iStyle Lash&Blow

My experience going to iStyle was AMAZING! Junko was very sweet and accommodating. And she really takes her time to asses what style/​length of lashes will make you happy! Half the time during the application we were chatting, and the other half I dozed off (which I NEVER do so she really made me feel at ease). Then at the end I walked out with gorgeous, natural looking lashes! I’ve received so many compliments and they’re still going strong. Love!!!

Junk is amazing! She is super and nice and gentle when applying the extension. She also offer you the right set based on your personal traits. I definitely got exactly what I want (was worried that it might look too crazy before I did the extension, but Junko helped me picked the right set for me)

I had my lashes done May 23^rd with Junko and I absolutely love them! I went to Maui the following week and did not have any fall-​out what so ever, I was actually very shocked! I’ve already hit my 3 week mark and they still look great, I get compliments everywhere I go. I especially love the fact that they don’t droop my eyes down and that they feel super lightweight and look extremely natural, which is major key in my world! Junko my eyes love you and so do I! Got my lashes done by Junko and I love them! Junko’s hand is so soft she makes the 2hrs super relaxing. I would definitely recommend her to everyone.
I’ve had my lashes done before by someone else but I wasn’t happy because they were super heavy and irritated my eyes. When I met with Junko I told her I wanted a natural yet sexy everyday look and she gave me just what I asked for ;) These lashes are so light on my eyes I forget I have them one.

Alright everyone here is my first review that’s not of a restaurant… I’ve only had 3 people in my life who I trust to cut my hair… (One is retired and the other one works at a Salon that is really hard to get into) Junko is one of them and I will forever go back to her! She takes the time to talk to you and to listen to what you like for your hair. Her shampooing and conditioning is very thorough and the stuff she uses is not overpowering on noses. She literally transformed my hair from long and stringy (I haven’t had a cut and style in two years) to full, bouncy and voluptuous… Crazy that it only took two inches of hair to do that!!! She gave me the full blow dry and styling service too which was nice because I don’t know how to style my hair that much… My head looks pretty great now and I’m so thankful for her and her skills! Price wise, it is very affordable and her salon room is clean, bright and welcoming. She also does eyelash extensions, I haven’t had the pleasure of her doing that but I will be booking that appointment soon! I am competing in a muscle beach (Venice) show this Labor Day so I am having her do my hair and eyelash extensions for that too!

I love this place! It was my first time getting eyelash extensions and the whole process was wonderful. Junko is AMAZING at what she does. She is so sweet and accommodating! She discusses your expectations before she begins and really listens and delivers! I have gotten so many compliments on how long and natural my lashes looked (exactly what I wanted). The whole process is so relaxing I actually took a little nap. Love my lashes and I would not trust them to anyone else after Junko. She actually remembered that I was getting them done for my birthday and sent me a happy birthday text and follow up :)!! Could not recommend this place enough! Thank you Junko!

Junko is fantastic! I just got my lash extensions done and they are amazing… full, but natural and very lightweight. I seriously can’t even feel them. I previously got extensions done elsewhere and they were heavy and bothersome to my eyes.
Junko is sweet, accommodating and extremely professional. She made the 2 hrs fly by. She offered me the opportunity to sleep but she was so incredibly nice that we ended up chatting the entire time. I highly recommend her and will definitely be back.

I called iStyle lash and Brown totally on a whim and got an appointment that very same day! The lady that helped me was so kind and wonderful and made me so comfortable while she was working on my lashes. I got to just layback and nap and when I woke up I had the eye lashes that I have always dreamed of. I almost cried but didn’t want to mess them up lol! I couldn’t recommend this place more! FYI I did end up crying tears of joy all weekend at my sisters wedding and my lashes still look perfect!

I have never loved a service more! Junko’s work is amazing. I’m on my 3^rd fill and not sure if I’ll ever stop. She listens to exactly what you want and makes sure you’re comfortable during the whole process. Her studio is so relaxing you’ll maybe even end up falling asleep!
I’ve never received more compliments on my eyelashes and it has changed my daily routine for the better. People that ask about my lashes are always in shock that they are extensions because of the fact that they look so natural.
And to top it off Junko is the sweetest and a complete doll :)

Junko is so great! I have barely any lashes and she worked with me to get a full lash. She was super gentle and my eyes were not irritated at all. Such a pleasant experience compared to the last person I went to where my eyes were watering the whole time. Definitely recommend her!

Junko is the best I’ve ever had for eye lash extensions. I’ve been getting them done for years in NYC, SF, and la but she surpasses all the other ones! Im also in the beauty industry so I can appreciate superb service and talent. Perfect placement w/​consideration of my other weak lashes. Being Asian w/​super thin lashes that are limp, junko brought them alive and absolutely gorgeous!!! She is also very kind and makes you feel so comfortable, I will be back!

