Good luck. They fix a side door glass and the guy puts his tool box on the hood of your car with a pad. What reason would they have to put their tool box on your hood?

Sent out a driver for installation when it was way below freezing out in the winter, tons of warnings online NOT to do that… why do they still send out the drivers? Not sure… called it off for a trip into the garage for a nice warm install. Didn’t have the right glass first time around, and said I would have to reschedule. Day off wasted. Next time around, right windshield. Problem? Leaks just a teeny bit by the rear view mirror a month later. You had ONE job to do… seal a windshield. Problem is, where else do you go?

If you are thinking of going to this Safelite location — RUN!!! do not walk away. What a nightmare of a place. After 6 visits and damage to my almost new car I ended up at a body shop getting the body damage, that they caused, and the windshield fixed.
If I could have given negative stars I would have. Their corporate customer service was much better but this location should be closed down for their incompetence.

If I could give them a lower rating I would. They are awful. I scheduled to have my windshield repaired a week in advance and dropped my car off 2 hours before my appointment time, which was 11:00 AM. At 11:30 AM, the RECEPTIONIST called to advise me they did NOT have my windshield in stock! REALLY? After making my appointment almost a week in advance, they wait until the car is inside the shop to check
and see if they actually have the windshield in stock? She then tells me, with no apology whatsoever for wasting my time, that they will not have said windshield until the following week. I took the car and my business elsewhere. They suck.

I had my windshield replaced on Saturday July 27^th at the parking lot of my job. I think the tech came out of this location & if he didn’t oh well. The tech did an ok job & came within the time frame but while installing my windshield he cracked my rearview mirror. I called him to let him know & he said he didn’t realize he cracked it. Really!!? So he tells me someone will get back to me, here it is Monday afternoon & I had to call them. And don’t they promise to clean exterior glass & vacuum interior? Both of which he didn’t do. This guy is a joke!

I had a great experience when I contacted Safelite. This service was great and the courtsey extended to me was even
took no effort on my behalf and the time it was completed was outstanding.

I wish there was a lower rating I could give them but there is not. I dropped off my car ant the scheduled reserved time to replace my windshield and was told it would take about an hour and a half. I came back 90minutes later and they had not even begun the work. I took time off from work in the middle of a workday to have the front windshield replaced at their business and they did not even have the courtesy to explain why no one even looked in e direction of my car for an hour and a half.

I have used them three times, twice for my car, and once for my wife. They repaired a chip in both of our cars, and did a decent job. When my windshield cracked, they came out on a repair call and had to reschedule. When they rescheduled, I was away on a trip, but let them repair it anyways. When I returned home, there was little pieces of material from the seal throughout my front area. My first time driving it afterward, the rear view mirror was that loose that the mirror was basically useless. I stopped by their Freeport location, because I was in the area. They squeezed me in, and fixed the issue within 30 minutes. Today, about a month after they installed the new windshield, the stripping around the window started flapping as I am going down the highway. I stopped at the Freeport location again to schedule an appointment. They had someone look at it, and fix it on the spot.
If you live in the Bethpage area, go somewhere else, I wouldn’t let them touch another one of my families cars.

RIDICULOUS! I went to Safelite in Bethpage, NY for glass repair and left with a flat tire. I was unable to speak with a manager until the next day. After the manager, Willie Pinero aggressively dismissed the allegations, I found my way to get in touch with Richie Searles, the area manager. Before entertaining the idea that this could have happened in their parking lot with an extremely large pothole that is unavoidable if you are pulling from the parking lot to the garage, my integrity was immediately attacked. Regardless of whether you suffer the same fate beware they admittedly drive over this pothole everyday with every single car that is serviced there. Their level of customer service is poor at best. Cracked windshield on a 2010 Toyota Sienna. Liberty Mutual sent me here, Sunday appointment at 11:30 am and they were ready for me when I arrived. The technician went over my car with me to note any prior scratches or dings. Done in a little over an hour. Looks perfect. Clean and organized shop. No deductable or co pay and Liberty stands behind them if there is a problem. Quick, close by and a job well done.
