Design Sound provides professional live audio services for special events. Whether your celebration is in a ballroom or backyard, a stadium or tent, we work to provide the best sound possible while being sensitive to décor aesthetics, artist riders, and client’s needs.

Our exceptional staff of professional engineers strive to ensure the audio requirements are successful at every event. Always well-​dressed, our team takes pride in their ability to work well under pressure with a friendly attitude.

Working with band, or DJ? We’ve worked with small ensembles to name entertainment and can help ensure you have the proper equipment needed for your performers sound their best at your event.

Planning a party or working with a party planner? We’ve worked with many of the best planners in Southern California and know to work as part of a team. We can help advise you on what you need (and what you don’t need) to get the best sound for your setup and budget.

Looking for specific sound equipment? We have a full line of JBL and QSC loud speakers, Shure wired and wireless microphones, and Soundcraft, Yamaha, Allen+Heath and Behringer digital mixing consoles. We also have connections within the industry to source any other specific gear you may need.

Meet the Manager

Ryan A.

Manager

Ryan Adison Amen is a professional composer, production manager and live-​sound engineer. Whether conducting orchestras, mixing sound, or laughing with his wife and kids, Ryan has an inextinguishable passion to make noise. Since graduating from the University of Southern California in 2003 with a degree in Scoring for Motion Pictures and Television, Ryan has composed and managed music production in nearly all media forms. As a live-​sound engineer, Ryan manages Design Sound, Inc., a sound reinforcement company servicing some of Southern California’s most prestigious events.
