We specialize in training Professional Mixologists. If you want a job where you can have the freedom to move, have fun, meet people, not depend on a paycheck, then come to MWI where we can help you with our systematic job placement, and the best education. Liz is our Job Placement Director, she is a Yale graduate, she’s thorough but kind to all of our students. Our head instructor Rich is a Mixologist and a classically trained Chef. So if you want to go to a bartending school where education and job placement is a top priority, the MWI is the one for you, and we will support you even after graduation.

History

Established in 1992.

We’ve been in business since 1992, under the same ownership. We serve the area of Bethlehem, Allentown, Reading, and the Lehigh Valley, we have also been part of PBSA (Professional Bartending Schools of America) where we help with Job Placement with another 95 locations in the US and in Canada.

Meet the Manager

Ariel G.

Manager

Ariel (Founder, School Director, IBI, PBSA) was born and raised in Israel. She started bartending at a nightclub in Tel Aviv to put her husband through his PhD and to pay for her son’s education. When Ariel moved to the United States with a BA in Archaeology, she found that she was again drawn to the bar scene.

Her bartending experience was at first just a way to make money that was flexible and effective, but over time it was the one thing that enabled her to fully express her personality. The moments of connection, and friendships and stories she’s accumulated have led her to appreciate the gift of life, and instilled in her a desire to share this with others. In 1992, she founded the Mixology Wine Institute.

Outside of Mixology, Ariel enjoys bike riding, traveling, reading, yoga, and spirituality. She is inspired by her family, Tony Robbins, Paulo Coelho, Deepak Chopra, Tony Abou-​Ganim, and Dale DeGroff.
