Had a broken onlay… Dr. Sobelman, as always, was efficient, informative. I was in and out in no time and very pleased with his exceptional care.

I have lived in several states, and have always had the privilege of having exceptionally talented, respectable dentists. When I moved from Oklahoma to California in 2007, my partner put me in touch with Dr. Sobelman. I have never been so pleased with a professional recommendation. Dr. Sobelman is soft spoken, gentle, respectful, timely, and has a joyful disposition. More importantly, he has integrity. On more than one occasion he has advised less invasive (and therefore less costly) approaches to my dental care, when he could just as easily performed work that was not essential. For all of the above reasons, I can strongly recommend Dr. Sobelman if you are looking for a dentist with the traits mentioned above! Thank you, Dr. Sobelman — your good work is appreciated and recognized once again!

The way people talk about finding the right «someone» being difficult in LA is how I’ve felt about dentists here for the past 13 years. Insincere, questionable intentions, misrepresentation, or lackluster… Until a mutual friend introduced me to Dr. Sobelman and now I’m lucky enough to call him my dentist. I was turned off by the 30yr old copy of a copy of a copy of a questionnaire that his office sent me requesting such details as «spouse’s driver’s license number, employer and years at job»… However keep faith, that bit of awkwardness is a thin veil over a deep and sincere goodness in Dr. Sobelman’s office. The staff are friendly and helpful, the hygienist, Bonnie, is the friendliest person I’ve ever met, and Dr. Sobelman is friendly, a clear communicator, mellow, and easy to deal with. The whole experience was a pleasure. I look forward to spending the rest of my days having my teeth cleaned by the good people at Dr. Sobelman’s office.

Great customer service! The staff is friendly and so knowledgeable. I am not someone with fears about dentists, but if you were, this team would make you feel very comfortable.
They have you right in, no waiting, help you split up payments, and if you are not happy with something done, they work until you are happy.
Oh, and Bonnie the hygienist is the sweetest and most gentle ever.

I always feel so welcome when I walk in. The ladies at the front are very thorough and professional, and friendly. They are on top of reminders about visits, even offering to make my next appointment as I am leaving one appointment.
There are two hygienists. I visit Bonnie every time. She is so sweet, warm and kind. She writes notes about my life and then remembers to ask me things based on what we talked about the last visit. I love that. It’s the perfect extra touch.
The office is on the tenth floor of an office building at La Cienega and Wilshire. There are great views down La Cienega. Other than outside views, every room has a TV. Great distraction methods from the delicacy of dental cleanings and such. Very smart.
I had Dr. Sobelman do a filling on my upper left this morning. He was so thoughtful. He explained every step to me as he worked. Before and after, he took the time to answer all my questions. I did not feel rushed at all, which is very important to me. He is a very gentle and kind man. Actually during the procedure, I was getting so comfortable, that I was getting sleepy. Is that possible at the dentist?!
Oh, as far as parking. I don’t like to valet park, so I always find a spot a block south on S. Le Doux Rd, just south of Gregory Way. It used to be free, however, the newly installed parking meters charge $ .50/​hour. You can use coins or your credit card.
Anyway, I was recommended this office by my boss. I recommend Dr. Sobelman to everyone I know. I actually keep extra business cards in my wallet so I can give them to my friends.
