worst. The only cons were parking and price. There is only street parking, metered. Also, I was charged $ 27 for just a gel manicure, no fill or designs. The prices advertised are different, but I find it tacky to argue otherwise, so whatever. Still, I’m very happy and would totally come back.

Very disappointed with gel mani/pedi. I felt rushed the entire time. The quality of the paint application, manicuring, and filing was poor and could see some white from my nail. I felt like they were just trying to make money and didn’t care about the quality or experience that the customer had. I will not be going back.

One word… ANNIE! She is the best, everytime my gels just grow out after 2 wks, no lifting or breaking. The salon is not super fancy, but who cares the quality is amazing and the prices are very reasonable!

This is my go to nail salon in Los Angeles, because they are simply the BEST! I go in religiously, every 2 weeks for a Gel manicure and pedicure, totaling only $ 38! The ladies that work here are so sweet, and always engage in conversation, not like most salons where you feel like they’re talking behind your back. Another side note, before I started coming here, my gels would last a week and a half(if lucky), here the gels last two full weeks and sometimes even three weeks! Tells you they must be doing something right!

This place was TERRIBLE! I paid to get my acrylics taken off and I was cut, making multiple cuticles bleed in the process. Not to mention, she drilled two of the nails down too thin to the point where my fingers still are in pain the next day. One finger was also cut too short so that a piece of the nail is cut below the cuticle. I could’ve done a better/less painful job at home and not payed a dime. Save yourself the injuries and bad experience and go somewhere better.

Update ** I truly commend this shop for going the extra mile to sustain good customer service. After my last review, the owner reached out and personally apologized and offered to re-do my nails for free. Sometimes it’s hard to find businesses that care about their customers. Thank you, Vicky! I’ll definitely be back. ~~~

Probably one of the best nail places I’ve been to in LA. They take their time and make sure you love your nails plus the prices are amazing! I didn’t want a mani so I just changed the gel color and it only cost $ 12 + $ 3 to remove my previous color! Love this place!

I’m very happy, great price great service, great nails :) They took care of me very well, treated me very nicely and offered me bottled water. Stayed open later to accommodate me, and did a great job on my nails without rushing!

Found this place near my house. Clean with a great selection of nail polish colors. Price is reasonable for west la. Ask for Tina. She’s awesome and super sweet. :) UPDATE! I went there today and everyone was awesome. Even though they were super busy, I never felt rushed. Definitely my new favorite nail spot on the west side!
