Edward Ines, DDS

I visited Dr Ines today as my first visit and had an extremely pleasant experience! The office is spanking clean, Teresa the secretary was an absolute doll and Dr. Ines was amazing. They started with exrays, listened to all of my concerns, and Dr Ines explained with patience and detail everything on the exrays. I highly recommend Dr. Ines as he moves forward with the least invasive intervention in treating his patients. Super professional!!!

I was a huge fan of Dr. Ines up until my last visit. I had a small filling on the cheek side of a molar fall out and Ines put in a new one: no X-​ray, no anesthesia, no little form band or wedge thingies. It took him all of five minutes.
His front desk woman told me it would be just under $ 200 bucks. When I said that seemed a little steep, my plan doesn’t cover it, could she ask Ines if he could maybe lower it a bit, instead of asking him or just remaining professional and saying she understood (who doesn’t understand the high cost of stuff not covered by your insurance???) but she was sorry, she starts to LECTURE me on Ines’ expertise and college experience and how I should know better.
She ends with, I kid you not, «If you don’t want to pay for all this, maybe you should go to Western Dental.» This is in front of people: another patient and the other front desk girl whom I’d never met.
I told Ines what happened and he never got back to me. Guess I don’t pay enough to matter.
And now that the edge of the filling seems to be eroding and I’m having pain, less than a month after my tongue lashing, maybe I will go somewhere else. Ridiculous.

I had to write, after seeing a couple of one stars, and all of the rest 5. Like some others, we found Dr. Ines at the beginning of his career, so our family has been seeing him for 22 or 23 years. I would never go to another dentist. Prior to Dr. Ines, I had some very intense dental experiences. Dr. Ed is so gentle and somehow has a touch that is as soft as Charmin. I was so traumatized by other dentists, that when I needed a procedure that he doesn’t normally do, he could see that I was so terrified of somebody else, he did it himself. Dr. Ed had done many things when he worked in the jungles of South America — so it wasn’t like he had never done it, but it just wasn’t something he regularly does. Since that time, when he has had to refer me to a specialist, he makes sure that it is a fit for me. Lori his office manager is terrific. I am not sure which receptionist the one star reviewers are referring to, but I have never had anyone be anything but professional with me. Dr. Ed is a responsible person. I do remember a hygienist that was not as gentle as the others have been, but she was not with Dr. Ed very long. Dr. Ed insists on quality.

This office has gone way down hill. The new receptionist is passive aggressive. At least their last one was just aggressive lol. The quality of the work has also gone down hill. Too bad. I never thought I would switch, but I have. There are many better places to go.

I found Dr. Ines through Unilocal about 7 years ago … And I have been in love with him, his office, his dental hygienists (they are all so nice, gentle and careful — like angels feathers on my gums), and his wonderful front office staff. I wouldn’t even consider going elsewhere… not in a million years. My reluctant spouse finally tried Dr. Ines too — and was hooked instantly as well. What’s not to LOVE! He is an AMAZING Bev Hills dentist. 10 stars +!!

Up until my late twenties, I had the same dentist, in Connecticut. Finding one out here has been a little rough. Finally, I was referred to Dr. Ines, it was meant to be. The staff is wonderful, from Theresa who picks up the phone, Claudia his assistant, and the hygienist Sara, all amazing & accommodating.
I have found my new dental home…

Friendly staff, great personalty I was referred to him by my father and I am glad I went. He does great work and is a very friendly doctor. Not cold like some doctors I have seen has a very warm personalty and the staff there great you with smiles

The most wonderful dental office I have ever been to. Everyone there is so kind. As for Dr ines he is truly a artist

Dr Ines is a fabulous dentist! He is patient, gentle and cares about his clients.
I’ve been seeing him for over three years and have always had good experiences. I’ve had multiple teeth cleanings and I had him make retainers.
The location in Beverly Hills is very convenient but I recommend you park in one of the 2-​hour free lots as the lot closest to the building is very expensive.
I’ve always found visiting this office pleasant, especially considering going to the dentist is not always at the top of my list!

I’ve been under Dr. Ines supervision and care for a good 4 years now and every single visit is a pleasure! He is very skilled, experienced, genuine, very personal dentist with a big heart who cares about your health and wants to make sure that you will be satisfied with all the work and treatments. Dr. Ines have done so many recoveries and total makeovers for my teeth, literally giving them a new life. And I absolutely love how all 3 crowns turned out for me: perfect shape, matching color, look exactly as natural teeth and since he installed them I never had any issues. For all this time all his team of professionals were nothing but great! Big love to Carol, Claudia, Lily, Laurie and Theresa!

Great dentist, great staff, won’t try and rob you like some dentists. If you don’t need it he won’t offer it.

Dr Ines is awesome and so is his staff. Been going for years and always pros.

