Beverly Hills Tailoring

I have gone to this tailor for several years and he is the only one I trust will altering expensive or delicate dresses. He knows exactly how to make a dress look best on your specific figure ms and saves the integrity of a dress even when extensive alterations are required. He is not the cheapest but his services are second to none. I honestly don’t know how I found him but he’s a gem. My whole family now goes to him.

The tailor really understood what I was looking for and even knew which areas of the jacket and pant needed to be pulled in a bit more to fit my physique. It is a bit pricier than many of the other tailors you will find in town, but I’d say it is more of a guarantee… I just wish they offered packages for bulk tailoring and I’d give them 5 stars :-).

I have been going to this tailor for several years and he has always been professional and done excellent work on my clothing. Even for being in the middle of BH, this store offers fair prices for very skilled tailoring. There have been times where I needed things adjusted and never got any attitude or had problems. The owner Art is a good guy, fair, and has good rapport with his customers!

I really like this tailoring shop. They are very friendly and deliver exactly what is requested; on time. I have had suits, jackets and jeans done here without any problem.

The owner is MEAN and a liar! I brought in a dress that I need for a wedding this weekend a week ago and showed him exactly where I wanted it to be shortened to. I had a pin at the bottom holding the fabric where I wanted him to stitch– and even held it up to show him 2 inches max above my knee…
Come in a week later and find he turned my beautiful dress into a SHIRT basically! I was soooo sad! I asked him why he went so short and he claimed this is exactly what I had asked for… which really upset me because it was a lie. I then reminded him of our conversation and he said «when I measured you here (pointing to a mirror I had never stood in front of) I advised you to go longer.» ANOTHER LIE! I explained he has NEVER measured me, and that he claimed to understand where I wanted it to be shortened to (approx 3 – 4 lower then the new length).
I then said we need to come to a solution or compromise because there was no way I was paying full price after he made my dress so short I can’t even wear it anymore (my butt would hang out). He said there was nothing he could do, he didn’t care if he lost my business or anyone else’s, he told me to go ahead and file with the better business bureau, post on Unilocal– he didn’t care.
This guy was a jerk. I tried to reach an understanding, he ruined my dress and even half price would’ve been appreciated. I was so furious I just paid and took my new shirt.
DO NOT GO HERE. He doesn’t care if it’s his fault, he will make up a ridiculous story saying this is what you asked for (even when it’s not).I couldn’t believe his lies… just man up when you have an unhappy customer and admit you may have confused the order.
Word to the wise– go to a different tailor!!!
