This place is decent for take out. I dined in for breakfast and was pretty disappointed with my experience. Ambiance: cold, uninviting, simple, no music Food: lengthy menu with some great items. I was happy with my eggs florentine! Comes with a tiny portion of potatoes as a side. Price: a little on the high side for such a small«pay at the register» café. It’ll cost you $ 1.50 to add avocado and you’ll only get ¼ of one. Service: you order at the register and your food is served to your table. They appeared to be a little short-staffed, as the girl at the register had to take 2 phone calls and fill a take-out order before helping me. The kitchen also slightly messed up my order. In retrospect, I should have taken my food to-go and I would have had a better experience

Came in here because one of my employees loves the breakfast burrito. While going through the menu I decide to take a chance on the Tuna Melt with their homemade chips. It was absolutely amazing. Every time I go now. I can’t help but order the Tuna Melt even though there are other thing I want to try. Get the tuna melt. You will be very happy.

Mmmmm. This place is cuter than Trimana Grill one block down but the food and ambiance doesn’t warrant the higher prices. The Caesar salad at Trimana is cheaper, more filling(bigger), and has more chicken. Last time I come here.

This was my first time there and the lady(I don’t know her name but she was Asian) had such an attitude problem. They did not have a variety of breads(they only had wheat or sourdough). I guess asking about the type of breads was wrong for me to do because the lady kept rolling her eyes. Wow. I will never go back. I want to be treated like I matter and treated with respect, after all, I am spending MYMONEY! I

Absolutely atrocious delivery service. We’ve tried to order from them twice now — the first time they were late and the food was cold. The second time, once they were 15 minutes late, I called and was told the delivery driver had left a while ago with my order. I called AGAIN15 minutes later only to be told that my order had never actually been processed and would I like them to start over and make a new one? At this point is was an hour and half after I’d placed my original order, so I opted instead for a full refund. We won’t be trying them again.

OK, the main reason for giving Lazy Daisy a 5 Star review has to do with AJ and the service he and his crew provide! A few days ago I had a late breakfast at Lazy Daisy; I took my ring off as I washed my hands and forgot to put it back on! It was a special ring for me because an artist in Chile had made it for me. Today, [2] two days later I remembered I had left that ring on the sink and called thinking someone else was probably now enjoying that ring! AJ asked me to describe the ring and told me much to my GREATSURPRISE that he had my ring and would save it for me. How is that for being cool?! Extremely cool! I rushed over, got my ring and got another very good breakfast while I was at it! My breakfast was very good today as well-eggs and potatoes served exactly that way I wanted them, not almost but exactly the way I ordered them. Thanks AJ!

Had the Lazy Daisy Breakfast w/buckwheat pancakes, scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese and sausage. It. Was. Yummy! Super simple breakfast, but the eggs were fluffy and creamy, rather than dry. And the sausage was tasty but not too salty. The portion sizes were good too, not skimpy, I could only finish ½ the eggs and sausage and only ¼ of the pancakes.

Can’t get enough of this place! The breakfast burrito-add bacon is amazing. They have this special hot sauce that’s good on everything! Everything I’ve had from there is so good.

Don’t let the name fool you, this place is anything but lazy! I’ve tried many of the items on the menu here and have not found one thing to complain about. Hot food, cold food, quick bite, longer meal — they’re good at everything! Fresh ingredients, DELICIOUS taste, and great service! Ok but let’s talk specifics. My two favorite items on the menu: AMAZING turkey avocado wrap(and get their divine chipotle sauce on the side) and out-of-this-world breakfast burrito — it has HASHBROWNS in it. I am salivating just writing this and thinking about it. Their burgers are also bomb dot com, and don’t get me started on their salads! Alright, just one more, I have to throw the tuna melt into the mix too. Crispy and grilled to perfection. YUM. On a side note, they also have a lot of celebrities frequent this place. I saw Zoe Saldana when I was there! A worker told me they also saw Orlando Bloom and BILLFRIGGINCLINTON there, to name just a few. So while some people on here may be complaining that the food is pricey, hey, it’s Beverly Hills! What do you expect? They’ve gotta make their rent and make a living. But if they’re going to sell food that excites your taste buds, is fresh, and made when you order it, then I think your money is being well-spent at such a place, don’t you?(and relatively speaking vis-a-vis other restaurants in the area, it is NOT that expensive.) Not so sure? Try it for yourself! You won’t regret it.

