We specialize in Floortime, Occupational Therapy, Sensory Integration, Social Groups and Art Therapy. All of our services are performed in accordance with Dr. Stanley Greenspan’s DIR Model.

History

Established in 2004.

Since the start of The Floortime Center™ in 2004, they have worked with over 900 families, and have presented 1 to 4 day workshops for various health and educational organizations.

Workshops include:

–Training the entire Special Ed. District of Maui, HI in DIR®/Floortime™

–Working on an ongoing basis with 5 Special Ed. Schools throughout the US.

–Training numerous special needs organizations in DIR®/Floortime™

Meet the Business Owner

Jake G.

Business Owner

Jake Greenspan and Tim Bleecker are the co-​directors of The Floortime Center™ in Bethesda, Maryland. The Floortime Center™ is a child development center specializing in the use of the DIR®/Floortime™ model. With the help of Dr. Stanley Greenspan, they developed evaluation and intervention programs based on all aspects of the DIR® model.

Their previous work experiences include:

— Being mentored by Dr. Stanley Greenspan

–Teaching children with learning disabilities

–Working with Occupational, Physical, and Visual-​Spatial Therapists

–Developing social programs.

Jake Greenspan is currently the Chairman of the Board for All The Difference Inc., a DIR/​Floortime non-​profit clinic in Wilmington DE, and a founding member of Creative Arts and Minds Charter School in Washington DC. Tim Bleecker is currently a PhD candidate in Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health and Developmental Disorders.
