So there I was, sitting in my room listening to some fire tunes. Ya know, just another average normal day. When all of a sudden BAM! My fricken light burns out in the small lamp next to my bed. After lots of thinking, some tears, and hours of pacing around my room trying to figure out what to do, a light bulb went off in my head. HAHGETIT A LIGHTBULB: P I remembered there was this ace hardware store not far from my house. I grabbed my burnt out lightbulb and ran out of my house faster than you could’ve said Mary Poppins. I picked up my good friend matty boy from his house, ya know, just for some company because, man do I hate going into stores alone, I just can’t stand it. As I pulled up to the parking lot of ace hardware I was excited to get a new lightbulb for my favorite lamp. I was also excited to have my good friend matty boy in my passenger seat, because man do I hate going into stores alone. So as I entered ace hardware I just sensed some all around good vibes. These good vibes were about to take a turn for the worse. As we entered the light bulb section, now first let me tell you this was one of the greatest light bulb sections I have ever seen in the local stores near me. So as I was saying, when we got to the light bulb section I was overwhelmed with the amount of light bulbs that were there. Now my favorite lamp of all time takes this very specific lightbulb, unless it won’t work right. After some looking around for a few minutes I finally decided I need to ask someone for help. Only after that, the thought came into my head that I have terrible social anxiety, and I’ll just embarrass myself if I even attempt to talk to a stranger. I would’ve stuttered harder than a jackhammer being used by a strong sweaty construction worker. I asked my good friend matty boy to ask someone for me. Now I was really thankful to have him with me. We walked around the lightbulb section for hours and hours trying to find a single soul to help us. This section was like a fricken ghost town. I was baffled. Me and my good friend matty boy didn’t know what to do. So we did what we do best. We stood there and cried. We cried for a solid hour and a half. Eventually some older fella came over to us. Apparently, he also knew a lot about light bulbs. He dried up our tears with his snot filled handkerchief and led us to the lightbulb we needed. Thank goodness for him, or else who knows how long we would’ve been crying there in the light bulb section. Over all, horrible customer service and I will most likely not be going back there again unless I feel like having another mental breakdown.

Always a good experience. Helpful staff. Decent prices. Good variety. I always enjoy the seasonal store displays.

Ace is good to find those items that Loews or Home depot don’t carry, but the customer service at this store is very poor. you waste more time looking for help than the actual item… Need more staff… hello school is out! kids are looking for Jobs…

Neat, a chain hardware store. Good for what you need, if what you need is hardware.
