i use to hate Qdoba, but this location has changed my perspective, i love the friendly staff that work there, and the food is yummy!!! specially the steak burrito! I pretty much go back every week, its an addiction lol. I use to go to chipotle, but the E coli breakout kept me away and needed something similar, and it has filled that void. :) haha no seriously i am happy Qdoba exists.

I haven’t been to a Qdoba in a few years and boy did it hit the spot! They used to have a student discount one day a week, but now Monday through Thursday they have $ 5 burrito for students! I had a groupon that I had to use but with that deal I will be back! I got a whole wheat tortilla(I’m glad they have these let me feel like I am a little healthy haha) with no rice, both beans, chicken, double queso, lettuce tomato, and salsa. Fun additions since the last time I was here: Spicy queso(I was tempted but stuck with the regular) and bacon queso. This is where qdoba has a leg up on chipotle: QUESO! The people were really nice and helpful answering my questions about whats spicy and not. And the man at the register was going to give us free drinks because we were students with the groupon, but we just drink water anyways. I had a great experience and burrito, will be back!

Food is decent. Great thing of that there is never a line there and kids meals are under $ 5 and you get a lot of good for it! Adult meals are ok but kind of pricey. There is a chipotle now in the mall as well. I think they are trying to run this guy out as he had the only food court store front that was not renovated. Honestly, I’m not sure there is a market gor qdoba in general. If you want Mexican, you oh to chipotle. If you want fancy burritos, you go to California tortilla. The food there is ok… average but definitely not a best of breed chain.

I love Qdoba in general but this particular store is the worst. It’s overcrowded at certain times, and the employees seem to hate their job. If you get a burrito or bowl, they tend to fill half of it with rice, but fill little meat and cheese in it. If I wanted that much rice I would have gone to Panda Express. Hopefully they’ll clean up their store and employees’ attitudes.

Gotta have my 3 dollar breakfast from qdoba! This is a nice spot in the mall to get that classic breakfast rolled up… in burrito form. One of the few places in the food court you can actually sit down INSIDE the restaurant. What I like the most about this place is the morning crew that always greets me with a smile. They also remember me each time, and help me practice my Spanish skills. If you wink you might be able to get some free extra queso too ;)

Do you have a restaurant you go to and always order the same thing every time you get there? Well, that’s Qdoba, and it’s the grilled chicken quesadillas. My other one is Chipotle for the chicken soft tacos. Still not sure how to pronounce the name, Qdoba not quesadilla but once I tried it, I didn’t need to try anything else. I see a lot of people at this place ordering burritos, but frankly, if I wanted rice, I’d go for Chinese, plus they can be difficult and messy to eat. On the other hand the chicken quesadillas are packed with flavor from the marinated chicken to the gooey cheese which get toasted brown and crispy on the edges. The order is cut into 4 wedges and you eat it like a pizza slice. The scoop of guac that comes with it is excellent as well but is never enough. At around $ 7 and no tip necessary this is my go to place when I have a grilled chicken craving.

Since most of the food places here at Mont Mall is fairly similar, I decided to give this place a try. I was happy about the $ 5 burrito bowl for students. This price is cheaper than most of its competitors in the food court. I ordered a chicken burrito bowl with lettuce, corn, sour cream, tomatoes, and black beans. The chicken taste fresh and it isn’t seasoned as spicy as Chiptole’s. I think both places are fairly similar but qdoba provides a fresher taste and the student discount meal makes it cheaper than chipotle’s too.

