Very high class and nice. Came with my girlfriend for the first time and Nancy helped us out with our mani pedi and I had a very great experience! She was nice and very friendly and caring.

Tom is fantastic for mani-​pedis. He’s perfect with his attention to detail. They are always good about accommodating your schedule.

I have been coming here for years and it is a real class act. It used to be a lot larger but now it is very classy and intimate. The prices are affordable and the help is super friendly. This is probably the best and most affordable salon in town.

Been seeing Kathy at Elegant Nails for many years now and I really won’t let anyone else touch my feet/​toes. She is extremely thorough and always does a perfect job. My feet like a newborn every time I leave. Kelly typically does my nails and she also does an excellent job, but honestly everyone who works there does a good job. The prices are a bit higher than other nail shops (especially for gel) but they use top drawer products and my manicure typically lasts a week and my pedicure for 3 weeks.

I’ve been going to Lynn at elegant nails for @15 years! She is simply amazing! She is incredibly thorough, paying special attention to details I’ve not seen anywhere else. She’s sweet and easy to be with. Her pedicures last well over a month & I’m always so happy when I’m done:) I smile for days after. When Lynn isn’t available I see Tom who is equally amazing! He gives an amazing massage & fantastic pedicure!!!

Called at 530pm on Monday to see if I could come In at 6pm for a pedicure. They said no problem.
I arrived a couple minutes early. They had me pick a color and seated with no wait. I always appreciate not having to wait.
Got a standard pedicure. The woman was VERY thorough. She made sure my cuticles were nicely trimmed and everything looked perfect. She also asked several times if it felt OK, which I appreciated. I’ve been to too many places where they just dig into your toes and pretend like nothing happened. Not here. She was very gentle and made sure I was comfortable. Polish also looked great when she was done.
Overall, great experience. I will be back.

Had some time to kill so decided to get my nails done on a Tuesday night. I tried Marie Nails and Q Salon but they were booked. I called Elegant Nails and they said they were open and available. It was empty when I arrived.
Décor looked a bit dingy. Music mix was a bit weird. I felt a little out of my element while sitting here. Color selection was good but I showed my technician a picture from Unilocal that I wanted and she tried to make it look the same but it just wasn’t quite there. I feel like some of the pictures on this Unilocal page is not from them.
Technician was really nice, however she had a weird technique in painting my nails. One finger from each hand at a time. I’m used to the technician painting one hand and then switching, but doing this one finger switch was a bit annoying since I had to keep moving it into the light machine.
I don’t think I’ll return but it definitely wasn’t my worst experience.
TIPS:
— Metered parking until 6pm and then it’s free.
— Gel manicure came out to $ 37
— CASH ONLY I didn’t know that so I had no cash on me, but they have an ATM machine on site ($ 0.50 charge).

Literally the worst gel manicure/​manicure I’ve ever had in my life. Went in thinking it would be great based on the reviews but they must be having their friends post them. It was dirty — the floors were disgusting, no sterile equipment & overall just cluttered/​disorganized. There was no music on & it was awkwardly quiet. When I made a comment the owner got up, stomped over to turn the radio on then stomped back & plopped down in her seat & went back to playing with her iPad. They had me sit with the light on my lap which was hot as F. Not to mention it took 14 tries for the light to turn on & then it turned off every 3 minutes. Maybe that’s why my nails look so terrible now? It’s only been 9 days & they are a complete disaster. By day 5 they were already lifting & bc she didn’t do anything with my cuticles they look terrible as well. Never again will I go back. Ever. Do yourself a favor & go anywhere but here!

The service was nice but I wanted to get a manicure and a wax but the esthetician was off that day. Hmph.
Also, their colors were a little limited.

I know this is insane for a guy to write a review for a nail salon but I love the owner and staff and at first I would just tag along with my wife and now I am gettin my nails game tight! They have A+ service, their prices are fair, and they are so nice! Check them out!!!

