We are David and Steven Glickman, father and son partners of one of the most established trial law practices in Los Angeles County.

Business Owner

Born in 1957 — the year his father graduated law school — Steven C. Glickman was no doubt destined to follow in his father’s legal footsteps. Gracing his baby book photo album is a picture of him holding a gavel with a UCLA pennant in the background. Mr. Glickman graduated from UCLA in 1979 Magna Cum Laude. He then graduated from the UCLA School of Law in 1982 where he was honored with a special award for «excellence in preparation for trial practice of the law».

Since that time, Mr. Glickman has done more than live up to that award. He became one of the youngest members admitted to the American Board of Trial Advocates, a national organization requiring the demonstration of extensive jury trial expertise prior to admission. In fact, when he joined his father, David Glickman, as a member of ABOTA in 1993, Steven and David became the first father/​son members of the Los Angeles Chapter of ABOTA and the second father/​son team in the entire nation.

Won’t get into detail — write me if you want to know them. Steve Glickman, Jr. does NOT understand head injuries. Never deposed the defendant in my case, even though we were in litigation for three years and went to trial. STAY AWAY!!!

Here is the truth for those who have not dealt with lawyers– call GLICKMAN. I had a personal injury case that was recently settled. Whenever I called Steve with a question, he returned my call that same day (very rare). He confidently told me to hold out and be patient. He was right. There are not many out there who keep both their word and integrity, Steve held both. I must add, it was a time consuming pain for all involved, yet with Steves’ calm and reassuring demeanor, I never felt worried. Don’t waste time with shysters, see a real lawyer. Paul Zawadsky

I contacted Glickman and Glickman A Law Corporation last week regarding the Legal Malpractice Case what was filed by other attorney. I wrote a short case summary, posted it VIA website and oh boy… what a great service. I say ‘what a great service’ because everybody knows what a pain is dealing with attorneys. It’s beyond difficult to find professional, ethical and reliable legal representation but based on the email I received from Steve Glickman — he’s the one — seriously. I received the response without delay and lucky me, he was willing to evaluate my complicated case.

It’s very difficult to find a Lawyer these days that actually CARES about people. An Attorney that treats you like family, answers all your questions, takes the time to listen, responds very quickly and fights hard for you. Steve Glickman is truly someone I will go to in the future if ever I run into another situation where I need to be represented. I can go on and on about how satisfied I am with Glickman and Glickman and would recommend them to anyone that asks including family and friends.

When my Bay Area attorney decided it was impractical to handle a case in Los Angeles, he put me in touch with Glickman and Glickman. As a previous reviewer mentioned, Steve Glickman and his father David are well known and respected in the legal community.
Early in my case, their firm assumed the cost of an expensive scientific procedure. That’s one example of how they put the client first. I have not had the privilege of meeting David or Mr. Shepard but I can attest that Steve, besides being thorough, adds the personal touch and always maintains a sense of humor. Steve’s assistant is also very on top of things and easy to work with.
Many of their clients are people who could not ordinarily afford an attorney. Validity of the case is what takes precedence. I find it curious that a negative review came from a non-​client. The Glickmans will not take a case unless they believe it could be won at trial. Their advice is always sound and if they do take your case, you will be well represented.

Not only is Steve glickman is an outstanding attorney, he is a great person. he handle my medical malpractice case with maximum efficiency and low stress. He is a caring person and really gets to know you and your situation. I was amazed at how respected he was in the legal community from ventura to Los Angeles. Steve made my spine injuries and my comfort a top priority when appointments were made.
I would highly recommend steve glickman as your first choice for personal injuries with in the scope of his practice.

NO one wants to hire a Lawyer.
Do EVERYTHING you can to try to settle your dispute — but sometimes you just can’t.
Even before you try to work out an agreement you BOTH hate (which I think defines a compromised resolution), DO sit down for a consultation with an Attorney. Consider your back-​up Plan.
An attorney is as effective as the Staff and ‘Case System’ he has put in place. It is with knowledge of their Office and Case Management that I recommend you call the Glickman and Glickman Offices.
Steve Glickman has represented me and members of my family in Real Estate, Property Damage, Personal Injury and Fraud, (thank goodness we have only been Plaintiffs).
Steve excels in Negotiations; but the word on Steve is that he REALLY goes to it in a Courtroom.
What I know, because our Cases were settled before the first witness was called; is that he makes an impressive Courtroom impression, with his boxes of evidence/​exhibits and Courtroom Charts and Displays.
And he knows EVERYONE.
And EVERYONE knows him! This is more than helpful as you wind your way through the system while living through an emotionally charged time —
I almost don’t need to mention the Pedigree of Lawyers at Glickman and Glickman …
I like to imagine that over the water cooler they discuss our cases; playing devil’s advocate, getting ideas, strategy …
I HOPE I never NEED to see any of the Glickman’s again (professionally); but, I know life isn’t like that and when I call — Steve Glickman will LISTEN, patiently, be there, for advice and God forbid, more — if needed.

I had the worst experience with this firm. On 10÷30÷13 I contacted his office and spoke to his assistant, Lupe. I let her know that I had a medical malpractice case and could overnight the info for Steve Glickman’s review. I went to UPS that afternoon and sent the package overnight. On 11÷15÷13 I left a message with Lupe to check on the status of the review with Steve. She said she would give him the message to call me. On 12÷10÷13 I called and spoke to Lupe again and told her he hadn’t called me and requested my package be sent back to me. She apologized for Steve not calling me and said she would send my info back to me. On 12÷14÷13 I received the package with a letter signed by Steve letting me know that my request for my info was enclosed and «wishing me the best». Steve Glickman was highly recommended to me by to very reputable attorneys in Ventura for medical malpractice. I would never recommend anyone to this man. I had a deadline for a court date in March 2014 and needed an attorney asap. I have a exceptional case and found an exceptional attorney. If you’re looking for an exceptional medical malpractice attorney, contact Linda Fermoyle Rice of Rice & Bloomfield. I guarantee you, you will be very happy. If you choose to use Steve Glickman, «I wish you the best!» I only gave him one star, because I had to. If I could, it would have been a «no» star rating.
