Looking for the small station that still cares? Remember when you could request a song and it actually got played? Well, WGPA is that throwback, the nostalgia station. Big Band, Doo Wop, British Invasion, early 70s, and POLKA. Yes, Polka music is alive and well at WGPA in Bethlehem. 6 days a week at that! It’s a beacon in the community that more folks should know about if they want to listen to a station that’s owned locally, staffed locally, and cares about the Valley.

I am being unashamedly biased as I am part of the staff, but I will say right here and now that WGPA is the best little AM station in the country. Our fearless leader is getting up there, but we will all trudge on as long as we are able. Polka, polka, polka! Whoooo!!!