I think it would be great if they actually let me know that it takes 45 min to get a cold sandwich. Then when I call the only thing they said was to cancel. Awesome guys totally worth wasting an hour on you guys.

One of those great little places where you can have a cup of coffee, hang with friends and eat fresh food. Rotating art on the walls is a plus.

Mediocre diner food. If you have to have a quick bite it’s okay. Service was nice. Friendly family owned vibe.

I’m eating here now and am blown away by how fresh everything tastes. The coffee, the Greek Omelette, and AJ is most gracious! Well done. I’ll be back.

The old Asian lady that took my order was incredibly rude and was smacking gum in my face the entire time. Yes, I customized my order but I HAVE ordered this same dish before from her son(or Asian guy that works there) multiple times with no confusion. I offered to pay an upcharge and she said«of course!» I don’t think there was a need for that. Also, I was with another person who ordered after me and she needlessly commented«what’s up with her? are you with her?» in a very offensive way. Once I sat down and waited for my meal, I remembered I am usually asked about my choice of side item(which she did not ask). She came to me and started being very combative. Yes, she gave me the side item but then missed something in my dish that I asked for. So if this was intentional, then don’t consider yourself all that accommodating to your customer. The food is ok but I don’t need to pay $ 15 to eat at a dingy café where I have to walk up to order and pay for my food and then get a rude person being argumentative. Also, my friend ordered the tuna melt sandwich and she decided upon herself to give him the tuna melt quesadilla.

Forgot my lunch the other day, and came into Lazy Daisy not really knowing anything about it. I came in and was handed a menu by the lady behind the counter. I decided to go with the Tuna Melt, since that was what I was craving that day. The Tuna Melt was pretty good. You have choices of sourdough vs wheat and home made chips vs salad. The chips were really good, thick and not too crispy. Bonus: I was in and out within 10 minutes — great for those days you are in a rush on your lunch break! You can also order online for pickup or delivery to expedite the process even further.

DON’T EATHERE !!! No air conditioning, it’s hot in here! The Asian lady taking orders is horribly rude-no people skills at all. She’d rather argue with me about what I’m ordering-which was straight off the menu, nothing special or extra! The food had no redeeming qualities. Just terrible. I can’t think of a better way to say how horrible, terrible, bad, rude, the whole experience was-and not use profanity. Stay away — — — — — -you’ve been warned.

Great little place if you’re looking to grab a quick bite. I stopped in for breakfast and the staff was very friendly. Right up the block from the Audi dealership if you need to wait for your car to get fixed. Went with the traditional breakfast, 2 eggs, potatoes, toast and some extra bacon! And coffee is delicious.

Lazy Daisy is nothing to write home about(but something to Unilocal about, clearly). I went there because I was killing time before my doctor appointment a block away, and I stopped in for a quick bite. When I walked in, I was confused whether they sold food, because the board behind the front counter was hard to read and didn’t have many selections. Then the lady working at the front counter asked if I wanted a menu. The menu had plenty of choices, so why not put that on the board? The food was waaaaay overpriced. I paid $ 17 for a soda and a chicken quesadilla, and the portion wasn’t large by any means. Guessing they have to pay their Beverly Hills rent and overcharge because of that fact. Next time I want a quesadilla, I’ll just hit up a Mexican joint and save $ 7. Not to mention, the quesadilla was not that great, nothing I couldn’t just make at home. I won’t go back.
