An inpatient facility for residents 12 years old or older, Good Shepherd Home – Bethlehem provides persons with physical disabilities with intermediate, heavy, or skilled nursing care. Good Shepherd Home – Bethlehem is a 60-bed resource open to patients with primary diagnoses including, but not limited to, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, quadriplegia, or Multiple Sclerosis. Residents may be referred by a physician, insurance company, discharge planner/social worker, home health agency, family member, or self-referral.
— 24-hour rehabilitative and restorative nursing care
— Daily occupational therapy activities
— Pastoral care including linkage with outside congregations, weekly ecumenical worship, and religious education program
— Physical therapy services designed to improve physical function as related to independence, comfort, and well-being
