Accents From Head To Toe

My wife starting going here about a year ago and I started just recently but both of us have had wonderful experiences. The owner is amazing, friendly, and makes sure everyone gets great treatment. They can amazingly actually style men’s hair as well as women’s which seems to be a common fail point for many other establishments. I noticed a few mentioned Monica below and their positive experiences. I was surprised by this as I have not had her as a stylist but have seen her interactions and honestly dislike being in her presence. Based on the reviews below, I will try to give her another shot… maybe I was having a bad day. I will update that portion of my review when that occurs.
The biggest reason for not giving a 5-​star is that a few of the staff I would consider somewhat unprofessional (which in some ways lends toward the friendly environment in many cases) and the establishment itself is in an old house so the layout and design isn’t the greatest. With that said, these are factors that usually play very heavily in my decisions of where I want to go for various services but the quality of their service and the value really make it worthwhile.

slight issue is pedi chair is stuck in the back of the business, but its a house that the business is in, so thats what ya get. But very nice.

Just had my hair cut and colored yesterday by Monica. It was such a great experience! They were all very nice and Monica did EXACTLY what I was looking for: natural looking highlights. The partial highlight was done on a lot of hair (not 6 pieces of foil like some more expensive places I’ve been to), so I appreciated that. The price was great and I will definitely be going back!

What a great salon! Easy to find and the lovely ladies who work there are so super easy to get along with. When my best friend was planning her wedding the one decision she didn’t appear to hesitate on booking the salon for her bridal party. This was my first time at Accents and I def plan on going back.
My hair is not a dream to work with (it doesn’t hold curls or hair spray, its thin and boring) but my hair stylist gave me a voluminous head of big, sexy curls in a matter of 20 minutes! And they lasted ALL day and night which I was quite surprised at.
And — my best friend, the bride, looked like a doll. Perfect hair and perfect make up.
They also have the best nail technician, Melissa. Make an appointment with her — she’s sweet, funny and does an AWESOME job.
