Far and away the best auto shop I have ever worked with. I have a 2001 P38 with 175,000 miles. Dean knows this car like the back of his hand. His prices are reasonable and the level of service is unparalleled. If you own a Rover in the DC area, do yourself a favor and bring it to Independent for all your needs from oil changes to tires to the more complicated repairs.

These guys are the best it can get for LR owners. Found them after years of passing by the place wondering why they only had Land and Range Rovers parked outside of this garage/​gas station after hours. So after my Range Rover was out of warranty, I looked them up and have never looked back. Have even recommended them to a fellow LR owner who is still under warranty. From oil changes, to checking sensor light indicators, they care, are honest, fair, and most importantly fairly priced. They have saved me hundreds $ vs. dealer prices on routine services and parts. Highly recommend!

Brought in my Range Rover after having been dealing the last few years with another independent shop in Virginia.
Could not have been more pleased with the professionalism and knowledge displayed by Dean and Ben. Dean even fixed the buttons on the key fob that had started to wear out as soon as I dropped the car off without my asking.
Service was fast and the items needed were clearly described. The best part was that when I picked up the car it drove much better than when I had dropped it off a few annoying problems had been taken care of.
Very very happy and wish that I had found these guys earlier. The best place in the DC area to get your Land Rover serviced. You can tell that they really know Land Rovers very well.

Dean knows his stuff. Very personable, and most importantly, very good and honest. I think the prices are reasonable for the expertise, service, and professionalism you receive. Very up to date — will email an easy to read, detailed estimate for your review, before starting work, and keeps you informed of progress by phone in a timely manner.
Overall, very good experiences here.
