Network International Models & Talent

I was just contacted by Network International Models & Talent in Beverly Hills via both email and text. I saw the previous comments and checked with SAG-​AFTRA to especially to see if that comment is true. It is. As a SAG-​AFTRA member, I couldn’t get involved with this company no matter what. I don’t know why they bother SAG-​AFTRA members since they know we can’t work with them. If you are a member, stay away for sure. If not a union member yet but you see this as a sign. Do what you feel you should.

I’m not exactly sure how I even got to this agency because I was searching for a different one and their phone number came up… or, so I thought.
Donna, who answered the phone, told me she isn’t allowed to give the names of clients that the agency represents. I don’t really understand how an agency wouldn’t be allowed to give names of clients because… isn’t that what they do???
Regardless that this was the agency I’m looking for or not, I don’t really see how a reputable agency would feel they have something to hide. Seems very shady to me.
And being in the business myself, I’m well aware of things that can be shady so one would think that the first impression is the most important. Also, an agency should be aware of questionable businesses so one would think they would want to squash any doubts.
From only a 5 minute phone call, I already know that this is not an agency that I would trust and reading the other reviews, it seems to have others with the same experience.

I was threatened with a lawsuit after writing a very honest review/​opinion on Google. I have never felt more shocked and upset in my LIFE. I was asked for money upfront if I signed the contract as it was for «a photoshoot with 5 different looks» and in my humble opinion you should never have to pay an agency for anything. They pay you and take a percentage of your check when you get booked/​work. Do your research!

The owner Patrick threatened to sue me from a review I wrote here in July 2012 so I took it down as he asked. In place I will say to stay away. This is bad bad business! Always made excuses about payment and never paid on time. One time it took 3 months to pay me on a job. That is a fact. I’m just stating the facts and warning people so that they don’t have a bad experience like I did (after all isn’t that what Unilocal is for)?! It’s 2014 and you’re just reading your Unilocal reviews? Come on! No good.

My daughter has been happily represented by Network International Models and Talent for 2 years and they are WONDERFUL!!! My daughter has been fully and professionally represented by Patrik and his associates in the Industry. Patrik has an amazing work ethic and he is an exceptional person. Anyone saying other wise is obviously jealous of the Agency’s success. He is constantly submitting my daughter for Theatrical and Commercial rolls. I couldn’t be more happy with the personal attention he gives to me and my daughter. In fact I have an appointment with Patrik to hopefully represent my younger son! Out of all the Agency’s we met with, Network International was the very best choice. Patrik is honestly a very hands on Agent. Patrik is always available for his clients and helps direct and improve everyone of his clients towards success, it’s not magic, but if your are willing to work hard, he will be your best asset in this Industry. There have been so many times I have called him and he personally gets on the phone with me to offer guidance and assurance. I appreciate how hard he works for my daughter and I am so grateful to have Patrik representing her! It’s sad when other people aren’t willing to work hard, so instead they blame others for the reason they haven’t succeeded.
When my daughter first signed with Patrik, he NEVER tried to get money out of me, or imply that I had to drop cash to get Elenoa started. When Elenoa had her 1^st Photo shoot at 4 years old, Patrik was right there with her giving support and encouragement. He runs a top notch Agency and I am thankful he is in our lives :-)

Just got the emails and texts from Network blah blah through LA Casting… I wish they would do some background checking before allowing these types of scams to use LA Casting’s roster. Did some googling and came up with nothing but scam alerts and an official SAG notice from Sept this year, announcing that they have been dropped from SAG’s umbrella and SAG members are NOT to engage in business with them. Ummm…’nuff said. Seeya.
