Lana Barth Design is a full service interior design firm that caters to all of your interior dreams! We design spaces for singles as well as large families. We design first apartments and senior living apartments. We create custom homes and model homes and everything in between. We prepare space plans and design schemes; design cabinetry and custom furnishings; specify furniture and fabrics and materials; design and specify wall, window, and flooring materials and lighting. From color consults to complete home refurbishing; from one room to an entire house, we can meet your needs.

History

Established in 1985.

I began my business in Orange County, California, designing small retail stores and restaurants, as well as beach front and desert custom homes and senior apartments. I migrated east to Kensington and then Bethesda in 1995, where I became creative director for a model home merchandising firm, before venturing out on my own.

While in California, I contributed articles to the LA Times on Design Trends, and participated in three Orange County Philharmonic Design Show Houses, where I won the «People’s Choice» award for the best room.

I have a passion for creating interiors that are both fresh and inviting. No two people are the same, and no two interiors should be the same.

With over 25 years of interior design experience and a bachelor of Fine Art in Interior Design, I have learned the art of mixing colors and styles to create interiors that are unique expressions of how my clients want to live.

A 20 year professional member of ASID and NCIDQ, I am able to provide my clients with peace of mind through the design process and the joy of living and working in their renewed surroundings.
