History

Established in 2004.

The 1888 pharmacy building was designed originally by A. W. Leh and Evelyn Beckman in 2004 was given the chance to fully restore it, creating Ambre Studio, offering juried fine art exhibitions, bringing artists, art organizations, art educators, art collectors, and corporations together to create and appreciate original art. Guests attending Ambre Studio’s art openings were so impressed with the elegance, grace, and charm of the space, with its beautiful celadon colored walls, 12 ft” tall ceilings, stained glass, and antique Eastlake furnishings, that they requested private events there. One party became two, then three and now Ambre Studio offers custom event planning services and shares the space with anywhere from 8 guests up to 100 guests. The events vary from private brunch, lunch, dinner, or mixer, with sit-down meals available up to 40 guests with blue and white Asian motif Blue Willow dishes, or up to 20 guests with our famous collection of amber glassware settings.
