This doctor is not accepting new patients and was very rude to me on the phone. Was very off putting when someone with all these good reviews could be so mean. It was like he was talking down to me.

I highly recommend Dr. Joe Ruiz. He has been my doctor for over 25 years and although my company has changed insurance carriers throughout the years, I would never think of going to another doctor. He is extremely thorough, and remembers all the medical issues that I have had without referring to the charts. He treats me like a person — not a number, and actually looks me in the eye and understands the importance of a Dr. to Patient relationship.
Dr, Joe Ruiz correctly diagnosed all medical conditions and has a vast knowledge of new approaches to medicine. He understands the entire physiology — mental, physical, emotional — while maintaining a holistic approach. I truly believe that without having Dr. Joe Ruiz in my life, I would not be as health as I am today!

I cannot recommend Dr Ruiz more highly. He is patient and thorough, taking the time to get to know his patients and maintain an ongoing relationships. Medicine is far more then just prescribing medications and recommending procedures. It is about spending time with your patients and understanding their entire physiology — mental, physical, emotiional — who they are «holistically.» Dr. Ruiz is an outlier in an «industry» otherwise driven by a constant pressure for a quick and lucrative turnover.

Dr. Ruiz is extremely kind and well versed in his practices. He’s been in his office for over 30 years now! He goes above and beyond to make patiences feel at ease.
I called on Monday and was able to see him on Thursday, I highly recommend him!

Dr Ruiz is incredibly helpful! I called to find out about an insurance question as a new patient and he picked up the phone from his assistant spoke to me for 10 min about insurance plans and what i should ask for. All this for an unknown, new patient, that he’s never met. in fact, he advised me of all the costs associated with his visit. No Doctor in LA does that for a new patient. I would recommend this Doctor just for the integrity and transparency he showed me.

Dr. Joe L Ruiz is professional probably the only Dr. that really get to know his patients very well no nurses very attentive. He prescribed medicine to my pharmacy. My medicine is waiting for me when I arrived. Unlike other doctor’s offices, I don’t have to wait at all which is always nice

I am shocked there aren’t dozens of reviews about Dr. Ruiz. He is one of the best diagnosticians I have ever met. After my beloved co-​worker told me about a slightly holistic but NOT hippie doc across from our office who had put her on a whole new vitamin régime, I was intrigued. I decided to go see Dr. Ruiz for a full blood panel.
Dr. Ruiz introduced me to the wonderful world of B12 and B complex shots — have you had one of these? They are awesome! I am officially hooked! Per my trainer’s suggestion– I was driving to Encino for IV vitamin therapy since I felt so good after the B shots. Dr. Ruiz just told me he can administer the IV vItamins as well and he is minutes from my office. I am so grateful to have found him. His office is always pleasant and fits me into his schedule when I need to see him.
