The good news is this store has survived the chapter 11 and has the traditional drawers of bits and pieces. The bad news(for me, a ham radio operator) is very little actual radio stuff.

1Had a decent experience. Had to buy a battery to get my s4 running. Since the at & t store said they couldn’t sell any. May have been a little expensive but they were attentive. They even put the battery in when I couldn’t fit it in right. They helped me out

Went in for iPhone repair after they told me base price was $ 40. Then because it was an iPhone 4 it was bumped to $ 70. After coming back 4 times to pick it up after continued promises of «it will be ready soon», they charged me $ 79.99. Talked to manager who said I should be happy with the $ 7(10%) discount. He also kept pressing me to purchase a phone case. There is a kiosk right outside that quoted me $ 40 with the same warrenty as radio shack. This is the last time I am ever walking in to any RadioShack!

I will never shop or use Radioshack for any service because of this locations lack of professionalism, customer service, and sheer lack of caring. Avoid purchasing any phone plans, or using any in store services. I had a horrible experience here where at least 3 workers personally offended me and even called me to ask me out on a date when I never gave anyone my number other than to upgrade my phone plan. Also, when I brought in my Samsung galaxy note screen in the store to fix a broken button, it took 2 months to ultimately get back when it was suppose to be an overnight service. Please avoid giving this place ANY of your hard earned money and go somewhere else if possible. There are a few other issues with this store, but I won’t ramble on any further.

Contacted radio shack customer service and it seems like they want to denied any lying and protecting the assistant manager that lied.

Went in to buy a charger for my Bluetooth headset, when they went to ring me up, the associate told me he was adding the protection plan and I asked him not too, then he continually tried to convince and argue with me that I needed it, it was downright harassment after I said no almost five times, never go here, last couple of times they had problems with products in the wrong spot and wouldn’t live up to the price marked

This is only my 16th one-star review out of 1108 reviews, therefore you can tell how negatively I feel about this store. We went there nine days ago to buy a battery and the salesman talked us into buying a three-pack. Meanwhile; just as we were leaving, my husband remembered he needed to buy a cable — and that same salesman told him a replacement protection plan was included(hey, not bad). However; after my husband had paid and we were walking through the mall, I looked at the receipt and noticed we’d been *charged* for the plan(!). We returned to the store and told the(same) salesman that we wanted our money back for both the cable & the protection plan, and he kept trying to(unsuccessfully) talk us out of returning the cable. We should have also returned the batteries…

I stopped by to pick up some accessories for my cell phone. This store is packed to the seams with stuff that made be feel hopeful that I would be able to buy everything I had in mind. I approached the salesperson on the floor and asked him recommendations for the three items I was looking for. For all the three items, the salesperson did take me to the correct area, but was unable to find the products that would fit my needs. Not that I am building a rocket but was looking for standard cellphone accessories like charger, etc. So I left the store without any shopping done. Luckily for me, there is a Best Buy Mobile store across the hallway!

Radioshack HQ takes a hard line attitude about returns(even if only FORCREDIT of a $ 20 item and the purchase of a more expensive item), regardless of whether an item is defective. 30 days is the limit. You must have a receipt also. The workers hold this line and never budge. But they don’t do it in a nice way. I called the regional manager from this location and after around 45 minutes I finally got a call back that«this time only» the store would accept my return for credit. The store people are not nice, or friendly, or particularly helpful. I think this must come from the corporate culture. I used to shop at this place back when it was Tandy in the 60s/70s. I will never shop here again. My only satisfaction comes from knowing the corporate person probably spent more in salary costs looking up my purchase than they made in profit.
