Coco Mio

This little boutique is packed with unique trinkets, jewelry and tons of accessories.
At first glance, it may not be apparent how many great finds you’re surrounded by. I sure didn’t. In fact, when I first walked in my initial of the boutique lead me to believe this was a place that my mother and grandmother might like. Not that they are not women of great taste, but perhaps just of a more mature taste.
However, once I started to actually look through the displayed items, I found so many awesome gifts that were classic, but still a bit trendy and playful including a unique, sequenced beret, incense and candles, soaps, shaws, compacts and a bunch of other knick-​knacks. To my surprise, there were a number of areas of the store where you could find discounted items ranging from 30−50% off, making many of the jewelry items extremely affordable.
If you are an impulse buyer, just make note of the return policy. Although I was sure I would not be returning my purchased items, I remember that it was very specific so just double check before you fork over that cash.

Coco Mio has a wonderful and unique collection for woman. When I run out ideas in the mall, Coco Mio is my saver to get gift for my wife, daughter, and colleagues. I agree the price of Coco Mio is not the best deal, but is fair and reasonable. I got one French-​imported sweater for my daughter after Thanksgiving for $ 60. For me it is a great deal. My wife spent $ 200 for the similar sweater when she was in France last year.
Shopping centers and malls are occupied by chain stores and pretty much similar everywhere. I really appreciate Bethesda has such an unique boutique store.

Coco Mio is a cute little store in a basement right next to the knit shop, a Starbucks and the Rice Paddies Grill. I stopped in today to look around after a yummy lunch at RPG. I admit that I popped in firstly to prolong the absence of me at my desk for just a few minutes longer… but the «SALE» signs outside and inside made it a done deal.
The moment you step in, you can feel the bright, cheerful vibe of the store — from the friendly greeting, to the pink walls and cute things for sale. I noticed a lot of hair accessories — headbands, clips, sparkly barrettes as well as clothing, scarves, purses, necklaces and earrings.
The price tag per item is kind of expensive, if you ask me… but I think it’s a cool place to pick up gifts for your girly friends.
