Business Owner

John Kahen, M.D., the founder and medical director of Beverly Hills Hair Restoration, is one of the leading hair transplant surgeons to offer natural results using innovative techniques in hair transplant surgery. After meeting with patients, Dr. Kahen focuses on their individual needs and helps each one to achieve his or her specific goals. His treatment plans are customized and include both surgical and non-​surgical options.

Dr. Kahen is a graduate of UCLA. He attended medical school at Ross University School of Medicine where he received his medical degree.

After graduating from medical school, Dr. Kahen pursued his medical training in the field of general surgery at affiliated hospitals of New York University and Albert Einstein College of Medicine. His training is extensive in organ transplant, cosmetic, plastic and reconstructive surgery. He is a member of International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery.

I had three surgeries with Dr Johan Kahen at Beverly Hills hair restoration, none of them went successfully, all of them were revise to previous surgery however, i spent a lot of money but the result was very bad, very very wide scar on back of my head and i don’t know what to do with it. My feeling now is I wish I left hair alone and kept my money,
Dr Johan Kahen is very nice and respectful, but I think he has lake of experience.

I had been looking into getting hair transplants for a while. I had done some research and met with two of the «leading» doctors in the LA area. I was ready to pull the trigger with a big shot in Pasadena when my cousin told me he had his done. I was shocked, I couldn’t tell at all. When he told me how much he paid, I was even more blown away. I immediately made an appointment with Dr. Kahen. It has now been one year, and I could not be happier! I literally was about to spend 3 times as much…3 times with a doctor who I honestly didn’t like, but he’s supposed to be good. Dr. Kahen and his staff were 100% professional and the procedure went very very smooth. I’m heading back just to add some density, but I couldn’t be happier, I feel younger and I like how I look again! I definitely recommend Dr. Kahen and Beverly Hills Hair Restoration

After a whole summer of searching for and meeting doctors to perform this procedure we finally found and met with Dr. Kohen. We just left from my husbands 6mt follow up from his surgery and the before and after pictures are unbelievable! Glad we choose him to work on my hubby’s head :) Also, the staff and service were great! His office is clean and very comfortable considering how long the procedure takes you want to be comfy. The reason I mention that is because we met with some doctors and their office and procedure rooms were not a place you wanted to be for more than 5 minutes let alone the whole day! Do your research as this is not a cheap procedure but I’m sure you will find this doctor to be your best choice and sometime you have to pay more to get better. Highly recommend his work!

Was referred to Dr Kahen by my friend who had a procedure 3 years ago. I had gone to a few places before, but found myself most comfortable with this office and staff. I had my procedure last year and nobobdy can tell. Except people rell me that I look younger, hmmm I wonder why. The staff was great and Dr Kahen’s work is wonderful. I can say truthfully that my wife was very against it from the beginning, but it is something that I have been wanting to do for some time now. The entire process from beginning to end went very smooth. Everyone was very professional and personable.
