My wife and I love LJS however, we have been very disappointed the last three times we visited, No Hushpuppies! What is LJS without hush puppies. So sad, will probably give it one more chance, if no puppies, will find another fish place to patronize.

The place was disgustingly dirty. The cashier looked as if she hated to be there, playing with her cell phone at times. Waited fifteen minutes for our take-​out order. The fish, chicken, and fries all had the same oil taste imbedded in the food. Will never go there again!

Well, it’s fast food technically, so it’s not the greatest in the world, BUT if you have a hunger for Fish and not much time, it’s WAY better than any fish item you would order from another fast food company.
Dining room is VERY VERY bland and old. It needs a LOT of help. Take your food to go, if you can. I’d actually rather eat in my car than inside. LOL

It’s Long John’s what can you say. Food is consistant. I love the hush puppies mine were nice and fresh piping hot when I got them just how I like them. I ordered the Treasure Chest Family Meal, 4 fish, 8 chicken, fries and corn. The first are never fresh they always seem to be a little soggy, the corn was sub-​par it seemed to have been sitting for a while and lacked flavor. They need to switch it up with KFC’s corn. The Fish, Chicken, and Hush Puppies were perfect.
