What a lovely gentleman! He was very accommodating, kind, and gave me a fair price for a repair. He is a true gem and I cannot say enough nice things about him and his service :)

I brought my stainless steel Rolex Datejust to have it serviced. The last time I had it serviced was 10 years ago so it was LONG over due. I was going to take it to Rolex but after reading all the Unilocal reviews for Peter, I decided to try him since he is local. I am so glad I did! My watch looks brand new. The turnaround time was only 2 weeks and the price I thought was very fair compared to what Rolex would have charged.

Wonderful experience. What a gentleman. very pleasant experience. He fixed my gold Rolex watch band and serviced the watch in less time than anyone else promised and for a very fair price.
I had previously gone to 3 different repair stores, and they wanted a lot of money and would have taken 4 – 6 weeks. Peter repaired the band and serviced the watch in 2 weeks. I am very happy with his work. Would highly recommend.

Where else are you offered a cocktail while you wait for your watch to be repaired? I walked in to get some batteries replaced on a couple watches and Peter took care of it within 20 minutes and was reasonably priced. I went to Peter’s studio to get the battery changed in my Michele watch — I originally was going to go to a dealer, but the closest one was downtown. I’m so glad I went here instead! He changed the battery and gave my watch a polish in about 20 minutes (there’s a great coffeeshop called Chaumont to go kill some time right next door to the building).
He only charged me $ 30 to change the battery, which I imagine is a lot less than if I had taken it to Geary’s or the like. Plus, Peter said that most of the top-​of-​the-​line dealers send them their repairs, so why not cut out the middle man and save yourself some time and probably money!
He also repairs jewelry, so I’m planning on taking a couple of pieces to him to fix as well.

Mr. Schuler is unquestionably the man to go to with watch repairs — and even more so, for vintage Rolex watches.
Today, I picked up my 1920’s ladies Rolex which Mr. Schuler had serviced. I’m beyond ecstatic with the results of his work, his customer service, and his price. My watch stopped working and we brought it to him after Rolex’s Service Center in BH and Rolex By Geary’s in Century City both said they couldn’t service it. But in no way am I saying Rolex By Geary’s can’t do a good job. They were able to service my dad’s 1960’s Rolex (by way of the service center in Dallas). My watch was just too old.
Mr. Schuler repaired my watch in 10 days (compared to the 2 months for my dad’s watch) plus polished it and it now looks and works beautifully. He was so kind and generous with his time. He even steam cleaned my engagement ring when I picked up my watch! The price was fantastic too. It was far less than we were expecting to pay and less than how much my dad paid to service his Rolex at Geary’s.
He was recommended to us by the Rolex by Geary’s store in Century City. I’m told Mr. Schuler is who they send repairs to when they don’t send it to the Rolex Service Center. That’s a pretty good objective endorsement.
I know I’m repeating myself but Mr. Schuler was the only one who could fix my watch after Rolex By Geary’s and the Beverly Hills Rolex Service center said no. That speaks to his skill and his inventory of vintage Rolex parts.
Mr. Schuler also makes custom jewelry and at prices I thought are very reasonable. Something I made sure my fiancé took note of. :)
Regardless, my dad, fiancé and I are returning with our Rolex repairs in the future… and jewelry too if I can finagle it!
PS: His service comes with a one-​year warranty on his repairs.

Ran across Peter Schuler Watch Repair while searching for a place close to my work to replace a watch battery. All I can say is what a «great discovery» and I’ll be back again. He is a true gentleman just like another Unilocal user said, is very professional, and replaced the battery while I waited.
Plus we had a great conversation while he was replacing it.
It’s unfortunately rare these days to find an old school watch repair establishment, or any place for that matter, that is like this, and I look forward to the next visit.
I told my neighbor who is a big watch collector about him and he’s going to be stopping by there as well.
On a side note, I found a parking meter in front of the building, but there is a public lot just down the street a block and a half or so south on Beverly Drive.
Also, I called first to make sure he had a battery in stock for my watch, and that he was open before I went there, as I always do.

Peter Schüler is a true gentleman and a pleasure to do business with. He did an outstanding job overhauling my husband’s Bulgari watch and I found his price to be quite fair; certainly far less than Bulgari would have charged. Moreover, I purchased a new band for the watch and found that to also be fairly priced. I have only praise for this gentleman. He clearly understands the fine art of great customer service and it is obvious that he is a master at repairing watches.

Love his office space! Framed on one of his walls is The Liberty Bell he made out of watch parts, he has a fully stocked bar with crystal glasses, plays classical music, and has interesting pieces as well as a collection of used jewelry and watches on display.
Amazing customer service, efficient, and reasonably priced. Hours are 11:00am to 6:00pm. Peter has been at this same location for 36 years.
Stopped in during my lunch break to fit my Rolex Submariner. Found meter parking right on Beverly. Office is on the second floor of the 139 S Beverly building.
Peter was able to make a substantial adjustment on my men’s Rolex to fit my petite, female wrist, all within 30 minutes!