First-​ever experience of having eyelashes extensions. I was referred by a friend who’s had eyelash extensions forever, and she swears by Junko!
It is evident from meeting her, that Junko is a real pro. She walks you through her process every little thing because I was so nervous.
Thank you Junko! I love my eye lash extensions! They look effortlessly beautiful. Just what I expected! Fullness, and length. It doesn’t bother me it just feel like wearing a lot of makeup or false lashes. Imagine Layers of Mascara sitting on the lashes. It’s not heavy or strange.
One thing to note: Yes you will be needing to remove your contact lenses. Either park really close or bring your lens case. Hard and soft it doesn’t matter.

Junko is a national treasure, and I adore her! She did my lashes today — she was patient, meticulous, and so incredibly sweet! I found her via Groupon — I’d recommend calling her after you track down the Groupon, she’ll honor the price without you actually having to buy it (that way she doesn’t have to split the payment — believe me, she deserves every penny!). She didn’t shame me into cancelling my Groupon, she just politely offered up the option, and I happily did it. I went with the faux mink — truth be told, they don’t look as natural as the real thing, but they definitely add a touch of drama! Also, my hair got a little wonky after lying in the same spot for two hours, so she offered to let me use her flatiron before I left. I’ll say that again, she OFFERED TO LET ME USE HER FLATIRON! She’s magical, 40 stars!

Got my lashes done from Junko for the first time last night and they turned out beautiful, thanks Junko! She is super accommodating and such a delightful person. Newly opened establishment and she deserves to succeed! I forgot the style and lag numbers im used to getting since I usually rely on my lash tech from my previous salon but I trusted Junko to choose the best look for me. Im happy with the results as of now and will update my review in a few weeks with progress!

I have been going to Junko for the past year for all my beauty needs, eyelash extensions, haircuts, color touch ups, blow drys and the best shampoo/​head massage you will find anywhere in Los Angeles!
I followed Junko from Santa Monica to Beverly Hills and I could not be happier. I was very skeptical about eyelash extensions but since I don’t wear mascara considered this as an option with Junko, as I got to know her and her professionaIism. I could not be more thrilled with the results, the compliments I have recieved has spanned from «you look 10 years younger» to «did you have some cosmetic surgery to your face?» I highly recommend IStyle and Junko for all your beauty needs, she has a lovely personality and is very accommodating to busy schedules and most of all delivers a 100% in helping you to look your best!

She really listened to what I wanted and gave me the exact cut I asked for. I was worried that I would have to chop off a lot of my hair because I had so many split ends but Junko somehow was able to cut off my split ends without cutting my hair too short!
She is also amazing at blowouts! I’ve had numerous blowouts from her and have always been so impressed with how she managed to blow dry my thick curly hair!

I’ve only gotten my eyelash extensions done in Tokyo. This is my first time I’ve gotten them done in the U.S. And I am beyond satisfied.
Right now it’s limited time offer $ 100 for minx extensions! With unlimited lash count! So worth it! Usually they are about $ 185!
Bangs cut– I told Junko that I just wanted a trim and she ask me what kind, I said as long as I look cute just trim away. She took her time and cut my bangs surprisingly well. My bangs curl to the right which makes its tricky to cut. She was able to cut them straight and constantly ask me if they were any problems or if I wanted them shorter. I would said never mind and she would insist to meet my desires. I love how much she cares about what I want with my bangs.
Eyelash Extensions– The lightest Mink lashes I’ve ever experience! First Junko would check if you need to go to the bathroom since you will be laying there for about two hours. She will constantly ask your comfort level and insist to put up the heater if you’re cold. If you have make up left over, like I did, she would give you makeup remover wipe and clean it off for you (way more gentler than I would!) Next she would put on Collagen Eye Bag Mask, so while you are getting your extensions on you are feeding your eye bags needed vitamins! Junko is really knowledge about eyelashes and care. She walked me by step by step about eye lash extensions. Even though I’ve gotten my eyelashes extended seven times she taught me things I’ve never known.
Junko– So knowledgable! She told me, it’s better to not have super long extensions because it can damage my natural lashes. The mink lashes attaches to your real lashes, if they are too heavy they pull your lashes down causes them to get weak and even bald!!! That explains why i was bald for three months last year. Junko really cares about her customers, that’s why she opened her own shop so she can truly care for her customers.
Parking– Free two hour parking by Carte& Barrel, or street parking.

I have been a client of Junko for over a year and followed her from her previous salon to her beautiful little space right around the corner from Rodeo Drive. Five star location, five star service without the five star price! I won’t let anyone else touch my lashes. Junko’s work is meticulous because she is a perfectionist, she takes pride in her craft but mostly because she genuinely wants you to love your lashes. They last up to a month for me. Her blow-​outs are also fantastic. I leave feeling like a million bucks. Parking is plentiful just behind her building in a public lot.

Junko has been doing my hair for over 7 years! She is amazing with hair cuts and one of the best with color. She also knows how to blow dry my hair so it looks it’s best! If only I could make my hair look as good as she does.
If you are looking for an expert that does it all this is the place!

She uses platinum sable and faux minx for lashes.
According to her, sable lashes are close to real lashes, dark black & thinner and softer. As for the minx, it seems to be more popular in America — since sable may be too soft.
I can’t wait to try the glamorous which is 3D lash!
My gosh, she makes this new adventure worthwhile :)