I cannot recommend Elegant Nails enough. Nancy has COMPLETELY changed my nails.
For the past year I’ve been living in NYC and travelling often to LA for work. I stumbled upon this place on one of those visits. THANK GOD.
Before coming to Nancy I had terrible nails. My entire life they were torn below the nail bed, brittle and painful with cuticles peeling down towards my knuckles and bleeding. It looked as if animals fed on fingers as I slept. Even with my biweekly NYC manicures polish stood no chance and chipped within a day. My father once told me it looked like my nails were rotting off my fingers. In the past, I would start every manicure by saying «I’m sorry» knowing that my nails would be the most difficult project of that poor woman’s day. And they always knew it too – I’ve heard my nails complained about in English, Korean, Nepali, and Spanish.
Nancy is the owner of this salon. She’s really sweet and smart. Most importantly she runs her business honestly. She makes sure to do what’s best for the customer so you trust her and keep coming back. She will never try to sell you something you don’t need or overcharge you. She treats every nail differently. Nancy just knows what you need.
On my first visit she explained what my former manicurists had been doing to contribute to my problem nails. She showed me how they had over-​trimmed my cuticles and broken the cuticule line. She then slightly trimmed them and told me I needed to grow them back. It was the first time someone had given me any hope that I could someday not have the hands of a tweaking meth addict raver boy on his 8^th day without sleep.
Nancy told me if I came back to her once every 2 weeks she could change my nails. And I did. And she did. I totally trust this woman. In the past 4 month my nails have become beautiful. I’m truly astonished. People compliment me on them all the time. IT’S CRAZY!!! My nails were so bad. Last week a man I’ve only known for a month looked at my hands and said «One thing that really impresses me about you is how nice your nails always look. Girls these days always have chipped and stubby ones like they just don’t care» I was like «You have no clue. You should’ve met me in February. Also don’t judge these chicks, it’s not their fault that they havent met Nancy yet.»
I know that this all sounds shallow and my tomboy mother would cringe if she read this. I’d like to think I’m above caring about how my fingernails look but having presentable hands is nice, it helps you look clean, put together, and more respectable. It’s also just cool to not have the same hands as person who clawed their way out of being buried alive.
Two weeks ago I moved to LA permanently. As ridiculous as is sounds, Elegant Nails may just have been the item on my pros and cons list that tipped me over to one side.
Nancy is the best. She did the impossible, she made my short stubby nails grow. Now if only she could do something about my short stubby A cup boobs.

I have been visiting this salon bi-​weekly for nearly ten years. When I moved to L.A., I tried out several salons before settling on this one for my regular mani-​pedis. Nancy is the owner and she is fantastic. Cathy does my pedi and she is a sweetheart. This is certainly not the least expensive place in town, but it’s not the most expensive either. And Nancy uses the highest quality nail products and is always up on the latest nail trends. I am happy to pay a little extra for the assurance that I’m getting the good stuff!

The owners are so sweet. Very happy people. Tom did an organic gel full-​set on me and they look beautiful!

Love this nail salon. Have been going there for about a decade. Lein is my go-​to but everyone there is great. Lein listens to my very picky wishes and makes me happy every time. I can’t imagine going any where else. The place is always very clean, and well-​kept. I wish they would offer more up-​to-​date colors, but I usually bring my own polish with me so it’s OK. Give them a try. I think you’ll be pleased.

I was visiting a friend last weekend in LA and decided to get a mani-​pedi with her. My friend who used to live in BH referred me to this place. She said, «It’s a hidden gem! You will absolutely love them!» And she was totally right. When my friend and I came in, we were greeted with a smile. We felt so welcomed! I love how they take their time perfecting every nail, trying to initiate small talks and giving tips on how to take better care of your nails. Did I mention the price? It’s so affordable! It’s even cheaper than the place I usually go to here in San Jose. It was such a lovely visit! The downside was the street parking — not a fan, but it’s all good. I will be in the area again in 2 weeks and will wait to get my mani & pedi there!

Over priced, with a messy job. And no parking, you have to pay the meter at least $ 4. Enough said?

Every once in a while I go somewhere else on a whim and I always regret it. Tom is the man. All the girls are very nice, very efficent, and make sure you are getting exactly what you want. The price is very reasonable as well.

I have been getting my nails done from this salon for many years and I love the place. The staff are all very nice, the owner is a sweetheart and my nails always look beautiful.
The salon is always clean, beautiful and well kept, I trust that their equipment is always kept very clean.

I have tried them all and Elegant Nails is by far the best. Kelly gives the best manicure and it’s next to impossible to keep my cuticles at bay. Tom’s pedicure is so great. I love the people here and it is clean and lovely and they have parking in the back!

I have been coming to this nail place for 6 years and it’s the only place I trust for my pedicure. I have very deep nail beds and often have to deal with in-​grown toenails (gross I know), but such is my fate. Tom is a master at keeping painful in-​grown nails at bay. I come here every other week and the people who work here have become a family to me. I get my manicure at various other places, but on that end, Lynn is the best according to my friend Heather. It’s not the newest or the cleanest place, but I will never go anywhere else.