Thanks to Unilocal,I’ve recently discovered that I have a fetish. A queso fetish. And thanks to Qdoba’s bomb ass queso, I will now likely be forced to act on this fetish. Like filling up my hot tub and bathing in it. So my youngest sister introduced me to the goodness that is Qdoba when I was too lazy to drive the additional 5 minutes up the street to Chipotle. There were 4 of us that day, so we each ordered a different«naked» burrito(a bowl, no tortilla) and we all shared. Their food is far more fresh than Chipotle’s is as of late, and their steak is actually cooked! I also much prefer the cilantro lime rice at Qdoba than I do at Chipotle, which I never thought I’d hear myself say. What really puts Qdoba over the top though, is their queso. It’s a blend of 3 cheeses, which just the right amount of kick to wake you up, but not enough to set your mouth on fire. I get it on top of every bowl I get and it adds such a freaking fantastical taste to my meal that I just can’t get enough of it! I even order a huge side of it with chips to continue fueling my queso addiction. It’s just too good. And I’m willing to do triple workouts in the gym as long as I can keep eating it. The other thing I love is the fact that Qdoba has a kids«naked» burrito! For someone who wants to enjoy Qdoba, but knows if they got a full-sized bowl, they would devour the whole thing, the kids size is PERFECT! It also comes with a side of applesauce and a small kids drink — for less than $ 5, it’s a total steal! And that is with both steak and chicken and queso on it! Where else can you find such a satisfying meal for that cheap? That’s right… nowhere! In terms of the location itself, it’s located on the far back wall of Montgomery Mall’s food court. It’s a tiny spot, with a few tables inside the glass and a counter where you can eat, but most people either opt to eat in the main food court seating area or get carryout. This particular location has always been very clean. Sometimes you will have to wait a minute or two for them to put out fresh steak or chicken, but you know what, I don’t mind waiting for that and I don’t think anyone else does either. But seriously, if you take nothing else away from this review, get a vat of their damn queso and motorboat it! Then send me pics ;-)

Poor quality Chipotle. I had the mango chicken salad in a taco shell bowl. That taco shell was so stale and soggy. The salad itself was okay, light and fresh but not great. The mangoes were out of season so they weren’t sweet, more sour. This is inside the mall, so gotta sit wherever there is seating at the food court.

Qdoba should close this store. It is the worse one ever. Poor quality all around. I understand it is fast food, but Qdoba normally much better. The chicken was so bad we thought it was only beaks and feet. And the place was NOT clean. Pass!

Food was fantastic, way better then chipotle the food was very flavorful, plus there’s a discount for students so it was well worth it.

WOW! What a nice little unexpected surprise. NOT your typical chain-style Mexican eatery. And DEF not a Taco Bell! FRESH meat every day! They cater, you can order online, and they have take-out! We were stuck in traffic today. headed to Mclean… I know. what else is new? It was poring down rain, awful weather, and we really didn’t want to make the rest of the trip today. So we got off on Democracy, short trip to the mall, parking was horrible. Went inside and walked around to wait out the weather and traffic. We decided to eat an early lunch and began to look at our options. The food court seemed promising, but very busy. We came upon this out of the way eatery… pleasantly different! Qdoba. They have signature items and their own recipes. I ordered my standby for Mexican places when I’m not sure what to order… Grilled Chicken Quesadilla. And talk about BIG! The Chicken Q was $ 6.59, which seems a lot, but when you get your food, you will understand and not mind the price. Mine was quite filling. My husband ordered Pulled Pork Burrito… HUGE! And he was full! Which is not always easy to do! :-) Price:$ 6.19. With Nachos and queso as a side, we went away satisfied! I give them a 4 for taste, menu and prices! But the space at lunch is a catch as catch can. Enjoy!

I wanted nachos, bad. After a day of shopping — Qdoba was my only option for some quick Mexican food. I’m very loyal to Chipotle and not a huge fan of CalTor at all… thought I might as well round out the bunch and try Qdoba out. The service was very rude. It was my first time eating there, so I didn’t know if nachos were also made to order in the line. The workers rushed me through what I wanted and were very skimpy with the portions. I noticed that the workplace wasn’t very clean either. There were no trays and I had to carry my drink, salsa on the side, and nachos to the table separately. The food was okay — didn’t taste nearly as fresh as Chipotle, but it was decent. I didn’t like that the tomatoes and chicken were so chunky; I prefer the diced versions at Chipotle. Would only eat here again if I were craving Mexican… otherwise, I’d rather drive somewhere else.

Qdoba isn’t my favorite in general. I’d rather have Chipotle or California Tortilla. However, at the Montgomery Mall food court, Qdoba is the only option in this category. The service here really leaves quite a bit to be desired. I’ve eaten here two days in a row. The first day, mind numb from training, I walked up to the wrong end of the counter. First I was just stared at, then I was finally abruptly told that I needed to go to the other end. As my salad was being assembled, I practically had to yell at the guy not to put cheese on it, because he was not paying attention and chit-chatting with his co-worker. The lady behind the register was busy biting her nails — of her right hand, which she used to give me my change. Yuck. Don’t think I’ll be coming back here.