What a nice and skilled man, and such a pleasure to see someone like this left in our town. He really fixed my most important watch very quickly, for hardly anything, and was kind and friendly about it. His place is a virtual museum of timepieces, some quite odd and some gorgeous. It’s the mix that makes the place great. It’s just lovely that he’s around, and I hope he stays in business for a long time.

What a pleasure it was dealing with Peter on the repair of my Rolex Submariner. It only needed a cleaning but I also had him repair the watch band. Roxex wouldn’t repair the steel/​gold band as they would only sell me a new one. Peter had it repaired for a fraction of the cost of a new band. This was a wonderful experience and my watch and band looks brand new.

Peter is a true artisan and continues a long tradition of quality and service that will one day be gone forever. I brought in a Rolex given to my Father in 1955 which he wore for 18 years until it stopped working. He tried to have it repaired and it was made worse. Eventually, the clasp broke and he put it away in 1973. It had not see the light of day in almost 40 years and it was completely trashed both functionally and cosmetically. Peter restored it to absolute perfection. He replaced numerous internal parts, restored the face, replaced the crystal, repaired the clasp, replaced all the pins in the band, and polished it to a mirror finish. It literally looks brand new.
Was it expensive? Absolutely. Do you want someone to half ass the restoration of your Father’s 58 year old watch so you can save some money? That’s for you to decide, but I would tell anyone on earth who owns a watch, newer or vintage, that needs repair to visit Peter. He is a gentleman, a businessman, and an artist. I wish I had more watches to take to him.
PS The guy below who complains about Peter’s hours is an ass. Peter is in his 70s (maybe older) worked for Rolex in his 20s, and has been in the same location for 36 years. His customer service skills are impeccable. If he wants to work 11am-​6pm, God bless him for reaching a point in life where he can choose to do so. Next time, pick up the phone genius. He tells you his hours on his greeting and gives his cell number.

I need my Rolex repaired, and found Peter Schuler Rolex and Fine Watch Repair through Unilocal.HIs shop is right around the corner from my business, so I dropped by this morning to have my watch serviced. I got there at 9:45 a.m. and when I found there was nobody there, I waited by his door until just past 10:00. His nextdoor neighbor showed up shortly thereafter and told me «Peter usually shows up around 11:30.» Mind you, his hours are not posted on his Unilocal page or on his front door. When I asked the neighbor when Mr. Schuler ended his day, I was told «Oh, he works the whole afternoon. He leaves around 5:00.» Must be nice.
I’ll reserve final judgement until he takes a look at my watch, but my initial reaction is that he could use a lesson in customer service. More power to you if you can work such short days, but at least post your hours somewhere.

My girlfriend’s watch needed a battery replaced and we had two options: 1) The store where she bought it ships it back to Switzerland and she’s without her watch for at least four weeks. Or 2) Trust our fellow Unilocalers and go to Peter. Seemed like a no-​brainer. After dealing with Peter, we’re 100% positive we made the right call. 20 minutes for $ 20 and her watch was back in business. And like others here have said, Peter is old school and very friendly. Practically forced candy into my hand as I walked out. (Heads up: cash only, at least for small jobs.)

Mr. Schuler is a true old world craftsman. Excellent highest quality service at more then reasonable prices. Add a 10 day turn around time as compared to Rolex USA’s 2 months and you have the best of all worlds. My 22 year old Rolex now looks and runs like new.

I wanted to find somebody close to my office to take a link out of my watchband and stumbled on Peter Schuler’s listing in Unilocal after calling a few jewelers who gave me the runaround. Mr. Schuler’s establishment is not a store, it’s a small office upstairs in an office building that is primarily a workshop. He took a look at my watch which had a very odd band (from my perspective anyway), sat down with a couple tools, and in 5 minutes he had taken the links out, handed it back, and only asked for $ 10. Mr. Schuler is an Old World craftsman who respects fine objects and takes pride in his work. What a nice man! Highly recommended.

I am very excited to have found Peter Schuler’s Rolex repair business. He is also a skilled jeweler, not just a watch repair man, so for anyone interested in jewelry, he also has a lovely collection of new and antique jewelery, which are priced reasonably.
He does an excellent job in repairing and restoring in a fifth of the time, and half of the cost of sending a watch off to Rolex, and he is the sole person to work on it.
Did I mention he will offer you a scotch while waiting for an estimate?

Got my watch back. and it works beautfiully. He does repair work for a lot of watches. He also sells second-​hand watches.
I highly recommend Peter to anyone who needs to get their watch fix by a a real old school watch person who sees it as a craft. The best part is that he also gave me a great price to fix my watch– better than all the other dealers I took my watch to.
