In 1961, a family of professional fence installation experts came from the State of Maine to established Carls Fence. The original storefront was located in North Merrick but after years of growth, the company relocated to our current larger location, on route 107 in Bethpage. In our showroom, we have a wide variety of products. P.V.C. Fence and Railing, Custom Wood, Stockade, Chain Link, Estate Fence, Aluminum Railing and Columns. Whether you own a home or a business, Carls Fence can help you design the plan that best suits your specific needs. Our helpful sales staff and professional installation crews help to make your fence experience pleasant. Besides new installations, Carls also repairs old or damaged fences. History

Established in 1961.

Carls Fence opened its doors in 1961 in Merrick. In the early 1970’s the business outgrew its initial location and moved to its current address in Bethpage.

i researched companies for outside stair railings. After receiving several estimates, I went with Carl’s Fence — the representative, Robert Kessler, arrived at my house exactly when he said he would, no waiting home all day — he showed me samples — went through all my options, product warranties and was patient as I asked question after question until i finally made a decision. Working with this rep and the company has been a pleasure !! Thank you

I researched many fence companies on Long Island after we had another well known fence company install a small fence (which was such low quality, we have since ripped that original fence out). Every one of the Carl’s fences I have seen (they proudly display their name & rightfully so!) have been of the utmost quality in materials and workmanship. Even Costco in Westbury used them! We had Carl’s replace the other «poor quality fence» from the rip off company and install new fences. We are so happy with them, we will be replacing a old wooden fence next year! There’s 2 companies on Long Island that go above and beyond … NEW YORK SHOWER DOOR and CARL’S FENCE!

They didn’t want my business. Everyone knows that you need to shop around and get a few estimates before you go spending 10 thousand dollars on something. I called and asked if they do free estimates and was told «it depends». I then was told that «I didn’t need to get estimates I should go on the internet and Angies list and get recommendations and then call him when I am ready». So I am sure he does great work and great prices but unfortunately he didn’t care. He mentioned it would take at least 3 weeks before he came out for an estimate on a Saturday. I have called 2 other LARGE fence companies and they were able to take out an hour of their time for an estimate. So do not call them unless you are going with them.

I looked around town to see which pvc fence looked the best and i could not find a carls fence that did not look good so I went to their pace on hicksville road
Really big showroom with lots to look through, and I was not bombarded with a hard sell, they gave me a price right over the counter and honored the price when the rep came by to double check my measurements, he was really knowledgeable and came up with some ideas I did not consider
So far so good, it’s been a few months and my fence looks as good as the day installed
