Fairfield Inn & Suites Allentown Bethlehem/Lehigh Valley Airport

After two multi-​night stays at this Fairfield Inn, I would say it’s a solid 3 stars. No frills, but clean and fairly modern. Online or Marriott App check-​in the day before arrival speeds up the check-​in process. Free hot breakfast is convenient. And the 24 hour coffee/​tea bar comes in handy.
Parking is plentiful and free. There’s a small gym, an outdoor pool (open seasonally), a business center, and the market pantry to buy small sundry items and snacks.
I had clean, comfortable rooms on both stays, however the room on my first stay was quiet, but the second had a lot of highway noise. Try not to stay in the odd numbered rooms in the 101 – 111 hallway to avoid that.

Great little hotel. The room was nice and clean. Staff was very friendly. Beds are firm with nice fluffy pillows. Breakfast consisted of various cereals, oatmeal, eggs (boiled and scrambled), biscuits and gravy, bagels, muffins, yogurt, fruit, and waffles. I didn’t get a chance to check out the pool or other amenities, but for the one night I stayed there it was good.

Love coming here. Friendly staff, easy to get to. Comfy bed & pillows. As a travel agent would definitely recommend you to stay here.

Recently renovated. Nice appearance. Very poor wifi quality in room 106.
If you’re a fitness buff you will be disappointed. Only one treadmill and one recumbent bike. No elliptical and a universal machine that has been broken for months. Every time I visit it remains in the same condition. One broken pulley and cable replacement could easily be repaired but I don’t think it is a priority for management.

Nice efficient stay. One note, that may mess up people from now on, because they’ll think of it, is that the bathtub (and this is not unique to Fairfield Inns) is narrow AND the floor is curved in from the sides, making standing a little precarious. I had the same observation at a Hampton Inn.

They have wonderful staffs and they are all very nice and helpful. It was very pleasant staying at this place!

I travel constantly and have been in scary, cold, stinky rooms to four star hotels. What I find makes a place to stay is not what you get in the establishment but how you are treated.
This place was great, the people were outstanding. We were in the area at a bad time with all other hotels booked up. Another hotel called down to these folks and found us the last room in the area. It was a good thing I was wiped out.
Not only was the room nice but the people were so friendly I felt like I have been there many times before. Special points to Alia Morales and Vicky Fairbarn for being so nice. Also thanks to Nick for driving us out and coming to get us at the Ironpigs ball game.

As far as Marriott’s go this one is a bit more simplistic, but that’s not a bad thing. The hotel is clean and spacious, and located in an area with easy access to shopping and a quick jaunt over to the airport.
The rooms are nice and the best are ridiculously comfortable, but the pillows are somewhat lackluster. Being a hotel, good pillows are a must, but the down pillows were soft and rather flat. Our rooms (we had two) were clean and very well kept. Parking wasn’t too bad even though the lot was near capacity when we arrived (the hotel was booked solid).
They had a fairly decent breakfast spread included with the room with plenty of options. It’s included with the stay, and will definitely help get your day off to a good start.
I’d stay again, but I’d definitely request extra pillows the next time ’round.

Not a bad hotel, and right off the major roads (or what I assume to be major roads — I’m from NJ, anything short of a screaming freeway seems like a side street to me).
I stayed here with some friends for Memorial Day weekend, arriving late at night, around 2AM. Pretty standard Marriott here, although bordering on more of a «motel» feel than a traditional hotel, due to the fairly simple layout and décor. The rooms were comfortable, the A/​C was able to be cranked to nearly freezing, and I liked the fact that the shower /​toilet was separate from the sink area.
The downsides? One of the biggest pet peeves of mine is present here — double /​queen beds with only 3 pillows on them. It’s like they encourage couples to fight over who gets the extra pillow. Seriously guys, 4 pillows per bed goes a long way in comfort. Oh well, at least the beds were comfortable, and I got a decent sleep. Also, for a Mariott, this place felt a little… dated. Not «Welcome to 1987» dated, but maybe a few years behind. The switch for the bathroom is on the outside of the bathroom door. While great for pranks, this isn’t the best spot for it.
Overall, I’d stay here again. Bonus points for having a pretty good breakfast buffet, as well as being down the street from a bunch of pretty good restaurants.

yea, 3 stars is about right. i mean, for marriot, its average as far as perks went, but in the end it was a bed with meh coffee in the morning. oh painfully long elevator. but sleep button on the tv.
the free airport shuttle is likely a good idea since cabs in this area are redic $$$ if you are staying here for a flight

I’m a frequent traveler, so I have a higher expectation for hotels. Nothing is all that bad about the Fairfield, but nothing will wow you, either. Its a fairfield, so wifi is free, and there is a free breakfast, which is your standard, prepackaged muffins and microwave-​ready breakfast sandwiches. The cable is okay, but the ESPN HD channel never works for whatever reason, which annoys me/

Great location and nice hotel. Excellent service. Located down the street from one of the best sushi locations in Allentown.
