Want to hear something completely disgusting and totally insane?! Unless you have a life threatening pulmonary condition, don’t go here because it’s not only a complete waste of your time, it will drain your bank account even if you HAVE insurance and he’s and in-​network doctor!!! I have Cigna, through my job. I very rarely go to the doctors, but with is less than a mile from his Glendale office I thought it would be convenient, and with him being in my network, I’ll get a skin allergy test to finally see what I’m allergic to because I was having some skin reactions since I moved from the east coast to west coast. Little did I know, I’m allergic to 59 of the 62 things he tested for. great, now what? Oh that’s right. absolutely nothing!!! Other than a two year treatment and thousands of dollars to possibly try and treat your allergies there’s no solution. Great, so l left the office thinking that was a waste of my time but at least I’ll know what I’m allergic to so I can try to avoid them. Before I left, I asked his secretary to please give me the list of allergic substances and give me info on cost for the two year treatment plan. I also asked if there was a copay, she said no, that they will send me a bill to my mailing address. ok I thought that was a little weird. She said she was busy and would email it and had me write my email and name down on a post-​it. Then a week later, nothing. I called again, she said she would do it «right then» nothing. I called the two days later asking for it and finally they sent the allergy list but no costs. whatever, prob can’t afford the treatment anyway. Now, like two months later I get a bill in the mail from them saying I OWE $ 833!!! For what!!! A skin prick test that took 15 min? If I knew it was even half the price for an in-​network doctor, I would NEVER have gone to get testing for something that there’s 1. no life threatening condition for, 2. No solution to help me, and 3. Be a waste of time and money! Nice guy. BUT they are in the business of robbing people. He also prescribed me medication that was $ 150 copay, which the pharmacist even said «um yeah, I wouldn’t personally pay that if I were you. Get this x, for $ 20 over the counter, it does the same thing» he also prescribed me medication that would be a $ 60 monthly cost if I were to use an inhaler, which I don’t believe in again unless you’re life threatening condition depends on it which you would know if you needed it before u even went in for a visit. Total rip off. Save your money!!! Save your time.

I am a new patient of Dr. Parker’s and am so far very pleased with his office as well as his services. I met with Dr. Parker to discuss my severe allergies and we talked about various options for me moving forward.
Today I am going in for allergy testing and am very anxious to get these results back so we can be proactive in helping alleviate my symptoms.
I’m surprised by the lack of reviews here and will make sure to update this as my interactions with his office continue. Hoping for the best!

Dr. Parker is by far the most knowledgable allergists that I have been to. He has been a complete life saver in helping get rid of my allergies. Great doctor and staff!

I created a Unilocal account solely to write this review. Whatever you do, DO NOT SEEK THE SERVICES OF DR. PETER J PARKER. Find any allergist anywhere else.
I trusted Dr. Parker and his kind staff with my allergy shot treatment. BIG mistake! Dr. Parker dropped me like a hot rock and stopped my allergy treatment without any warning 4 months in (when it takes 6 months of allergy shots for them to take effect). At the time he claimed it was because my HMO provider no longer had a business deal with him, but he offered me absolutely ZERO assistance finding another allergist nearby who could resume my shots! Further I later found out he had lied — his business contract with my (now-​former) provider wasn’t over for another month until after he stopped treating me. He could have continued to get paid to give me my damn shots for a whole month, and *I* could’ve found another allergist. But no.
If only that was the end of it. Now, incredibly, Dr. Peter J. Parker is BILLING me for over $ 400 for the services he didn’t render! You read that right: even though his (again, very kind) nurses and staff told me repeatedly over months that I had no co-​pay, Dr. Parker now claims I did and has sent a collections agency after me for charges totaling over $ 400 for INTERRUPTED and RUINED allergy shots. The gall of this man is absolutely stunning.
Value your nose, your time, and your wallet, and get your allergies treated ELSEWHERE.

Some days I look like a monster: red, watery, bloodshot eyes, swollen face that’s equally as red as the eyes, snot streaming out of the nose. And my sidekick when I’m this monster is Mr. Mountain. He’s a mountain of used tissues that hangs out right next to me.
This is my life on allergies.
They can destroy your social life, make people look at you like you’re the walking plague and cute furry animals as well as pretty flowers make you disgusted at the sight of them.
It sucks.
I didn’t think my allergies could get worse moving from DC to here, but I guess those cute flowers bloom constantly. And don’t even get me started about the Santa-fakin-Ana’s. Ugh. Just horrible.
But life with Dr. Parker is so much better! You once or twice a week, get stabbed with a tiny needle and over time you can see those cute furry animals and love them, and even stop to smell the roses.
If you go here, go past the office up the block a little and on the right is a 1 hour free parking garage! Well worth the price! ;)
