This is literally the worst major company I have ever dealt with! I’ve been getting removal sessions for over 4 years now and they told me it would only take 16 months! Not only that, I’ve had laser hair removal & photo facials here that did not work either! They got a new laser and didn’t know how to work it properly I guess. They kept saying lets just keep trying it but I had already had 2 treatments with this machine that were very painful with no results!!! I spent over $ 3,000 here with no real results. When I try to talk with someone they just say I’m sorry mam you’ve used all your sessions. Like honestly, you would think they would try to do something to help a client that tried 3 different treatments with them but nothing. I’m soooo disappointed and I don’t understand why they are so unprofessional.

I had a small tattoo on my left rib area. It was SMALL. I was told this would take 12 sessions. Fourteen sessions later, scarring and wasted time the tattoo was maybe 5% removed. I asked what the deal was and I was told some reason I hadn’t heard until that day. I was very unhappy that they couldn’t just tell me from the beginning that this was going to happen. I didn’t mind coming in and having a session but the fact they tried to get around it by giving me some lame excuse after was very annoying. Maybe this doesn’t happen to everyone but it happened to me. I highly suggest going to different tattoo removal places and getting consultations from all of them. Also highly consider cover up tattoos as well. Thanks.

I used to go to the Dr. Tattoff in Santa Ana but I just moved to LA and this one is now the closest to me. As for the company, this is a great place to get your tattoo removed. There’s a few locations in LA/OC and the price is pretty reasonable. It’s expensive, but it’s cheaper than most of the other places you’d go to get a tattoo removed.
I really like the Santa Ana location MUCH better. Right off the bat, this one isn’t the greatest. They don’t validate parking (they used to, but not anymore), it’s not as nice of a facility and the employees weren’t very welcoming. They just seemed like they didn’t care about me and they were just there to do their job and get it done, which is fine, but the Santa Ana location is much better. I just feel more welcome there.
If you’re coming here, be sure to park at a meter in the neighborhood and skip the structure because they won’t validate it.

From day 1 they made my experience as pleasurable as can be. Laser tattoo removal is never fun but they made the pain less painful. If I needed a break, I would get a break. It’s been a few years now since I finished my treatments and both my friends and I forget that I ever had a tattoo. I especially liked how they told me to buy the package that I needed and if I needed more sessions they would be on the house. I did need the extra sessions and I was glad I didn’t have to pay extra for them. I highly recommend Dr. Tattoff for tattoo removal.

Really great and efficient service! The staff is so friendly and knowledgable! They’re experts at what they do. Everyone made me feel at ease and comfortable and answered all my questions! I’ve had one session so far and I’m very excited to continue my tattoo removal process here at Dr. Tattoff.
I recommend using the numbing cream before sessions. Also, the sunscreen is AMAZING!

Dr. Ripoff…went in for my 6 sessions… til this day my tiny tat I have on my arm is still visible!!! The technician ask me if its I’m ok with white scar? And she ask what kind of laser should be use? WTF??? What a waste of money!!! This Dr. Ripoff is a scam!!!

This review is based on how corporate treats their customers
I had an appointment ²⁄₂₃ at the Tempe Location and luckily I called beforehand to make sure Holly was working because I found out NO ONE is working because it is permanently CLOSED!!! I got no email or call letting me know or canceling my appointment and now I have no idea where treatment will take place or if it will because I have paid in full. No one is returning calls or messages. I have submitted complaints, negative reviews and a BBB complaint case. There are others in my exact situation with no information. This is ridiculous that you treat your customers this way.

Can’t say that I’m happy with the service here. I paid an arm and a leg to remove my sleeves and was told that all creams or medications I would need would be included in the package I paid for, however it is only my third session coming here and the staff has already changed completely, and I go and ask for more cream and they try and charge me! That is ridiculous! I paid so much! Also the last session I had I felt the laser was tuned up wayyy too high in comparison to the other two times I came with completely different nurses, could have been dangerous I actually had like bleeding/bruising marks on my arms, didn’t look safe. They need to stop being so corporate and retain the same staff, it is ridiculous.

This is my first Unilocal review. I never thought I would actually feel the need to write a review, however, after my appointment here today, I couldn’t help but want to voice my frustrations. I’ve been getting treated here for over a year now. And every time I have to wait at least 20 – 30 minutes. They’re scheduling system is ridiculous. 3 people can be scheduled at the same time which was the case today. I waited 40 minutes in the waiting room, along with 9 other people, before I was seen and my appointment takes less than 5 minutes. I work in the dental field and our patients never wait that long. We have respect for other people’s time and if we are running late we always let the patients know in advance. If anyone understands falling behind schedule it’s me, I’m a dental hygienist! But to do this repeatedly at every appointment and make us wait about 30 minutes is disrespectful and unprofessional. Super disappointed with the way this place is run.

I arrived early to sign and got seen on time 3:45pm and got treated only a few minutes after apt time. Dont understand the reasoning behind the other post. First time and first session. Went by fast. The numbing is definitely recommended. The laser is no joke. The staff was very polite. Nice experience. It’s too early to see a massive difference, but I’m confident after all the sessions that the tattoo will be significantly gone.