This review is only for the receptionist. Dr. Ines seemed very nice and competent, and in fact I would see him again if he got someone else to schedule his appointments.
I was running late to my appointment, which was at 9:45AM, due to traffic. As a courtesy, I called to apologize while I was in the car an told them I would be there as soon as I could. Upon arriving, I was scolded and glared at by the receptionist, who told me, «you might be new but we run things ON TIME here.» Well, I’m sorry, but this is LA and you’re not paying me to be here — I’M PAYING YOU — so if I hit traffic and am a few minutes late I’m not going to made to feel bad about it. I was surprised at her reaction, but tried to brush it off. I had a nice visit with Dr. Ines and made an appointment for my husband to have a cleaning the next week.
When I got home my husband realized that he had a meeting the same morning I made his cleaning appointment for. He called, got the same receptionist, and apologized that he would need to reschedule. Right after he said he would need to cancel, he heard a huge sigh of annoyance on the other end of the line, and then the receptionist hung up on him! Thinking it must have been a mistake he called back only to get the voicemail. He called back several times and left several messages asking to make another appointment, but no one has ever called him back. We’ve called multiple times over the next two days to try to get someone on the phone but its as if our calls are being blocked! I can’t imagine that they actually screen calls but it sure does feel like it — just for being a few minutes late and having to reschedule an appointment!
Dr. Ines may be good but its not worth going somewhere that treats us with such disrespect!

Dr. Ines is as good as it gets! and not only is he great, but he also referred me to two other dentists for special procedures and they were fantastic too!
He makes you feel like he has all the time in the world for you, answers questions, and always makes sure you are doing okay during the procedure.
I had to have a crown put on after a root canal and they use state of the art technology to create 3D pictures to make sure your tooth fits exactly in line with your other teeth… I’ve never seen anything like it and you would never, ever be able to tell I got a crown!
Lori, the front office manager, and all of the dental assistants and rest of the staff really are the VERY best… I would give 10 stars if I could! Never did I think I would be so excited about a dentist… haha.

I’m ecstatic to have found a truly wonderful /​honest dentist! I was referred to him by many others that are in medicine and rave about how amazing he is & the fact he doesn’t try to over sell you on unnecessary procedures. There is no question he’s the best in Beverly Hills! I didn’t feel any pain and he was so nice and made me comfortable throughout my appointment. His staff is superb and friendly. The office is very clean and he has state of the art equipment. My fear of going to the dentist and dreading it is absolutely gone.

One of the hardest things about moving away from LA was not having Ed as my dentist anymore. I knew it would be extremely difficult to find a dentist that could match him. He is kind, caring, professional and so talented at dentistry. I used to be completely scared of the dentist, but not with Ed. His office is spotless, his staff is great. I have never had a single hesitation about recommending him to a friend, because I know they will only get excellent care from Ed Ines and his staff.

This is the most rude office! I don’t have any comments about the Dentist because I wasn’t even able to make an appointment. I left 2 messages regarding making an appointment and never got a return call. When I called the 3^rd time Lori hung up on me, called back, Lori hung up on me again, called several more times & Lori kept hanging up on me! I guess Lori doesn’t want Dr. Ines to see any more patients. Wow!

The ABSOLUTE BEST Dentist I’ve ever been to. And I have enough metal in my mouth to be Robocop, so trust me. I cant even say how obsessed I am with Dr Ines. Him and his whole staff are very nice, efficient, timely, and painless! I just got back from getting a crown put on. I broke my tooth yesterday and by 11am today I had a crown?! Thats because he owns a machine that will custom make a perfect porcelain crown while you wait. No more 2 weeks and temporary caps while a lab somewhere makes thousands off a tiny piece of porcelain. He cares so much about his patients and what he does. There’s a reason his Unilocal reviews are this good… He is incredible. Go to him.
And brush and floss.
But then if you don’t do that enough and you get cavities… REALLY GO!

Dr. Ines is the best dentist ever! I went to see him this week and it was literally, the best dental experience I’ve ever had. First, just making the appointment was convenient and friendly. The receptionist was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful.
On the day of my visit, we started off with some x-​rays. Rose, the dental hygienist, was as sweet as pie. It was really cute how after each x-​ray she would run back to me to quickly remove the mouth piece and make sure I was comfortable. Furthermore, she knew what she was doing. She was able to state what she thought was wrong by initially looking at the x-​rays and then the dentist confirm almost all of her theories. This says two things to me: 1. she is competent at her job, but 2. she is also interested in her job. I know that may not seem like something that one might consider when going to any doctor’s office, but seeing as how I am a professional who is sort of in the same situation as her (i.e. able to make assessments, but then have to confirm with a higher authority) I felt comfortable in this woman’s hands.
Now, as for Dr. Ines himself — absolutely amazing. He went over each one of my x-​rays with me, explained what was wrong and what needed to be done. We came up with a game plan, he did a little filing on a tooth for me and ta-​da! Done. I went back up to the receptionist, we went over the game plan, financials and insurance.
I’m psyched to have Dr. Ines as my dentist and I look forward to going to my next appointment.

You really cannot beat Dr. Ines, Laurie, hygienist Lily or any of the staff at Dr. Ines. The friendliest, most comforting dental office I’ve ever experienced.
I had not been to the dentist in a good 6 – 7 years, and, being British, I had an innate fear of anyone going near my mouth (with surgical instruments anyway). Dr. Ines did something that prevented me from having a root canal (he used some special healing solution on the tooth) and was just so gentle and calming. No gas was needed!
Lily, the hygienist, did not give me a lecture on how or how not to brush and how often to floss. She simply said everything was fixable and put me on a dental program.
Now I still don’t love going to the dentist, but I really don’t mind. I even went off-​insurance to visit Dr. Ines and for a Beverly Hills location dentist he really is quite quite reasonable.
Truly a must!!!
