I would give 100 stars if I could!
Sama carries only the BEST of the BEST! Loree Rodkin –perfumer (oh-​how I love Gothic 1 and 2), jeweler for the rock stars and Badgley Mischka (which is sadly being discontinued). However, you have to pay to look good! 300 – 900 dollars a pair.
When you are checking out your celebrity fashions and you see cool specs or shades most of the time it will be from SAMA!!! Miley Cyrus, Ashton Kutcher, Tom Cruise, Angelina Jolie, Eva Langoria, Mickey Rourke, Robert Downey Jr., Jessica Alba, Princess Caroline, Heidi Klum, Sandra Bullock, P Diddy, Lebron James, Charlize Theron, Katherine Heigl, and Bill Gates. Check any of the celebrity sunglass blogs (yes, many exist) and Sama is most talked about.
I feel in LOVE with the Badgley Mischka Victoria eyeglasses. I first spotted them when an attorney met with me in my office. Dorky, I know, I emailed her and tracked down where she purchased her frames. I was CRUSHED to find out they were $ 825.00. I have obsessed over these stunning, vintage looking, bejeweled frames for two years.
I kept checking for sales or possible discounts every so often. I recently heard that SAMA is d/c’ing the Badgley Mischkas. My local store sold their last pair and no more were to be had. I took a wild chance and emailed SAMA directly. Within one hour I had a call from Darlene who confirmed the sad news of the discontinuation. She stated she could however sell me a pair at a deep discount. Even with a deep discount it was still very pricy… I’m telling you these glasses are like a piece of jewelry.
Later that night I noticed an urgent email from Darlene (my new Angel)! She stated that SAMA’s charity organization, the Sam Vance Organization, is having a charity sale this Friday! All Badgley Mischkas will be sold for… wait for it… seventy five dollars! Bless you Darlene!!! You made two years worth of dreams come true!!! I even got to purchase them presale. I have never had such outstanding customer service anywhere.
So, if the celebrities and stellar customer service did not sell you on SAMA alone… this should seal the deal! The Sam Vance Foundation was established in 1997 by Sheila Vance (founder of SAMA) in memory of her son Sam, who lost his life to heroin experimentation while a nineteen-​year-​old college freshman at U.C.L.A. Very cool glasses and sunglasses! I really was impressed by the 24k gold, encrusted with diamonds, delicious!

this place has a very large selection of shades. The customer service is very good– the manager let me order what ever style of frame that I wanted — and which ever shade of lens. There were a few scratches on my glasses– and I noticed the scratches a few days after. No problem! They custom made a new pair– took 10 days and then called me in to swap. Very good service. The only complaint is that the shades here are high on price– expect to pay $ 400 – 500 per pair.