I love this place. I went in for a consultation and got care credit to make payments on my tattoo removal. I ended up starting the tattoo removal process that day on both my feet and my wrist. The numbing cream doesn’t seem to work as the laser was EXTREMELY painful; probably the worst pain I have ever experienced. However, it goes by really fast. Everyone in the office was extremely friendly, from the receptionist to Evelyn to the nurse Marie. Everyone is super sweet and professional. I can’t wait to go back again, except I am not looking forward to the pain :/

Ever since my consultation 3 years ago, the staff at Dr. Tattoff have been nothing but professional and accommodating! The tattoo artist tattooed the purple permanent ink into my skin with white ink and ever since it left a dingy stain. During the consultation they informed me that it might take longer than they suggested, it was an experiment for both parties because they hadn’t seen anything like it. Three years later we are still trying to get rid of the tattoo but it’s fading nicely. Best of all I haven’t had to pay for the extra services because of their contract. I definitely recommend this location!

Highly satisfied with the results and service at Dr Tattoff. Had a tattoo fully removed, it’s now practically invisible even though I had blues and greens which are generally harder to get out. They anticipated my needing 9 treatments and my tattoo was fully gone after only 7, so they refunded me the balance of the two unused treatments since I had pre-paid. The service from the manager and technicians was always friendly and professional. Would highly recommend for tattoo removal services.

Hey folks. This is my wife’s account just for the record. I’ve never written a review before but I had to about my experience at Dr. Tattoff. I completed my last treatment a few days ago and man am I relieved. The tattoo that I got treated is removed but not completely. See, how it works is they estimate how many treatments you need to remove the tat. Then they wait six months after your last treatment for your body to remove the little that is left. The science has been vetted by the way.
If after those six months and it’s not completely gone then they will do treatments for FREE until it is!
Guys come on now, it’s like going to a restaurant and paying for food and the server says to you that if you’re not full you can have another entrée until you are, at no additional charge.
Shot out to Evelyn (ask for her when you call) she was great during the initial consultation all the way to the end. She got me a great deal. They have promotions more times that you may think. Shot out to the whole staff. They are a group of young and professional women. I emphasize PROFESSIONAL because I am tired of doing business with boutique businesses that don’t treat you like a true customer because they don’t have the fire under their asses to do so because they don’t have thousands of stockholders to make happy.
My experience here was completely different. The environment and people are SO pleasant and caring. And they validate parking!
Yea, the treatments can hurt a bit but you can get numbing cream to ease the pain. At least they call you a day or two after to check on you and make sure you’re ok and to see if you have any questions. Customer service here is top notch and consistent.
Think no further, make the call and at least get a consultation.

I purchased the $ 50 for $ 100 Unilocal deal a lifetime ago, and last Saturday I finally went to Dr. Tattoff for my initial consultation for tattoo removal. In my case, I have a lower back tattoo that I’d like to have lightened (but not completely removed) so that a cover-up tattoo can eventually go in its place.
The staff at this particular location were all wonderful. They really do help put your mind at ease, because MAN did that laser hurt! I even had the numbing cream applied prior. I think that the noise from the machine amplified the sensation for me. Thankfully, though, it was brief. Marie explained the whole process to me, and was as nice as can be :)
So yeah. It’ll probably hurt. Not gonna lie. But if you want to get your tattoo removed, I definitely recommend you come here!

Just had my second visit for a tattoo removal and I had to write a review. First things first, call them, make an appointment, and take advantage of the free consultation!
The staff here is very professional and well informed. They helped me get a care credit card so I could make payments with zero interest for a year.
Not going to lie, the process is not painless. But, during the procedure, the technician is fast and conscientious. Anytime I need a quick break, she’s quick to respond and always looking out for my best interest and my comfort. And honestly, during this experience, what more can you ask for?

Everyone has been very friendly and professional. The treatment goes by super fast, unfortunately it is taking much longer than I anticipated to get rid of my tattoo. They have a new laser which seems to give much better results, but it is causing my skin to turn white. They have been very careful to not over expose that and watch my pigmentation– which I am so thankful for!!! They are also great at following up with me to make sure that I don’t have any blistering.
I would definitely recommend them.

Approximately, two years ago, I stumbled across this location via Google. Since it’s close to home, I decided to drop in for a consultation. The consultation was initiated with a really nice nurse whom thoroughly explained the tattoo removal process and that price point was based on size, color, location, etc. Immediately after, I had the opportunity to meet with Evelyn Pleitez, who manages the actual booking process. Evelyn was very thorough and provided a quote for my hand, and a tattoo on my shoulder blade.
At the time, I opted to start by purchasing the package for my hand (6 sessions) and I had my first treatment that very same day. The discomfort wasn’t too bad during the actual laser procedure. The experience thus far could not have been better. The tattoos on my hand are almost completely gone! With this said, I have just made arrangements to begin the removal process of the tattoo on my shoulder blade.
All the staff is truly amazing here! They all have genuine interest in their clients and always strive to ensure they are 100% satisfied!

What I respect most about Dr. Tattoff and his staff is their honesty. I was previously treated for a tattoo removal that seemed infinite without a prognosis of when this ink would be completely removed, but they kept booking me to return.
Dr. Tattoff & his staff agreed to treat me, but I was informed by the nurse at Dr. Tattoff’s office that the first treatment (Tx) was only to see if there was any chance for a realistic plan of care to completely remove my ink.
In summary I paid for 5 Tx and was informed after the first Tx that I’d need a miracle. I was given my money back and left there with a thorough understanding of the healing process when it comes to laser and what to do in the future to avoid this type of mistake again. Although my situation did not have a happy ending, I appreciate the way this establishment does business and would gladly recommend them to anyone.
