Let me start by disclosing that not only I am a licensed California real estate broker who has owned and operated a property management business in the recent past, but my family is in the property management business in Northern California, too. A few years ago, I chose to shift my focus from property management to sales, and when I broke the news to my property management clients, I referred them to several different local management firms. Without exception, all my clients were disappointed in the service they received from their new management companies.
