As a former teacher, I take pride in helping first time buyers and sellers who I provide great customer service in order to keep them as clients for life. I sell everything from condos to townhouses to rowhouses to single family houses.- previously owned properties and new construction.
History
Established in 1987.
I got my real estate license in 1987 because a house I owned in Illinois wasn’t selling and I wanted to figure out why. The basic real estate courses didn’t really help me answer that question (although the house did finally sell), but I discovered I really liked the variety of people and properties that I was exposed to. And having a helping nature, real estate satisfied my need to give and teach. I’ve been with Long & Foster since the beginning, currently in the top producing Bethesda Gateway office. I’ve also served in a number of leadership positions in local and state real estate organizations.

Business Owner
Sarah Toppins, a former journalist and college journalism professor, became a Realtor with Long & Foster in 1987 when her house in Illinois didn’t sell. In addition to helping buyers and sellers, Sarah serves as a trainer for her office and Long & Foster. She specializes in new agent and technology training. She has also earned most of the advanced designations and certifications offered by the industry.
