Maria does excellent work at reasonable prices. Whether she’s hemming my husband’s pants or completely re-working a horrible bridesmaids’ dress, Maria is a pro. She’s kind, but also honest — if she thinks the alteration you’re requesting won’t work or will end up being unflattering, she’ll say so, which I appreciate so I’m not wasting my money on lost causes. I’ve been going to her for years and there’s no one I’d trust more with a tricky fix or ambitious dressmaking project, but I still take her simple hem jobs because I know she’ll do quality work and won’t overcharge me. She’s the best!

I have had many items altered at Rose Custom Dressmaking and Alternations. She is an amazing seamstress. A great eye to see exactly what needs to be done to fit the dress. I brought in two very expensive dresses and she was able to alter both so that they actually fit perfectly, noting the sleeve needed to be taken up and other details that I had not considered.
Her pricing is reasonable and her work is well worth the cost! I am so glad that I found this person and would recommend her to anyone.
