Odd place: a bit depressing. And the bagels seem more like rolls than actual bagels, which means I’ll probably never return(not so much starch please!). I can see why reviewers are recommending going to other establishments; this one doesn’t quite get it right, despite a good coffee station and fairly serviceable muffins. However, if you’re getting a cup of coffee to go, you should be ok.

This bagel shop is another great example of «what not to do». The place is FILTHY. Seriously the board of health must have never stopped by. Bugs EVERYWHERE. The staff is more often rude then they are not. They also get the orders WRONG more often than not. I can’t tell how many times I have had to go back to correct a problem. Why is it that no one can run a simple business these days? Case in point is the broken LCD tv with green lines running through it which hasn’t been replaced in the 3 years I have been going there. If the owner doesn’t care then I don’t care to leave a good review. GETYOURACTTOGETHER!!! Side note: The coffee here is good 90% of the time.

Just moved to the neighborhood and just so happened to live down the block Bagels are wonderful and my favorite is the egg everything, I love the in house made ice tea and my sisters alwaysssss order the iced coffee !! Their huge fans !! Never tried the paninis yet but the ham and Swiss cheese melt with garlic butter is AMAZING I could live on those if they didn’t kill me first Only thing I wish was different was that their were fresh pastries in the window instead of 2 – 3 day old baked Danishes and turnover goods. But I’m not coming here for dessert I’m here for a bagel. Friendly staff and pretty fast service! Love my new bagel place in town!

Bagels are bland, uninspired and lack the texture of a quality bagel. The coffee is just ok. I ate here many mornings because I commuted from the Bethpage train station and there aren’t many breakfast options in the area. After plenty of disappointing breakfasts, I finally had enough when I ordered a buttered bagel and got a mouthful of bread. It wasn’t plain, but there was such a negligible amount of butter on this bagel you couldn’t call it a buttered bagel. The counter service is apathetic overall, but once in awhile you’d get a smile from a friendly staffer. I never felt like my business was appreciated. The register has a sign asking you to «respect our $ 10 minimum» when charging your order. How many breakfasts are $ 10 or more? $ 5 seems more reasonable. If you decide to sit down and eat, there’s another sign warning you of their 20 minute seating limit. What’s with all the rules?

Might me the blandest bagel with cream cheese I’ve had on Long Island… how do mess up a bagel? Come to this hack of a bagel shop and find out!

I have to say being in the restaurant service business I was very disappointed. A guest, a paying customer asked the person behind the counter do you charge extra for toasting a bagel? The woman with a blonde ponytail not only was nasty in answering the PAYING customer but was down right mocking the man like she was onstage at the Apollo. The man simply stated you should let people know you charge extra for toasting(because it isn’t posted anywhere on prices) rather than including it in the sandwich price. Very sneaky and it’s 15 cents extra. The amount is not the point here. It’s the sneakiness of it. And the counter person who answered should not be in that position if she can’t handle herself professionally. Not only was she berating the man while he was there she continued to make fun of him after he left. With quotes like«I’ll charge 5 cents extra for asking stupid questions». All the man did was question the sly charge you snuck in but instead of being helpful, and doing what you should in the business apologizing and refunding the charge. You now have lost more guests than you can imagine in all that were there and witnessed the interaction. Including myself, the man who asked and the others surrounding. Their are far too many good Delis in Long Island to give my business to a place where they treat their guests like shit. Never again. Hope the owners read this because the trend of the reviews is disturbing. Your staff is very unprofessional and it’s going to cost you your business.

Rude manager– I paid for extra bacon, and my egg sandwich came with very little. I spoke to the manager about it, and she was very rude to me, and refused to give me my money’s worth. I won’t be back.

The essential bagel place in Bethpage. I would say(and I know many disagree) that Stuff-A-Bagel is better than Bagel Boss in Plainview. Their bagels are great, and they make all kinds of sandwiches and have no problem with customizations. Try the California Turkey on a toasted plain bagel. They are also one of the few places in the area that actually sell Zico Chocolate coconut water. The price is a little on the high side, but the quality is well worth it.

There is a bunch of fucking idiots working there, we get food from there evey week, and they always screw up the order, it must be hard for them to remember to put bacon on a BLT,

Bagels are good. People aren’t super friendly and prices are on the higher side $ 8 for a gourmet omelette is your omelette, home fries, meat, and a bagel/toast option. Not too bad but still a bit on the high side Bagel with lox is like $ 7 but comes with a side salad. Everything in this place just seems to be overpriced. The staff has conversations around customer orders and you barely even get a hi when you order. I came in around 11am on a Friday morning. Not too many people and all I get is a ‘next’!

Been going here for years. Under the old ownership, this place was definitely a 4 star establishment. He was always interacting with his customers, and made you feel welcome. The new owners have been there for about a year and a half now, and it’s just a run of the mill bagel place that has some deserts and chopped salads. Not amazing, not terrible… Just average. For a quick lunch stop off, it’s ok. I will say however that their buffalo chicken salad is great!

Bagels are good although not as good as Bagel Boss in Hicksville. The Panninies are tasty but the bread they use is not really authentic. I really like the light tuna salad. I wish they had it more often as they usually sell out quickly. 3 stars because of how pricey it is. Food is good though.

Very tasty Bagels, the price is slightly higher, but still worth the few extra coins.

I just don’t understand why someone would go anywhere else. The bagels are always fresh and delicious, as well as items from the grill. I typically get a plain bagel with chocolate chip cream cheese and it is always made to perfection, fluffy bagel, creamy inside. I never enjoy the chocolate chip cream cheese anywhere else. I was given a bagel from a different local bagel shop yesterday and unfortunately it tasted so bad that I threw it out after one bite. My mother did the same thing after realizing that her«butter» was more of some kind of mix of butter-like product(not tasty, needless to say). Nothing compares to this place! The staff is also always pretty quick, even though it’s usually very busy here. Wish there were more seating, but the place is just lovely since their renovation a few years ago!

I order/take out from here all the time and I think its great. The reason I deducted a star is because it can be VERY expensive in comparison to other local delis. An egg sandwich can run you upwards of 8 dollars and a salad around 12. The shop itself is very clean and has ample room for seating. When you walk in you see the large salad bar selection and if you are getting a salad there is a checklist you can use to pick your items/dressing/toppings. Be careful! This can definitely add up especially if your like me and like a lot in your salad. You can get it chopped or they can just leave everything whole for you. They also have the option to get pre-made salads which all look extremely fresh and handmade. They have some good ones like taco or apple walnut. Of course all of their bagels look delicious(Ive only tried the low carb one which was meh– but of course how good could a low carb bagel be lol). They make great omletes as well and they have turkey bacon which is a plus. I always want to order mine on a low carb wrap but for some reason for the past few weeks they have been out of the wraps. The pastries and desserts look awesome as well. Everything looks so fresh and like it was just baked that day. When we order from here at work they usually include some type of cake with the order. My abs. fave so far has been the black and white cookie cake.

Not a bad place for breakfast. A bit disappointed with their sallads though. I know they’re grab-and-go but still … Very dry chicken and not much in the way of dressing. Would still go back though, those pancakes a previous reviewer mentioned sound amazing.

I decided to try this place on a whim and am so glad I did. I ordered oreo pancakes for my daughter and a pastrami melt on an onion bagel for myself. The oreo pancakes were HUGE and phenomenal. The bagel that the pastrami sandwich was on was the best onion bagel I’ve ever had. It was very fresh and had the perfect amount of onion in it. The sandwich itself was very filling and tasty. Great food, great service.
